I LOVE how you just get right into the video!!! Iâll never mind an intro from a creator, but my ADHD brain thrives when you just start talking about the topic at hand!!
Iâm the opposite. It makes me cringe đ I try to skip it everytime.
it reminds me of Taylor Wynn's intros (not the music part) and her outro reminds me of Allana Davison's lol
I think the beauty blender is your preference because itâs broken in đ Iâm glad there is a much more budget friendly option. Thanks
iâm definitely ordering the real techniques sponge, because i know iâm going to LOVE IT!!! and once itâs broken in, itâll probably feel just as good as the beauty blender puff. thank you so much for the video!!! đđđ
Love that you did this. Iâve yet to be disappointed by Real Techniques
5:10 I wish we could see a sped up version of you putting on your makeup! As a beginner, this would help me figure out what you do day-to-day. Love you, Allie! đ€đ©·
Tati was rly ahead of her time!! (I know thereâs been puffs for ages but, still.) The style and everything. Now I wish Iâd tried hers just to know cuz I love to set my concealer with a puff.
I was thinking the same
I can't remember who, I think it might have been tati actually, turned me onto cheaper Amazon powder puffs but I LOVE them for foundation and concealer. Especially setting powder!
My preferred for powder foundation and the more creamy ones (or well most makeup) though is those oval sponge nonlatex silicone puffs, ulta sells a really nice big oval one it's soooo nice and is perfect under eyes better than triangle corners for me because I have deep inset cheekbones towards my eyes so the round bit gets in there waaay better than even most blenders. It's like $3, the best 3 I've ever spent. I'd buy multiple for different types of makeup.
I wish I could get the blendiful now, boy, if I could go back in time!
My blendiful is cherished and I almost donât use it cos I never want to lose it. đ it makes everything so smooth and blurred.
Iâd love a review of the Elf puff vs the Beauty Blender
Whatever you did to your hair color, itâs really BEAUTIFUL! Not a big change but just a perfect tweak. Thanks for another great video.
Wow Iâm really curious about the Real Techniques one! Thank you for your honesty!â€ïžâșïž
Your hair looks more amazing in todayâs video â€ïžâ€ïž
Thank you đ„čâ€ïž
Hi Iâm wondering if the beauty blender is slightly softer because itâs slightly older and been lovingly used âŠâŠâŠ. Itâd be interesting to see your views on a brand new one of each blender as fabrics soften up with use /wear. Fab video again, have a wonderful day x
The beauty blender puff is baby soft from the get go. The quality is there. The price point is justified since it's washable and lasts for a quite a while.
Love the nail polish today Allie!
Im really loving the wavey hair Allie, so pretty đ€do you have any specific hair care routine tips and tricks you could share with us?
Hi Allie!!!! Thxs for all the videos you post!!! đđ
Thank you for this dupe. I'll be looking for the real techniques sponge. Can't wait to try it.
Omg your hair! Love
Love your hair today! Im always pleased with my RT products â€
The waves in your hair are so pretty đ !
I NEEDED THIS VIDEO!! I have 2 of the beauty blender ones and LOVE them so obviously was going to have to buy the real techniques one to compare⊠you saved me that cash AND taught me I can use both sides of the BB one and wash it in the washing machine. đ€Ż DOING THE LORDS WORK!!! THANK YOU ALLIE!! đ
She sure is đ€Ł!
Hi Allie, would love a dupes video đâ€ïž your hair looks so pretty
I think I need to get the RT one as I am still on a low buy year! Your hair is really cute today đ
I absolutely love the Beauty Blender puff. It is SO SO soft from the get go. The price point is worth it to me b/c of the quality, performance, and it is washable and reusable. I have had mine for I wanna say four months now and it is still as good as new. Totally worth the investment!!
Totally agree. The quality of the beauty blender puff makes it worth it for me, especially if I get it on sale. Ive had mine for 2 years now and it still looks great. Iâm willing to try the real techniques version though to see if itâs also good quality
Definitely going to have to pick up thus sponge/puff! Thanks for the reviewâ€
Iâve been intrigued with the puffs but didnât want to fork out $18! I think Iâll try the RT one first đ„° thank you for this video, Allie!!
Mine just shipped! Hope I love it!
Thanks Allie for sharing.đșđșđș
I love your hair Allie. You look beautiful â„ïž
Yay thank you! For me Iâm looking for one to set my eyes and face and if it works just as good Iâll try the more affordable option first
I will definitely check out the Real Techniques powderpuff!
Omg your hair!!!!! đđđđ
I haven't used a different puff since I bought 6 of the tati beauty blinders, I have opened up and used only 2 of them and I hand wash them and there still usable whenever I go through the rest of them at least I know that there are good options out there. Love your channel from Arizona stay safe stay healthy stay cool đ
Thank you for another wonderful review
3:59 I was planning to also use it to blend cream contour
Try the Essence one! â€
Have tryed severel but keeper camping back to the beauti blender one, its just bestâ€
Hi Allie, I did not know about the new sponge/puff so I think I will try it. I got my second order from Colourpop so far this month and thank you so much for introducing me to them. I can not tell you how much I have gotten from them so your bag collection really is handy for me. I have enjoyed this video and we love you too Allie.đđđđžđșđčđđ
Yea I love my beauty blender sponge
Elf has a puff now that I bought for $4 - I'd love to hear your review about it!
