I'm unable to choose the latest version of ios 16. On my iPad which doesn't support ios 17 I was able to update to latest version of ios 16 but on my iPhone I'm only able to update to the newest version of ios 17. Need to say that I was able to do this with ios 15. This option simply dissappeared. None of my friends have it there neither. I only see this on my Mac. I think that Apple has removed this option to force users to update to the latest version or the newest ios. Which for me terribly sux coz they're releasing buggy versions and I don't wanna update to them coz I use my devices for daily work and it happened to me that they have become unusable due to bugs in new version when I had the auto update on. But on the other hand I'm missing important security updates due to being unable to update to latest versions of older ios. I believe there's more ppl having the same issue as myself remembering days when apple used to "Simply work".
