Her hair is supposed to resemble braids or dreadlocks. In the 90s beyond pink Christie and the Brandy doll fashioned after the singer/ actress who wore her hair in long micro braids had dolls made with that hair. Now I’m not sure if the fiber used on the hair is the same, because the two I had had barbie hair fibers it was just spun or twisted in small strands.

I love everything that comes with it! I have all three jam n glam dolls just for their outfits and absolutely for the shoes too so I totally get it; they’re my faves too! I also got jewel girl Christie for the same reason lol. But back to the jam n glam dolls they all have the same issues with they’re “shrug” it eventually fell apart.
Cute! I have always wanted this doll, but for the fashions only. She is quite pricey though. Loved that blooper! That was the ultimate blooper 😂

Her hair is supposed to be micro braids, I think that’s cool. Mine has soft hair and I like that texture, something different!

Oh she’s lovely, I love all the pieces, I think I have the long dress. Pity about the elastic on the shrug maybe you could sew on some real elastic? Ohh I quite like her hair it’s unusual I love the purple top and skirt they look velvet. 😘😘😘😘😘😘

Wow I thought the shattering glass was an added sound effect! her hair is supposed to be micro braids they translate better on the AA version.

I have the same doll...apparently you need to brush her hair with a tooth brush to remove the braid and dip it into a hot water!

Yes, I think I kinda like the early 2000s Barbies 😉 I assume the quality of hair and everything else was at its best in those times 😅
I think I would try rerouting hair for the first time if I had her. If it is supposed to look like micro braids, they missed the mark. Love the clothes and accessories,
