Best in Black was honestly not a doll I was excited for the second she was announced. Now I have three of them. One to redress, one to reroot, and one to keep in the box. Her face is so so gorgeous and she is amazing to play and style. Very classic Barbie with a modern face. In terms of the articulated body I really love both of them, with a bias towards the newer articulated body. I just love posing them and handling them. The classic body feels really good in your hand and displays better. ALSO if you look at the articulated body without a head the body looks quite gorgeous. Really beautiful lines, etc. The second the head comes on it looks a bit off just because the silkstone heads are a bit too large for the articulated bodies!!

Oh guys, I love this collection - unfortunally where I live they are just so expensive that not so many people can afford.
The quality of the Silkstones was always on point, but the classic fashion designed by Best is what makes then shine.
Unfortunally; I don't see this last wave to close the collection as a Grand Finale, in the past they were speechless.
I would say Barbie Best in Black is going to her own funeral, don't know if that is accurate! do not know if Mattel is going to make Barbie shine again, do not see it coming. The last collectible dolls are kinda off on what Barbie used to be for 55 years. The last playline ones were rough on quality and design.
Even so, this doll is actually really special. The Silkstones were all so pretty and unique, it's hard to even imagine Mattel doing that again. Being basic and simple is o..k, but when u look at the past is easy to spot why collectors were upset. Something is missing. The sketch gives some expectation that reality kinda takes away.
The review was great. Hope to see more of Silkstones here!

Basic, but not primitive I would say. Love the whole look, but I understand why this doll recieved such low feedback.

Hey guys, i just got this doll and i love it! iI was wondering if you had any clue what material her hair is (kanekalon, saran or nylon?) I want to reroot but i love the material her hair is already made out of (I kinda burned her hair a little)

The "execution" of the products, especially in the factories, has declined so much!!!
The doll is pretty, not fond of the outfit
Could have been nicer.
Not their best effort, the packaging is nice and she could use a repaint
Looks a little washed out
Still going to purchase because she is the last one
The older Silkies cannot be rivalled
The Lingerie collection is still their best.
A good starting point
