Barbie Basics is one of the best Barbie doll line has ever created and released by Mattel. The quality as it’s finest, from their different facesculpts, make up, hair, outfit, not mention the great doll pacakaging. These dolls indeed are very far superior than the new dolls that they selling now in the market, it’s truly for an adult Barbie Collectors.
You guys are lucky to have model 05, she is quite rare online. I agree that Mattel really needs to give us more options, they seem to be focus more and more into their playline.
I don't think its worth collecting all twelve of the black dress barbie basics unless you guys really love all twelve of them, there are more barbie basics that you guys might like, such as the "barbie basics red dress target exclusive" and the barbie basics collection 02 which is the jeans collection (they include male model muse)
Also "Barbie The Look" Red Carpet, City Shopper & City Shine collections are the successor of the Barbie Basicss line, I think you guys will love the dolls from these collections!

I do have 6 out of the collection 001. and They are so hard to find! I wish Mattel/Barbie still took out the dolls from these lines cuz they were amazing!

When they came out i was freaky crazy to have all of them and Finally I got them! Everyone is so Unique, gorgeous with a Big Quality! My all time fave is Model #2 (very difficult choose) I hope You'll get them too! Cross Fingers! ☺️

I am a HUGE fan of Barbie Basics...I have every doll and accessory pack of the entire series but 4...I still need the 3 from 2.5 and model #14 from 003..I will get them though. The doll with the short blond bob totally gives me Casey vibes from Scream (drew Barrymore)

I was never a Barbie kid :/ bratz only so my opinion on these dolls are basic 😂😂 they look nice but aren’t for me.
Mattel used to be good. Now the quality is far worse. The fashionistas line such a flop & the fashion is terrible. I really wish Barbie basics make a comeback for adult collectors.
