Jamerrill, I would be so happy to see daily vlogs from you. You are such a blessing to me and you have such a calming spirit. I was battling some anxiety this morning and seeing your video helped me. :) we are thankful for any and all videos you do, even if you don't stick to your "plan"! :)))If you would consider it, I know a lot of moms including myself like seeing sped up cleaning videos or laundry videos etc; helps to motivate and let us know that we are not alone in our daily chores.
YES! Bacon in the oven is a lifesaver!!!! I used to be an ag teacher - each winter I would hold a HUGE community benefit breakfast where HUNDREDS would come - farmers, local factory workers, family & community members, etc and we'd make & serve the 3rd & 4th graders breakfast as well. :) Anyhow, one of my students mom would help me each year and she said hey, let's do the bacon in the oven - say what?!?!? With hundreds of lbs of bacon to cook I was all in, lol! Needless to say all you have to do is lay parchment paper on cookie sheets and bake away!!!! Just turn the oven to a high temp (400ish) and keep your eye on it - it comes out fabulous every time and no more grease pops!!! Hope this helps and works for you, just remember to keep your eye on it, it will turn fast once it gets goin! Ps: I am SO GLAD to see you back to videos, i LOVE your videos, I get so excited when I see a new one posted! 💗💗💗
Thank-you for being so bold in your faith, & so encouraging in many ways!!! 💗💗
Im up at almost midnight with my 19 month old. Binge watching your videos. He loves your videos when he is sick.
I think he enjoys your calm voice. I know it helps keep me calm when he is running a 40°C fever and is really sick.

I really hope you are able to do more videos! you are a blessing to watch!
I almost could feel how that foot hurt when you landed on it. Ouch! Good on you for trusting God through it all. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
Can't wait for more videos! Such an inspiration! 💛💛💛
YAY! So happy to hear that you are going to try to vlog more! :) You are such an encouragement and I agree with you that it seems that the Lord's grace & blessing is on you during this season for this--because you have a great ministry of encouragement to mamas! And the world needs more of that! :) And I think part of the beauty of your encouragement is that you share things like getting noodles stuck in your drain pipe! I do cook bacon in the oven sometimes. I ususally use my broiler pan--I just don't like cleaning it afterward! But I guess cleaning up after bacon is the name of the game! Blessings on you! Glad your foot is better! I had a great Sharp Shopper haul this week, too! (Lancaster Co. PA)--woo hoo! I even took a photo and sent it to my sis in NC because I was so excited!
Daily videos! Yay! Can't wait for what's to come. :-)
Yeahhhh to daily videos!! I miss you when you aren't able to vlog (but understand). PTL, to no broken foot! Baby Daniel is soooo cute and getting so big!!
New to your channel but loving it! Binge watching episodes now that my son is asleep lol
Thanks for sharing. I have been buying bags of beans and crock pot cooking them and freezing especially since summer is approaching and it is cheaper... Have a great Mother's Day!!
A video every day??? I love your videos so much. They are so encouraging and motivating. I'd love to request your banana bread in the bread machine for a cooking idea. I completely understand your busy daily life, but if your in need of a quick segment I'd love that. Lol. Hope your day shines!
Bacon in the oven is wonderful. With such a big family, I'm not sure how much you intend to cook at one time, but if you have more than one rack to put in your oven, you can definitely bake two trays at once. That's how all of the big restaurants cook their massive amounts. My family learned it from a friend who worked in them his whole life, and now we never make it any other way. Much less messy, you can do other things while it's baking, it's great. I do recommend lining your pans with tin foil, though. Just because grease isn't splattering anywhere doesn't mean you aren't going to end up with a lot of it!
Also, baked omelettes are great for feeding lots of people at once. My family reserved them for leftover day, and you just take any leftover vegetables and/or meats you have, dice them up, throw them into a big baking dish, cover it all with eggs (and cheese, if you want, though in my family cheese was a personal preference, so we always left it as an optional topping), and they are wonderful. You can top them with salsa, sour cream, ketchup if the kids are into that, and it's a big breakfast that doesn't take a whole lot of effort. Or lunch. Or dinner. >.>
I'm glad you didn't break your foot. Praying for healing in your household!! Daniel is so adorable!!!! I can't believe the price of that Chinese buffet... You won't see that here in So. Cal!!! Haha... Excited for your Videos!! Yay!!!
