- WELCOME back to my BIG FAMILY FOOD Shopping for our growing large family of 11! I do my cheap discount shopping for groceries at Sharp Shopper, then grab my Walmart pick-up order. This is more of a "fill-in" grocery haul for more fresh fruits and vegetables, some treats that will be spread out over 4 to 6 weeks, and other big family food we need for upcoming large family recipes, etc! You'll see some needed milk, bread, a "small" amount of bananas đ & more.
If you're new here, I'm 41 and pregnant with baby number 9. My husband and I have been married over 22 years. Out of our 8 children out and about, 7 children home full-time & homeschooling full-time ages 3 1/2 through almost 18 (it's our 16th year of homeschooling). My husband and I are both home full-time (you can read about our large family income here âą đ”LARGE FAMILY INCOME: ... because I get asked about our income often), so that makes 9 about to be 10 again home and eating full-time at home all day every day for years. Our oldest is an adult now and eats his own food đ. But as an example I'm feeding 13 people dinner tomorrow, so feeding 9 to 13 most days is normal life around here!

Jamerrill I just love how gentle you talk to yourself. Iâve definitely learned so much from you over the years. In fact I think that God has definitely used your ministry to encourage my heart, without Him doing that in my life I probably would have given up on homeschooling. I get a little twinge of nostalgia whenever you say, "It's already gone!" about different items. Raised four sons, so long ago...and often, I wondered why I even put certain things away in a cupboard, because "It's already gone!" LoLoLoL! Just love your channel and hope you are doing well. Please donât let anyone shade you for treats for the kids. True story, my sons elementary school was down the street from our house. Several days, I donât know why but nature called as the boys were coming home. So........... there I am doing my thing and 10-14 kids would run into the bathroom. HEY MOM WHAT YOU GOT! So I threw down my book and went into the freezer and gave everyone a push-up popsicle. 20 years later I was at a Home Depot and the cashier recognized me started to cry, I loved coming to your house. You always had stuff to eat. Never let others judge you.
Here here! Same here on the weekends I would have a house full of boys & teenagers. It's amazing how much they can eat while practicing gun drills for ROTC competitions or just playing as with the younger ones. I was always baking or whipping up something so they wod have snacks handy. They are all grown now & I miss the baking I use to do.đ€«đ€đđđâ€â€â€đđđ

My daughter doesnt buy many treats for her children. I keep plenty for them in my pantry. Itâs the first place they hit when they visit. đ
I used to feed my sons friends when they came to visit, usually Sunday ( roast beef, potatoes etc) thank god I had an electric food slicer, fast forward 30 years they still kept in touch, even carried my sons coffin when he died.

I can totally relate. I am recovering from being hospitalized for pneumonia and covid. And I have just been adding a little each day. Today was my first really "decent" day. I'll be praying for you as you continue to recover.

Im so happy to see you look so much better. Heres a tip that really works: store your unopened sour cream or yogurt or dips upside down. This ensures a good seal and you can extend the best by dates a month or so longer. Been doin this for years. Keep takin good care of yourself Momma đ
You look radiant, Jamerrill! As "retired" RNs, we both know the magical moment when we suddenly find that our patients (and we ourselves) wake up and feel restored!! The human body is always trying to heal. Slow and easy is such a good plan til your wee one is born...and, afterwards, too!!!! Love to you and your family.
I totally agree, Judy. And Iâm trying to behave myself, ha ha. I do feel a big change in my energy, which Iâm thankful for. I am still regular âthird trimester tired,â but the kidney infection is gone by all the tests. Iâm only filming the equivalent of two days a week and spending lots of time reading in my PJs otherwise. đđ»â€ïž
I really appreciate that teenager snack requests haven't changed all that much since I was a teen in the 00's! Oatmeal pies and Brisk, kid has good taste! đ
I am always impressed how your focus is on doing what is best for your kids and Travis. Despite your infection/hospital stay you think of their needs. I never had a mother like that... your kids are happy, strong and healthy. A credit to you and Travis. Rest up if you need to... we will be here. But you come first, Jamerrill!

Just a suggestion what if you made Zion a room in the basement and you used his room as a pantry for your pots and potatoe baskets and what ever else
Yes, we have TON of options with this 4200+ sq foot house. I'm actually holding out to have the garage remodeled into a HUGE big family kitchen....then refinish the basement etc, etc, etc. Working hard to get the house paid off first. We cash flow projects so things take us longer. Currently working on more fencing. It'll all happen in good time. xoxo đ

I wish I lived closer and could supply you with a few freezer meals for when the baby comes. Hopefully all those times you cooked for others will come back to you tenfold. I know you have a lot of awesome help with Travis and the kids, still is nice to open the freezer and have a few shelves of oven ready meals. Move to Indiana!!

I have one of those metal racks- a gift from my daughter, I used mine for towels. Your ideas are great though- the pans on the shelves near the kitchen island will be better. Put some kind of brown wrapping paper or foil to line the racks so the onions etc donât make a mess on the floor, that way each time you stock up you can just lift the foil sheet out and empty the debris into the garbage- anything to make life easier right? Lol

I read the â Spooky old treeâ to my son and he reads it to his children. It was his favorite. Good memories.
My mom read the spooky old tree to me and my siblings when we were young. I read it to my daughters who are now 17 and 12, and when I went to see my mom the other day she was reading it to my 3 year old niece.

We spent the summer in Philly and drove over an hour THREE TIMES to sharp shopper and yes I was looking for those Naked juices deals bc of your previous videos! I was over the moon with my big pregnant self buying up all the green machine and mango protein I could! My kids LOVE THEM and all the other snack and ice cream deals as well!

Was diagnosed with Lupus recently so all in all so many health issues makes sense now. But getting of topic, i was extremely depressed and just slept the whole time. Your cooking and preparing meals made me lift my bum and get cooking!!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter. I, myself, drank one and a half to two gallons of milk a day.
How? Oh my goodness that's up to 7/8litres.
Ugh I hate milk I only have oat milk with smoothies and coffee hated milk since I was a kid

Yay I so look forward to your shopping haul videos. Iâm glad your feeling better, I know your pain. I had two Utiâs and a kidney infection during pregnancy and ending up having an emergency csection at 29 weeks. He weighed 3lbs 4oz and had to stay in the nicu for 2 months. Heâs 12 now and 5â4â and weighs 115 lbs. you are a super woman and your in my prayers girl đ„°
3lbs 4 oz is a good size for a 29 week baby! What a story you have to tell đ

As always it takes forever for me to get through one of your videos. You will go from one item in the haul to the next and the new one looks so good, so interesting or Iâve never seen it before so I have to pause the video, log on to the Walmart app to check and see if they have it at my local store. If they do I have to add it to my weekly shopping order. My husband has learned to stop asking when we are unloading the order because heâs tired of hearing, âBecause Jamerrill got it.â Lol!
