I just bought a pair of SP 1500's. They are cosmetically a 9/10 and sound absolutely amazing. Paid $300 I believe it was well spent. Hard to believe they were made in 1969 the year I was born. Thank you for the hard work in making this video. Subscribed!

I purchased a new pair of S-65U speakers in 1990. My data sheet says: 130 Max Watts, 8 Ohms Impedance, 90db Sensitivity, Response 35Hz to 20k Hz, Crossover 5,000Hz / 8,000hz. I had to replace the woofer due to surround rot about 15 years ago. I got a rubber surround replacement. Still going strong. Great video. I am sure it was a lot of work. Thanks!!!

Wow! Great job! You invested a lot of time putting this together.
@15:55 Shows that the Sansui SP-2500X build years from 1978-79. I have seen a lot of similar info on the build years.
That being said, I purchased four Sansui SP-2500X’s in December 1975. The serial numbers reflects that they were built in October 1975.
    Hope that helps.

I had some SP-X9 speakers when I was a teenager and used to DJ with them at house parties. Those things could go really loud. 100db at 1Watt/1 Meter. Had so much fun with them.
