    Very well made video you can tell you enjoy min maxing the settings. Only confusing part is you mention when using freesync to cap your fps to 3-4 below max monitor Hz but a bit later in your RTSS settings you don't mention that.

      Oops! Thanks for pointing that out! 😅 You're totally right, I did mention capping the FPS 3-4 below the max monitor Hz when using FreeSync, but I didn't address that in the RTSS settings part. My bad! 🙈 I actually don't use FreeSync myself, since I cap my FPS at 250. But I appreciate you catching that, and I'll be more careful next time! Thanks again for your support and for keeping me on my toes! 🙌

    Let's say I am currently on a very low end GPU (low end Polaris) and a low end cpu.
    Should I copy or edit any of the settings? I currently use Anti lag, as an example.
    For context, I get 55-80 fps on valorant and just 50 ish fps on Apex. I play on a 768p monitor

When i play eft i got around 100 fps With 70-80% gpu usage and its capped by the game with 144 fps. Can u give me a good advise for These 2 Games?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před 9 měsíci

      I'm glad you found the guide helpful! CS:GO is a game where higher FPS can lead to lower input latency, even if it exceeds your monitor's refresh rate. Given that you're getting around 320 FPS, you might not want to cap it. You didnt say what is your GPU temperature but GPU usage is in proper values. For EFT: since your FPS fluctuates around 100 and is below your monitor's 240Hz refresh rate, enabling Freesync will be beneficial to smoothen out any potential screen tearing and enable AMD Anti-Lag. This can help in reducing input latency.

    Hey FLowZone. Would you recommend to put upscaling off and antialiasing off in Warzone 2 and then put on AMD fsr on and antialiasing on in Adrenaline? Maybe just keep upscaling from warzone and just put antialiasing on adrenaline with antialiasing off in warzone 2? Looking forward to your answer.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem +1

      In general, it's recommended to experiment with different graphics settings in each game to find what works best for you. However, in the case of Warzone 2 and AMD FSR, it's best to keep the upscaling off in Warzone and turn on AMD FSR in Adrenaline, as FSR is designed to provide a similar visual quality to native resolution while improving performance. As for antialiasing, it's up to personal preference and the game's performance impact. You can try enabling antialiasing in Adrenaline and disabling it in Warzone, or vice versa, to see which gives you the best balance of visual quality and performance.

    I have a question. I play rocket league and for some reason I do get jagged lines/edges and feels as if my game isn’t as smooth. I have decent specs - 5600x, 6650xt, 32gb ram which is I think 3200 and my monitor is also 1080p. Is this due to having maybe super resolution enabled or image sharping?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem

      Hi there! Image sharpening is definitely not the cause of the issue you're experiencing. As for the jagged lines and game not feeling smooth, it's possible that AMD Super Resolution could be causing the problem. Since you're already playing at 1080p, which is your monitor's native resolution, you don't need to use Super Resolution. I would recommend disabling it, as it could be the source of the issue. Super Resolution should only be used when you need to upscale to a higher resolution than your monitor's native resolution.

    • @flintfrommother3gaming
      @flintfrommother3gaming Před rokem

      @@FlowGamingZone Super Resolution is an anti-aliasing solution. A very great one at that too. It shouldn't be disabled because of jagged edges because it's not the reason.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem +1

      @@flintfrommother3gaming I would have to disagree. Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) is not an anti-aliasing solution. It is a feature that allows the GPU to render games at a higher resolution than the native resolution of the display and then downscale it to the native resolution of the display. The purpose of RSR is to improve image quality and provide a better gaming experience by enhancing details and reducing jagged edges. However, it can also cause performance issues and compatibility problems with certain games. Enabling Super Resolution can cause jagged edges if the game is not optimized for the higher resolution or if the GPU is not powerful enough to handle the increased workload.

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem

      Hi! Your ASUS monitor may be G-Sync compatible, but AMD graphics cards like your RX 6950 XT use a technology called FreeSync. The good news is that many G-Sync monitors also support FreeSync, so you should check if your specific model does. If it is FreeSync compatible, you can enable FreeSync in your AMD Radeon settings for smoother gameplay. Regarding your FPS, if you're consistently hitting below the refresh rate of your monitor, you're in a good spot and shouldn't experience any tearing or stuttering. Just make sure VSync is turned off in your game settings to avoid any potential input lag.

      Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in NVIDIA drivers, but I suggest starting with the simplest solution: using DDU to uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers, followed by updating your motherboard chipset and cleaning your Windows, doing all updates, reseting shader cache. If these steps don't help, you may need to consider reinstalling Windows. This is not normal for 3060. It all should run well.

