- You guys! NEW large family grocery haul video! Yay!! :) We've had some large family van difficulties, so that has put a damper on my big family shopping. However, I made it work and still managed to get out in my husband's truck for a one week large family grocery haul - whew!

I love seeing your big grocery hauls, even just the ones for one week! They make even the large ones for our family that I film seem so small in comparison, I don't know how you do it! You are so good at organizing all of that and keeping everything together. Good luck on the selling and buying. :)

So happy to have a video from you again. Have missed your encouraging voice. So neat how The Lord has slowed down the house hunting options a bit for you right at holiday time so you can focus on family and the Reason for the season :) all in His time. Thought of you the other week at sharp shopper with my 6/$1 kids yogurts. :)
Bananas dont last long in our home, they tend to go bad before the end of the month... but if I can get a good deal on them then I go ahead and buy enough for the month (or longer). We use what we can, then right before they start going bad I line the freezer with wax paper, split the bananas in half, freeze for about an hour and then put them in a large freezer bag. It is great to use in smoothies or to make a quick banana ice cream with. I freeze grapes too and the kids love it in the summer time as an extra cool treat that is healthy.
I found a house recently not even looking to move, I talked to my sister she is a realtor out of state. She said spring time. Best time to sell your home. With finding that house for sale, I was worried about selling the one I live in now. I have never done it.....I wish you guys the best of luck home hunting. I'm glad to see you back!

Hi! Glad to see you back again! Missed seeing your videos as always! At least you'll probably get a break from people looking at your home because that can be tiring! We had tried to sell our old home in 2007 during the recession and we got over 200 showings with no offers so that was tiring to always keep the house in "showing" condition. All good things come to those who wait plus another bonus is at least you're not in the middle of a move during the holidays so you can always find a positive in everything! See you tomorrow! 😘

Oh my gosh my heart goes out to you! I could only wish to have a family this big one day. I've been watching a few of your video's and i'm about to subscribe, but i just wanted to say, do not throw your cans out! Even if they're approaching their sell by date. As long as they have no rust, and look perfectly fine, they will last almost 15 years plus, after that little date. Granted, if you done it so that other people could enjoy the things your family may not have been eating at the time, that is wonderful of you. Nevertheless, a big hello from wales uk.

Great video! I have a tip for the cornbread: If you're using a cast iron skillet to cook your cornbread, heat it in the oven first and spray a bit of cooking spray (or rub butter) inside before pouring your batter in. My grandmother taught us all to do this, & it's how I'm teaching my girls. we also fry the cornbread aometimes. So good!
I would put in butter or bacon grease. Quit a bit really.
I was so confused to get a CZcams notification from your new channel name. Glad to see it was you.On the house thing, I totally understand about things just not moving/not being right. We have just added 2 little people to our house (for 6 total humans, but we count our big dog too as he often travels with us) so we needed to up size our vehicle; actually that is how I found you. I was searching for large family vehicle options a few months back and saw your video on your van. We were looking and hoping for options to come available to us, nothing was working and we were discovering how cramped and inconvenienced we were in our existing 6-seater. Zero chance of grocery shopping when my husband had all 4 kids with him, and not much better with only the twins.Ultimately a solution finally popped up, a used vehicle 1.5 hours away, I didn't even jump on it initially. But the day I got an e-mail that the price had dropped for a 3rd time, bringing it much closer to our price range, we decided to make the trip to see it and see how much we could negotiate. It turns out they were willing to offer us much more than we thought for our existing vehicle trade in and we were suddenly the owners of a new vehicle that is perfect for us.It will happen!

Love that wheat flour and bread flour. Bread flour makes such better bread! try English muffin bread sometime. it's great for toast with breakfast or a snack.

Hey friend! So glad to see another video! I miss seeing you and your beautiful family. Thanksgiving was nice and quiet here. Working 2 jobs and OT on the first job, been very busy and hectic. OT will run thru Feb 15th. 😞. And it only started a Nov 2nd. If I didn't have 2 jobs, it would be a blessing. I'm thankful for my jobs, (don't get me wrong) just overwhelmed and sooooo tired. Thankful to God for His grace, love and mercy. Even if I don't comment on every video, know that I watch them and enjoy them all! I make my own corn bread as well. I just use the recipe from the back of the Quaker corn meal container. It's a brand name, but it tastes yummy and oh so moist! Definitely a vast difference from Jiffy. Until next time friend 😊.

We use Amazon Subscribe and Save, but I really like boxed.com better. Also, we purchased a bread machine about a month ago and we love it. We make all our own bread now which saves us freezer space. I understand your house showing and looking fatigue. We sold a house in July it took only 5 days to sell. Then quickly found one to purchase. We were in the new house for 2 weeks and realized it was not the right house for us so back on the market it went and we sold it and will be moving again next month! Will be happy to have another move over. God Bless.

I have found large things of yeast at both Costco and WalMart that is vaccume packed and alot cheaper per ounce then the jar. I just dump it in a jar keep it in the fridge. I use it often and it last about six months. Looking forward to seeing more of your great videos.

Howdy from a Momma of 6. I used to (prior to moving south) do a once a month trip to sams and walmart but have gotten away from it since we moved. The closest (expensive) grocery store is 20 min, the closest walmart is 40 min and sams is an hour and a half. I need to plan that monthly trip to Sams again though. It really does help keep costs down. I do alot of baking bread and making my own laundry dtg and cleaners etc as much as possible. I homeschool as well. Love your videos. I will ask you what I constantly get asked, Any more babies in the future for you? I'd love more myself but who knows! 😆
Glad to see you back! I love using Amazon Subscribe and Save for gluten free flours - I can get the Pamela's baking mix and bread flour for cheaper and it's delivered right to my door. Can't beat that!