Absolutely so thrilled to have you back on regular basis on CZcams. You have inspired me in so many ways… I am actually launching my own blog by the end of May. I am a mother of two boys and one is adopted with several special needs and My husband has epilepsy. My life is a little different than most so I felt that there's probably others out there that could benefit from some of the things that I live with daily. I also write for a blog for my job where I work at a Christian conference center on every day daily devotions for women and I will also be posting these on my own. Thank you again for all you do and thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us as well!
Thank you for your videos! You are a huge HUGE encouragement to me in my daily mama, homeschooling and business life!!! Thank you for obeying the Holy Spirit and doing what he's laid on your heart to do with vlogging! God has used you and your videos to help me change our family life and change ME for the better!
Yay for daily vlogs!
Glad its not a fracture and that youre feeling better Jamerill
I love your videos so I'm excited for any you are able to get out!!!
Yes the oven !!! We have a small family but we love blt and other bacon I always do it in the oven it is quick and super crunchy
Great video! I do the same thing with cooking a lot of a couple meals a week and then we have leftovers or I make the leftovers into something new. It saves so much time and sanity! :)
exciting update....Look forward to the upcoming videos!
You have the best videos you inspire me to be more organized. I don't know how you do it, with 7 kids! I have 1 boy who is 3 and one in the oven I can't even handle it!
Oh I wish we had Dollar Three here in Norway! Love your vlogs, just subscribed to you and I'm now binge watching your videos :) God bless you and your family
I love those sticker books from dollar tree! they have lots of great learning resources❤
Hi..I just found ur channel a few days ago but ive binge watched over half of your videos..lol I loooove that ur a Christian and that you talk about it openly on your channel. Your video on scriptures for moms was such a blessing to me. Thank you for that...!! I actually want to comment on doing bacon in the oven..Ive got 6 people in my family and when we do BLT's its a lifesaver! You dont have to stand over the hot pan babysitting every piece of bacon. Each piece lies flat and its just so much easier. I recommend trying it at least once. :o)
yay, a video everyday!! 😀😀😀
We love bacon in the oven in this family! It is the only way I make it anymore and it is sooo nice to be able to enjoy it at the same time as my family. :)
Praying for you, Little Momma. Hope you are feeing better.
I do have a question though...how DO you stay so peaceful and calm with your children? I mean this seriously, because I pray for, and try to make small changes myself...Thank you in advance!
I'm from Saudi Arabia, and I love your videos, you're amazing and keep up the great work! - love Bedo
I always bake my bacon in the oven. I just lay out on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Time may vary based on thickness of bacon or how crispy you want it. :)
Love your videos, especially your homeschooling info ones :)
nice haul, hope everyone is feeling better soon
So excited at the possibility of daily vlogs! :-)
Love your videos! I love your large family. I have 2 kids and honestly don't know if it will ever happen. It's in Gods hands I guess. I would love to be a stay at home mom and $ wise it's not possible. I am schedule to start nursing school in the fall. I love the positivity you bring to CZcams. Something this world needs more of !
LOL I feel like we live the same life. My life is also full of antics.
I look forward to seeing more of you! 😀
bake it! put it on a cookie sheet, bake it till it looks pretty done and *I* broil it for just a few seconds to make it good and crispy!
This has been a lifesaver for me numerous times.
I only cook one lb of bacon at a time, but I always bake it. It's so much easier! Takes about half an hour on 350 degrees to get it extra crisp like my family likes. I just lay it out on cookie sheets and don't over lap to help it cook evenly and crisp. I would definitely recommend it!
I love it!!! It will be a blessing daily videos!!!!!!!!
You are amazing and love your walk with the Lord
Blessings to all of you...
Bacon in the oven is the way to go!! We line glass pans and bake it on 350 until it's crispy. Less mess and you still get crisp bacon. YUM!
So excited to watch you everyday, Jamerill!! Thank God your foot is on the mend!
Btw, could you please share your skincare routine with us? You always look so beautiful! :)
I love your new kitchen.
