The fact he was given only 7 and a half minutes to go 42 blocks in New York City, a clearly impossible task. He was trying to get Peter fired.

I love this scene, because if he hadnt have saved those kids he wouldve made it, but of course hes spiderman so hes not just gonna let them get killed just to pay the rent.
And it shows how its hard for him to balance his priorities of being a superhero but also being just a regular human being who has to make a living just to live. Ahh the stresses of life.
Spiderman 2 is probably my favourite tobey movie tbh.
He gets good karma points for saving those kids.

Now that’s impossible, there is no way anyone can make it for that time frame in New York.
Would a pizza place in Manhattan even deliver that far - especially one with a full refund policy for late deliveries? And why would they order pizza from 42 blocks away. Surely, there's a closer pizzeria. It's NYC.
Tbf the time limit was originally 29 minutes, Peter only had 7 minutes to do the delivery because he was late which is a recurring thing with him for obvious reasons.

For his part, Parker was always late and delivered pizza late, so he was unfaithful, so no wonder he fired him.
