The Nutty Professor Trailer - Directed by Tom Shadyac and starring Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy, Eddie Murphy. Eddie Murphy stars as shy Dr. Sherman Klump, a kind, brilliant, 'calorifically challenged' genetic professor. I adore this Universal Picture. Jerry actually co-produced this, and I learned an important moral to this.

And these days it rings more true. Image is isn't everything, but having confidence in who you are in your own character is important. It's gets deeper down to the core when you consider that if you want to improve anything in your life, you can do it with confidence and the end result is you'll be happier for it.
I can't tell if that Eddy Murphy or The Weekend
This movie scared the CRAP out of me when I was little. (I was seven when it was released.) I remember I had my eyes closed for most of the runtime; I thought it was more of a horror movie than a comedy.

Eddie Murphy played a bunch of characters in a movie some were females. Idk why but this short reminded me of that movie. It took me way too long to remember who it was in the movie. I don’t remember the name of the movie but it was my favorite as a kid.
I swear to god when I was little I used to think that it was two different people...DAAAYUMN the make up department did an ASTOUNDING job!
This used to really scare me as a kid, I don’t know why, but I watched it again on Netflix and it was still pretty traumatic I couldn’t turn it off though but man comedy was very different back then
You are definitely not alone. The computer scene in the lab scared my kid sh*tless. Years later, I shared that scene with my teenaged daughter (his baby sister) and she refused to watch the whole movie because that ONE scene (lightning flashing, glass breaking, body convulsing, and left crumpled on the floor) shook her right up. No matter how old the person is or how dated the graphics are, some scenes are just intrinsically upsetting. I still watch it every year though!

Even though it was a remake of the 1963 movie and got a sequel in 2000, The Nutty Professor is on my list of '90s movies that should never be remade.
