    2020 Gladiator Rubicon with 37000 miles. No issues at all. Went and retorqued all my front end after 6 mths. Proper care and maintenance goes a long way avoiding problems. Greatest vehicle I ever owned!!

    The Silver one on fire is mine. It's an automatic. The dealer installed two new batteries because the start/stop no longer functioned. It caught a fire a few miles after leaving the dealer. It was the first time the start/ stop activated. The motor stopped and smoke started coming out. I opened the hood and the power cable was glowing red.

    I'm on my 7th Wrangler. Only one I had issues with was my 2002. It's not just a Jeep thing. There will be issues with all brands of vehicles. Lots of one off's and such. If it's brand wide there will likely be a recall.

    3 plus years and absolutely no issues. It gets offroaded some, long freeway drives and city traffic. Im sure some have issues however i have had no problems. I love it and would buy another.

    I have a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with the 3.6L gas engine and 8 speed automatic transmission. So far no issues at all. I have 10,000 miles on it and drive it daily. Been offroad with it many times and some of the offroading was pretty extreme. I've taken my Gladiator places I wouldn't have taken or not able to have taken my previous trucks, ie 2014 RAM 2500 6.4 hemi 4x4, 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3L 4x4, 1985 Dodge RAM Power Wagon with 12" of lift and 44" ground hawg mud tires. This thing rides and drives better than all of those. This vehicle is no different than any other vehicle made in the last 2 to 3 years. It all falls back on the people assembling them. Their workmanship and "Work Ethics" have been crap. And I wouldn't buy anything made today because the work ethics of people are crap even more now.

    The fire 🔥 on the Gladiators in the video 📼 are from which powertrain and engine types? We're the fires from the diesel turbo engines? I'd get the Jeep JT as long its within the manufacturers warranty to be fixed or replaced. Plus, the lemon law will come into play from the faulty damages too.

    • @gsgcarreviews
      @gsgcarreviews  Před rokem

      I've heard of a few people finally getting replacement or reimbursed for lemon law. At first it was tough because Jeep was not acknowledging their faults

  • @robertrobinson526
    @robertrobinson526 Před 9 měsíci +2

    There are over 250k Gladiators on the road, but you're telling people to avoid them based on 52 people you found having major problems. Thats way too small of a percentage of owners to get any kind of accurate statistics. Id imagine you could easily find just as many people saying to avoid Ford, Chevy, and pretty much any other brand because of major issues they've had.

    I would attach a photo if I could, our 2022 Jeep Gladiator purchased Feb last year, automatic transmission/gas engine, parked six days, went up in flames in our driveway last month. It had less than 1,800 miles on it.

    I had bump steer issues just after putting 35 inch Milestar MT tires on my JT. I put the Synergy Track bar and sector shaft brace bracket, as I replaced the aluminum steering box with the steel box, and had the hydraulic steering pump software upgraded as per TSB. I had also gotten an alignment done, and found the toe angle was out from the factory. I am just over 57,000 km on my JT Rubicon, 3.6 Pentastar engine, 8 speed automatic transmission, and am getting a tie rod movement on the passenger side. Up till now I enjoy the vehicle and would recommend it. I previously had a JT Sport S, with the 2 inch Mopar lift, and wished I had kept it, and just refinanced the vehicle, with the install of Dana 60 bolt on axles, with elockers, and 5.38 gearing. For all the non Rubicon JTs that is the best way to go. I drive mostly in city commuting, but go into the Rockies to hike, ski, and ice climb. I upgraded the Dana 44 axles to 5.13 gearing last spring, and have proper speed calibrated on the speedometer, and have eigth gear back for highway driving, and power to drive in the high altitude mountains. I am averaging 14.7 litres per 100 km (16-18 mpg).

    I have a 2022 jeep gladiator with less than 5k . I did have the miss fire issues started with the first 27 miles of purchase . I took it to the dealership and they fixed the problem so I thought. I bought a blue driver scan tool and plugged it in and load and behold the miss fire codes are still there. I love my jeep but man jeep gots to get it together. I'm on my second jeep . My last jeep I traded for the gladiator because it had problems with the paint rust going through the paint. My next step is trading in the gladiator for something that is not jeep .

    Clickbait? This is not accurate at all. Jeeps are heavily modified vehicles and not everyone has the cash to do it properly. I’m not surprised weird things will happen. Where is yours? Instead of bashing vehicles you don’t own why not take the time and go to the trail? Talk to Jeep owners see what they say and experience. Jeep is the most loved brand for a reason.

    • @gsgcarreviews

      My research started with my client who expressed all the issues he's had. Since then I've personally interacted with 175 people that each told me their story. As mentioned in the video 52 of which experienced major issues while others experienced minor to no issues at all.
      I'm not saying it isn't a fun and kickass vehicle to own but I can directly send you to at least 10 people that have faced issues within 5k miles. All of which haven't modified their cars in anyway (unless you consider a rubber duck on the dash a modification). Let's assume most did add lifted suspension and tire size, how can that result in needing an entire engine swap? Please explain.