Well whatâs your review?!? †does it have the same features?
How do you like the Elf one?
Love the waves Allie very summery đđ
I bought this sponge and havenât had a chance to use it. I look forward to trying the sponge-like side more than the powder puff.
Already look gorgeous at the beginning đ
The BB one is amazing itâs worth it IMO
I got the Beauty Blender one at the last sale at Sephora & Iâm waiting for a coupon or sale to grab another. My under eyes are soooo sensitive (I have eye conditions that require the use of eye drops several times a day) & I use such little power there that I wanted the softest & most precise little tool I could find to apply it.
Hi Allie! What lip combo are you wearing ?
What eye shadow did you use. Beautiful look!!
I have the beauty blender puff. I bought it a while ago when I happened to see it on sale in Sephora. I was not even looking for a puff that day but am so happy I got it. I love that tool and am amazed that you are the only one I see using it. Not even interested in trying the real techniques because I can see how plushier and soft the BB one is even on camera. I have washed mine many times and it keeps up just as new - so the price per wear or in this case per use - turns out to be pennies, in my opinion. Would be curious to see if the real techniques holds up as well. Thanks for comparing them â€
I put my sponges etc in a delicates laundry bag after rinsing most of the product out
Wow, your hair is so beautiful! You should leave it down more often. Love the review and comparison. Iâve wanted to try one of these for a while
Hi Allie! Love you and I hope you are having a wonderful day â€
The powder puff from LH Cosmetics is absolute perfection for anyone (especially those in Europe) who prefers to apply powder with one & for working MUAâs. Although it is larger the BB puff, itâs $5 less for one & she often has sales on sets of 3. The only difference is there is no "sponge" side for creams, but Iâve used mine for both since I can toss the whole thing in the wash or remove the inside sponge & sanitize it & the cover thoroughly. Just another "poof" option to be aware of â€!
I do love the Beauty blender puff, i didn't know RT was coming out with a puff
The BB one is so soft and luxe feeling .. plus you can wash it . I always wash my puffs triangle ones Laura ones and all the ones we have from Amazon. I probably would buy the RT ones cuz Iâm curious đâ€
Can you let us know how you washed the beauty blender puff and how it holds up?
Iâve not seen a puff that is close to the feel of the beauty blender puff. I saw Babs beauty use it first and she loved it. I bought one right after
I love my blender puff. Iâve tried not to be so snobby about it but it really is not comparable (yet). since I tend to only use for my finishing powder step I can use it for a very long time before having to replace (I think I got my first for free in a gift box and had it for like 2-3 years before I had to get another)
What's the difference between using loose powder with a brush than with a powder puff? Greetings from Germany đ
I actually used to LOVE the beauty blender puff and I have multiples of it, but actually this year I bought the LH cosmetics puff and I actually prefer that over the beauty blender puff. The LH cosmetics one has much sharper point that really allows me to get into the crevices around my eyes and I started to feel with the beauty blender puff, that because it is so âfluffyâ I wasnât able to really push the powder on to my skin properly, but it would more just lay the powder on top and not melt it into the foundation⊠I donât know, I just grew out of love with the Beauty blender one and now Iâm obsessed with the LH cosmetics puff
Thank you for confusing me more! đ 3 different ones?? I am SOOOO out of touch!đźđ€ŠđŒââïž
Whatâs LH?
@myfavoritethings2023 From what I could find, HL (Holy Land) cosmetics is a European brand that ships worldwide. Don't know if that helps or not.....
It's Linda Halberg's brand, "LH cosmetics".
I wonder if you can use the velvet side with liquid. I did that with Tati's puff and loved the results
Well Iâm interested now! Wasnât before and hadnât thought about it. Now I must! Thanks a lot! đ
Now what I need is a Blendiful dupe đ
Did you use a waver or curling iron for this beautiful look
Cool video. I havenât seen a compare video on powder puffs before. Is it the same as the Halo beauty puff or Laura Mercier puff?
Does the ELF one compare too?
I love the Beauty Blender too⊠I bought it on a whim and I canât imagine not having it now.. đ đ
I have the beauty blender, I think the thickness might make it feel better on the skin, I will probably get the real technique one, prior to buying the beauty blender I had the Amazon triangle ones and they worked well, but the beauty blender one is very nice.
Unrelated but your hair looks beautifulđđđ
Curious how they compare to the Blendiful?
Lol I have the beauty blender one I first tried it years ago when I got in a sephora favourites set, I actually donât use the sponge side I prefer using the velvet side for creams as well so I just have two of themâŠI think the beauty blender one is a wonderful replacement for the Tati beauty blendiful
Thank you for the video. Have you tried the rose and Ben puff. Wondering if it is worth the price. I would try both puffs in this video
RT rocks!
