Not sure why this or any of your other performances wouldn't draw a crowd... watching you drum is just mesmerizing!
The public are morbid and ignorant
India me aake dekhe gordo bhaiya kya attention milegi inko
The speed is absurd. I can't wrap my head around it
That's the way it is. There's not always going to be people who appreciate or have the time to stop and watch. Don't be discouraged, keep doing your thing and don't ever change your style.
Pro tip. If you’re watching this in a big screen tv etc. you can scan his QR code and tip as well!
I hope people so, times have changed.
The speed of hit, when it's uber fast like it was at the start of this video it gives the people the feeling to speed up.
CHEEE that switch up at 2:11 is gnarly 🤙🏼🤍👀
Well, plz consider me the only one standing around you! Your skills are def progressing my man!
Dude, you’re a beast !!!!!! So fkn badass…
I love your mesmerizing performances each time I saw them on You Tube!! Thank you!!!
had me dancing in my seat. I'd def. stop and jam to this in real life.
Wrong crowd, my guess. Keep up the great work.
Absolutely insane! I'm surprised that there are not a whole crowd surrounding you
Most are locals and have crossed it off the bucket list, but don't beat that up, some people still enjoy a live show.
I think you channel the Wizard, Mr. Peart. I Love watching and listening.
always excited to hear your new beats
Amazing!!🥁
Im glad you back!
Fantastic!
That old man with the bags and the cap was like cmon it’s just a guy smacking buckets, let’s go already.
Because it's not very rhythmic. It's a beat only drummers can really hear the complexities of. Crowds are going to be drawn to up beat rhythms set in basic timings. It was good tho.
hi Gordo! I watched one of ur drum videos a long time ago and played it over and over again, cus I was so impressed by your skills and talents. But I didn't know about your channel until now, and now I know that you're performing in Sydney. I'm a high schooler living in an Asian country and I really hope I can get into an Australian university and also immigrate there! Please stay safe, don't move anywhere in 2 years so I will have a chance to see you playing irl 🥹🤍 you're rlly inspiring i jus hope u know
Well I LOVED it. 😍 I also really like your shoes btw 😛
I think it's amazing! It's fun and feels wild in a liberating sort of way. Some people are just too busy in their lives.
A heartbeat as fast as this one obviously means danger 😨😉
Amazing🎉
Keep doing more of your best
It clashes with their heartbeat.
Going by the title was expecting the answer to be because it sux but this’s legendary and incredible. The area maybe, the people there are headed to their boring office jobs.
Thanks!
É sempre bom ver seus vídeos. Parabéns gente boa
When he fastened the beat, a smile appeared on my face
In some big cities, crowd is indifferent to the talentuous people like you Gordo. But you had already success in some other. Anyway, it's a pleasure to follow you 👍
Super 💯 🔥🔥
You can go to Ximending in Taipei, Taiwan where there are many foreign street performers and Taiwanese people are very warm and generous.
Definitely a sick beat..
I would actually stop to watch-I like the beat.
Me too.
The strollers act as if it's something they encounter every day.
Society is majority lost....sad.
the clapping and smile at the end
I like it
2:18 is what i live forrrr
Wowww bhai ❤❤❤❤
Not sure why even the “bad” beat won’t draw a crowd lol. It was all awesome! Ngl, I would love to see you play marching tenor drums one day, mainly to hear what they would sound like when you would do super fast triplets on them and spin your stick while hitting them lol would prb be one heck of a sound
I love u bro i watch u befor 5 year i swear allah u good
Applying more techno beats into your drumming might spice things up🔥
Walking Dead.
Nice fella🔥
Pretty sick beat, people don't know what's good.
Could do with 12 hour version. Absolutely next level
🎉🎉🎉
I think the beat started at 0:14 was fire, it then went crazy at 0:41 🔥
That beat slaps
Ахах, спустя 6 лет изменился хват) и qr код появился😅
It's good though.😊 🙌🙌🙌
I do like this one, but I think a lot of your other beats are a bit more chaotic and polyrhythmic, which probably catches more passersby off guard and gets them to stop.
