    Love your channel man!!!! I grew up on a farm and worked for our local farmers for 30 years. Everything from hay to potatoes to radishes and carrots. My parents had beef cattle. I have lived in the city the last 7 years but you can never take the country out of the boy. Please keep the videos coming!!!! Much love.

    Amazing to see how it's done,
    We feed 1050 cows all outside on pasture, when we are short on pasture we can then supplement with grass silage or maize silage

    Thanks for another great video! Do you grow and and bale the alfalfa and Bermuda there on the farm? That’s great you use so much stuff that would go to land fill otherwise, and using the refusal to feed out beef calves is a win win for both parties, that’s pretty cool you get to work along side your father everyday at such a nice farm! Keep up the great work! 🥛 🐄 👍👋

    It's amazing how those computerized feeding systems save on waste. Instead of feeding off a sheet. How much do you think you've saved by switching to the computer system? Also bakery is the devil. I hauled alot of it in a hopper bottom that stuff packs in tight. How long does it take to completely feed everything?

    • @vanderhamfarms8148
      @vanderhamfarms8148  Před 2 lety +3

      I'm not sure as to how much we've saved since we've been using this system for a while but it does speed up the process of feeding and also ensures that our tmr is the exact same mix every time!