Have you tried the ELF halo puff?
I wanted to try the elf puff but it was sold out. I bought the Beauty Blender & like it a loy
I definitely use a padded soft puff for my powder, I have very oily skin and just think this sets my base a lot nicer compared to a brush. I wouldn't need the spongy side though, since I always use a damp sponge for foundation anyway. I like puffs more that have two velvety sides, so I can use them longer before I have to wash them. Still on the hunt for a good affordable one though, I bought the essence puff several times, which is fine in regards of usage, but the seams rip every single time you throw it in the washing machine and that's pretty annoying and expensive on the long run.
If someone has recommendations for good bouncy powder puffs, that are affordable and last a long time, please, I need them đ.
How much better is the RT one than your standard amazon one??
Iâm personally a fan of the trigwell cosmetic puffs which seem to have most of the UK market in a chokehold. It doesnât have a sponge side, just velvet on both sides and it so ridiculously soft.
Not sure how available it is in the US though, I personally got mine off beauty bay. Itâs priced in closer to the real techniques puff but itâs only available in packs of 2 on beauty bay so you do end up paying a little more in the end.
I have a question: do you need to wet the sponge like with the original Beauty Blender or Real Techniques sponges? Or do you use them dry? Somehow, Iâve seen you and a few others use it but never got the wet/dry thing figured out đ
Hey Allie. I saw one by Essence which is available in SouthAfrica. Would you consider testing it? Thanks â€ïž
I donât think there exactly like these .. but have you tried the essence or elf puffs?
What is your lipstick ?
I LoVe the beautyblender one SO MUCH that I wonât try another one rn - thereâs just no need to đđ»đđ»Iâm sure the RT one is well and fine and good đ but BB is for me đ
Hey Allie! Love this video, and I have to tell you, I have no experience with either puff. That said, I'd probably be fine with the Real Techniques version, because I haven't been spoiled by he more expensive one. But I have a friend who, when she heard how my mom used to make her own face puffs with fabric remnants years ago, started making her own version, which she sells to friends and family for just a few dollars apiece. Well, she sells them to everyone but me - mine are free; she says it's her way of paying "royalties" for the design idea (which I never asked for). She just leaves a few new ones, in a ziploc bag, in my car every time I drive us to lunch. I put them in a zipper mesh lingerie bag for laundry day, no fabric softener in the load, and no dryer time needed; if I just spread them out flat on a paper towel, they airdry overnight. So it's always a nice time every time I use one, and I'm truly grateful for these wonderful little tools. Thanks for the video!
I just bought some triangle puffs from Amazon that Emily Noel recommended. I would definitely consider the Real Techniques, though. Like another viewer mentioned, I've yet to be disappointed by RT.
I have both and I love them both. I wonât repurchase the beauty blender one since the RT is the except same and does the except same.
Great video. I'm going for the $6.00 one because it do the same for less.â€
Forgot to comment, but your hair looks lovely. Had no idea your hair was so long. Saw the length of your hair in your last video.
đźit can go in the machine? Mind blown!
Hi Allie!
I prefer the beauty blender bc of the softness and the way it feels on my skin. I will admit I haven't tried the dupe- but I am so happy with the beauty blender that I wouldn't waste the 6.00. đ€ I think the beauty blender is worth every penny of the 18.00.
Thanks for always being such an honest reviewer Allie. I love that i can always trust you to do that!
Have a great weekend!đđ
A new huck. Use your puff dump for Creamy products. Blande fantastico
I never got the Blendaful, but I wished I did. It should of been the best? 7:39
Beauty Blender does make more expensive products but honestly my beauty blender sponge canât be beat, I wash and take care of it and itâs worth the money to me and they last and are so soft and amazing. I have found nothing as good.
I went to my local drugstore almost immediately after watching this. Unfortunately, it's not there yet.
The comparison would be more fair if both were brand new
For a third of the price I think real technique is the one to go for đđŒ thanks for the video!
I feel like so much of my liquid foundation stayed on my RT 2 in 1 sponge.
The best best beautiful is Tati's blendiful.
Hey Allie
Hello! â€ïž
I would like to buy the beauty blender and I almost bought it. But now thereâs a similar beauty blender for more affordable price and gets the same results I think đ€ Iâll go with the more affordable one for now.
What is the difference in longevity? Maybe the Beauty Blender last much longer.
I washed my Beautyblender and it fell apart that is how I know there is a silicone pad inside it. They came out with this so long ago I cannot believe that people just caught on this past year. When they came out they didn't do well, and they sold them 1/2 price on the Beautybleander site I bought several.
I love when you wear your hair down.
Hallo Allie, now I am very intrigued. ... Hm hmhm mmm... Me đ driving over to Ulta to buy both now đ. After I bought the stansout sponge my other sponges just sit there saying hey pick me pick me... As if they come to life like toy story đ. Let's see if my bin of puffs get ignored.