So excited for daily video. This one was awesome as well as I love your hall. I just found you recently and you are def one of my fav CZcamsr. You are awesome. Just do your best and if some days it doesn't work out that's ok too. ;)
I have been cooking my bacon in the oven for several years now - it is so much easier and less messy, too! I line a baking sheet with foil, then put a cooling rack on top. I heat the oven to 350 degrees, lay the bacon on top of the rack, and just let it go. I start at 25 minutes and give it a check - I really just keep an eye on it until it's done. Sometimes I will flip the bacon once if it's particularly thick, but otherwise you don't even need to do that! If I am doing multiple baking sheets, I will make sure to move them around once or twice during the cooking process so that everything gets equal heat. I let the baking sheets cool off completely and the grease hardens up - then you just fold up the foil and toss it. So easy!
I love making bacon in the oven! Such an easy clean up! I line baking sheets with tin foil, and place bacon right down on the foil. Place it in a cold oven, then turn oven on to 400, and bake for 23-25 min :) Daniel is getting so big, what a cutie!! Loving your lip color too!
I'm in on the Monday and Wednesday ideas!
My husband and I absolutely love bacon in the oven! We do it at 400 degrees and lay down foil on a cookie sheet for easy clean up! :)
Daily videos would be awesome! But whenever you get a video out, I enjoy them so much, you're an inspiration to me, in how you deal with your children. Thank you for sharing your life with us, and keep it up! I'll be here to watch and be blessed, no matter when and how often you get videos out! :D :D :D
Peggy
We always bake bacon in the oven. I do a cookie sheet filled at 350 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes. Comes out perfect everytime!
Worked in food service for almost 20 years. Bacon in the oven is key for success. Bulk baking the bacon is great for sandwiches, but also great for saving the fat for later or using right away on roasting potatoes. 😋
We raise our own pigs and I do my bacon in the oven. The best way I have found is to line cookie sheets with tin foil (for easy clean up), then set cooling racks on them and place bacon on racks.........400 degree oven for 20 minutes (keep cooking until they are as crispy that you like). Throw cooling racks in dishwasher....I love this method :)
I have been baking bacon in the oven for years, the cleanest way to cook it by far! I love that you can also flavor it a bit by sprinkling on spices; for heat I'll add chili or cayenne and if we are having it with pancakes and syrup I might sprinkle a bit of brown sugar over it too.
I just love your channel! I have just bought the Healthy Mama books and started reading everything. They keep saying in the book that it will get easier. I am excited to start losing weight. I have Fibromyalgia and I am hoping by losing some weight it can help me.
I also raised seven children and always baked my bacon. For that three pound pkg, you'll need to spread it out on a couple of large baking sheets lined with parchment. Bake at 375-400 until it reaches the doneness you prefer. Probably 20 minutes or so. Give it a stir with a pair of tong every so often. I never worried about it all laying nice and flat on the sheets, and mine is usually curled up. Flat bacon is for families with one or two kids. lol
I love cooking bacon in our George Foreman grill. comes out really crisp and drains off all the grease
For the bacon, lay them flat on cookie sheets (with lips/sides), a little overlap is fine on the slices. Put them into a very hot oven (like 400-425) for about 20 minutes. Drain half way through for crispier bacon.
If you have a baking rack that fits inside your cookie sheet, you can drain the bacon while it cooks by putting the bacon on the baking rack. The fat will drain through the rack and into the cookie sheet.
My family has always cooked bacon in the oven and it works really well. We do it on the grill (broil) setting and still do multiple pans - you just have to swap the pans around on the shelves a few times and flip the bacon over once or twice. Very easy and a lot more of the grease drains into the groves on the cookie sheets, so you're not eating quite as much fat! We also used to make it this way in big commercial ovens at a ski club I belonged to years ago, and that was for 30-40 people at once! Definitely the way to cook bacon for a crowd!
I've been cooking bacon in the oven for about a year. I cook it at 375 degrees and it take about 20 min or so for 2 cookie sheets (about 16 pieces of bacon).
We do bacon in the oven spread them in a single layer on a foil lined cookie tin and broil them for about 10 - 15 minutes. Works great and you can cook about 12 - 15 pieces at a time.
We cook bacon on a cookie sheet at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes I get thick bacon so thin may need to be less time but it comes out crispy we love it. We love bacon here.
I line the cookie sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Sometimes I put it on a rack so it drains the fat as it cooks.
I love cooking bacon in the oven. I cook it on 350 for about 18-22 minutes depending on how thick it is. Also put the bacon in first then start to preheat your oven. Helps to cook it evenly.
Great haul! I seen your picture of your bacon! Looked fab! :)
