- The roster of Ninja’s in the Mortal Kombat Pantheon is an admirable one. Our next guest on Lore & Legends is Smoke. One of the most talented member of the Lin Kuei clan of Assassin’s and one with an interesting background yet tragic fate.

I can't believe Smoke wasn't brought back in MK11 would have love Smoke, Sub-Zero and Scorpion as a trio.
I know I’m late but skorpion and sub zero vs noob and smoke would have been lit… probably would have been a whole chunk of a dlc story 🔥

The presentation of Smoke was amazing, a Noble warrior who sacrificed himself for his friend Subzero.
Also the fact that hes Czech makes me proud to be one, honestly love the representation
(Human) Smoke has always been one of my faves. We need him back in the next game.
I totally agree. In MK9 his abilities were explored further, and he wasn't just a Scorpion/Reptile/Sektor copycat, he had his own moves! What I'd like to see is for Smoke to have even more new and creative abilities!
I do like Cyber Smoke too. I liked Triborg Smoke in MKXL but his special moves were too much the same as those of human Smoke in that release. Should Cyber Smoke return in the future I'd like for his special moves to be reasonably distinct from those of human Smoke.
@Richard Davies That's a good point too. His Cyborg version is awesome to. I have Human Smoke in the lead by a small margin lol.
@@machomusprime50 In the future, Cyber Smoke's smoke balls could be replaced with smoke bombs that roll along the ground instead.

Smoke is one of the most important and interesting Character in the Franchise that while he's Ninja Form is my Favorite I like his Cyborg Form as well,I'm disappointed that he didn't return in MK11 like Sektor and Cyrax but maybe he could in MK11 or in a MK Relate Game.
Indeed, Smoke is very mist-erious!
In fact, I think it would make sense for Smoke to have some smoke aura special move(s) when he returns. I'm not altogether sure how they'd work but I think it would be good for him to have.

What do you think of Smoke in the new MK1? I think he's OK, but not as good as MK9 Smoke. I was hoping they'd have done more with him, as the majority of what he does is teleport and turn into smoke.
Smoke is one of the best characters , without a doubt.
Back in the day people made up all kinds of stories for why Smoke was a cyborg and ninja both. This was pre internet days and most of us didnt even look at the intros lol
His parents in Prog probably never got closure on their son’s disappearance. If only they knew the great things he achieved. They would be proud…

Try to imagine if Smoke was brought back by Kronika and then he'd meet his Revenant Enenra in MK11. The former can reunite with Grandmaster Kuai Liang too.

I’m ok with him being a secondary character. Love to see him in another movie.
Were Smoke to return I'm thinking this for his customization: masks, arm bracers, some sort of weapon(s) (maybe smoke axe(s) or smoke chain(s)).
I'm also thinking that his default abilities could be Smoke toward/away, Smoke ball and Shake, like he had in MK9.
I think his base out would be too busted with all that in it
@@trippyjpg7166 Nah. Smoke toward/away is just for defence. Smoke ball is a projectile attack. And shake is just a counter.

He's coming back in MK1. I think he is going to be Hanzo Hasashi. I know that was Scorpion in the current timeline, but there's some evidence that supports this: Bi Han is back as Sub-Zero, and he and Scorpion are actually blood brothers. They welcome Smoke into the family. I think that Smoke will be the one who forms the Shirai Ryu.
His surname is a bit BS. Vrbada as a surname doesn't exist, Vrbata does though.❤