      Have you performed a clean driver installation with DDU? Is your RAM running at its full speed with XMP profile? Have you removed shader cache? Try disabling all features in the graphics tab of the Adrenaline software. @@Verkro it's a bit unusual that the 1280x960 resolution isn't available for you, as it's a standard 4:3 resolution. However, since you're looking to create a custom resolution, you can indeed use the AMD Adrenaline software to do so. Regarding the CVT-RB sync standard, it's generally considered a good option, but the best choice may vary depending on your specific hardware.
      As for GPU scaling, when playing at a resolution that's different from your monitor's native resolution, it's recommended to enable GPU scaling. This will help ensure that the image is displayed correctly and maintains the aspect ratio you desire for your gaming experience. However, with a greater number of games incorporating Nvidia Reflex into their engines, Nvidia does seem to have a slight edge in this aspect. So, leaning towards Nvidia might be fair.

Both HDMI and DP are widely used display interfaces and are generally compatible with modern monitors and graphics cards. However, using a DP connection can offer advantages such as higher refresh rates, higher resolutions, and support for adaptive sync technologies like AMD FreeSync. DP is known for its robustness in transmitting video and audio signals over longer distances. As long as your monitor has a DP input and your graphics card has a DP output, you can connect them using a DP cable without any problems. Just ensure that both devices have compatible ports, and you should be good to go.

      - Consider using DDU to uninstall the current AMD drivers. After that, download the latest drivers from the AMD website and install them.
      - Check your GPU temperature. Overheating can cause GPU down throttling and it can lead to system crash. Use a program like HWiNFO64 to monitor your GPU temperature while gaming.
      - Check your power supply. Insufficient power supply can cause the GPU to fail. Make sure that your power supply is adequate for your system and that all the cables are properly connected.

    Does clearing the shader cash on the adrenaline software clear the cash on all games or should you also clear the shader cash on the individual game?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem

      When you clear the shader cache through the AMD Radeon Adrenalin software, it typically clears the cache for all the games and applications that use the AMD GPU. However, some games also have their own shader cache systems, and clearing the cache through the AMD software might not affect these game-specific caches.
      If you suspect that a particular game's shader cache is causing issues, it may be a good idea to clear the game's shader cache separately. This option can usually be found in the game's settings or configuration files. It's also possible that there's a game-specific tool or launcher option to clear the shader cache. It some cases you have to delete specific folder in game directory but you would have to google that specific game.

      It can be challenging to determine the exact cause of the FPS drop, as there could be various factors involved. It might be due to chipset drivers, a game update affecting performance, incorrect RAM speed settings, or something else entirely. To troubleshoot the issue, consider checking and updating your chipset drivers, rolling back to a previous game version if possible, and verifying your RAM speed settings in the BIOS. Keep in mind that there may be multiple factors at play, so investigating each potential cause is crucial. i have a 1440p monitor is enabling radeon super resolution going to help me get more fps?

    • @FlowGamingZone
      @FlowGamingZone  Před rokem

      Yes, enabling Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) can potentially help you achieve higher FPS in your games. RSR is a feature that renders the game at a lower resolution and then upscales it to match your monitor's native resolution. This reduces the workload on your GPU, which can lead to higher frame rates. However, it's important to note that the use of RSR may cause a decrease in image quality since the game is being rendered at a lower resolution. The degree of quality loss can vary depending on the game and the extent of the resolution reduction. If you're struggling with achieving satisfactory frame rates at your monitor's native 1440p resolution and you're willing to sacrifice some image quality for better performance, RSR could be a viable option. On the other hand, if your system is already running games smoothly at 1440p, maintaining RSR off for optimal image quality might be your best choice.

      Hello! Hitting 120 FPS in Warzone with your setup does seem relatively low, and it's possible that something might be amiss. To investigate further, it would be helpful to know the specific graphics settings and resolution you're using in Warzone. Additionally, ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for both your GPU and your Ryzen 9 3900X CPU. If you haven't already, I recommend installing the latest AMD chipset drivers for your CPU as well.
      While upgrading to a higher-end CPU like the Ryzen 9 5900X or 5950X could potentially provide a performance boost, it's important to consider that the increase in FPS might not be significant if other factors such as graphics settings or system limitations are at play. On average, the performance gain from upgrading to a higher-end CPU would be around 20% to 25%.
      I suggest checking and optimizing your in-game graphics settings, ensuring that you have the latest drivers installed, and monitoring your GPU and CPU usage while gaming to identify any potential issues or bottlenecks. Also check the XMP profile in BIOS if Your RAMs are running at full speed.
