      Tbh, MBDTF is amazing but an overrated album. Def not a top 5 album of all-time, it's top 30 at best IMO. But in regards to Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt, you can argue that these two are def top 2 albums of all-time.

      Jonathan SCCP mbdtf isn't even kanyes best album in my opinion. it's a great album but I think it's impact was what made it even better, it proved Kanye hadn't fallen off after 808s when everyone doubted him. I think it's safe to say college dropout belongs in the top 3-5 of all time

    Blueprint is a 5 mic, but Reasonable Doubt is on another level. The beats, the rhymes, the stories, the persona, the pain, it just didn't get any better for him. When he said "Telling my family I'll be back soon, that was December", I felt a hole in my chest, that was real.

    9:22 greatest sample and greatest rap song of all time hands down, u could tell by the guy’s reaction and how he let the whole verse go on, he only did this with the Dead Presidents verse throughout the whole series. 🐐

    Reasonable Doubt is hands down one of the greatest Hip Hop albums of all time.

      Jacob Thomas, its not really a slept on classic. A lot of people know it as a classic. That album went Double Platinum in the Us, & Street Dreams went Gold in the US. It has been seen as Nas's 2nd best album.

    I attended one of Mos Def’s concerts at USC early 2,000’s (forgot the exact year...Charlie Tuna opened) Mos and his DJ were the first I personally saw and heard play the current hip hop and it’s original classic samples used. Though I’ve been to tons of shows and several of Mos Shows that was the such a dope segment in the show. This video series is an extension of that concept.

Hence why it has that 70s soulful vibe which is definitely camp lo’s sound . I hear that crippled them and they never came back from that . Sad if it’s true .