Watching from India
we need jungle I'm afraid
❤
If i was in that city, I would have been there from start till the very end.
Magic hands ✋️ ✨️ 🪄
Hells, *I* like it! Maybe it's too proggy? I hear hints of Peart...
Let me first say that what you do is very impressive, I don't know anything about drumming or it's intricacies however after reading a few comments you are a superb artist at what you do. For myself and this is just my personal opinion, there was so much going on meaning that just when I starting getting the hang of a certain beat, it changed and this was happening numerous times during your performance. I'm not saying it's a bad thing and probably that's what's making your drumming at the level that it is but for me again, someone with no drumming knowledge, it sounded very "busy", for lack of a better word.
Complex and intricate, perhaps.
From my PoV, such a composition requires attention to be enjoyed, and it's almost a necessity to hear the whole thing, or at least from the start, to get a feel for it and be able to recognize it's worth.
And yet, that same crucial beginning is divisive of the audience, somewhat musically shocking, perhaps, the unprepared listener, thus almost instantaneously turning a big part of the audience away.
And the rest of the composition is polarizing, exactly through those switch-ups you picked up on.
This is the same spot in that video of you from like 10 plus years ago
Maybe they don't find this beat "interesting" enough? At least for me, that's the only reason I can think of and tbh this beat isn't even that bad.
SO SICK!!!!
Very strange. this beat isn't even that much faster than your other works. If anything it should attract more people, i think. Your art is stunningly beautiful either way, and I wish you a thousand fresh beats to outweigh this odd one out :)
where are you there? =)
They are thinking you are a construction worker doing some kind of work not even looking closer
These are the same folks that when they go on "vacation" in Europe, they try to see 15 sights a day and don't even experience or remember anything. I've seen it time and time again. Maybe if an alien ship landed in front of them, they would stop, but who knows.
Still like your style pro
Excellence 👍I think the first beat may be a bit too rapid for too long and not varied enough, maybe you need to include some other drums/tones to add some contrast, or perhaps it was simply the sound/frequency of that main drum being used... or a combo of those things.
I'd sure stop! (In fact, I just did.) Fantastic as always!
At the end only one person clapped
Can you do "wipeout" covers? People will relate to that the most trust me. And hip hop beats.
some audiences are bad tbh, i feel like passionate ppl or free spirits would die to hear this live. maybe theyre just too plugged or busy but regardless nice work
What city are you in? Looking like you are in Aus?
Sydney
So underrated. The video was way too quiet at the end.
♥️👍♥️👍♥️👍♥️👍♥️
Break beat, only special people get it.
Can't stand still to a walkin beat
Pretty sure this would net you a crowd in most the United States.
Isnt it obvious, you were in the wrong side of town for this beat😂
If I had to speculate, I'd imagine that:
While this beat is excellent, technique-wise, it likely doesn't have enough melodic value to a normie just passing by. They might just see it as, "a crazy person banging on sticks".
Yes, ppl might say that about your other beats....but I'd argue that those others beats, relatively speak, had more surface-level melodic value to get more normies on board (aka form a crowd).
More technical beats like this really could only be appreciated at a concert or by drum enthusiasts.
.....or maybe you just haven't the right area for that particular beat...who knows. haha
2 reasons.... 1 is that people don't understand how complex it is. 2 there's not enough black people
No idea very weird
Drumming fast doesn’t mean shit. It’s the beat that matters.
As a drummer, I can agree with you. Like I can do a very fast proper double stroke roll. Doesn’t mean shit if I don’t use it in a beat or just play a bunch of drums with a bunch of thirty-second note rhythms randomly, it won’t matter if it doesn’t sound good. I would only do that if I play for a band and there is a big moment where it’s basically just asking for a fill where the drums play a bunch of random stuff with thirty-second note rhythms
When are you planning on collabsing with Davie504?
Do you sometimes play in a bathtub with a horses head?
Черт, как ты тренируешься?
Great performance! Also man, stop skipping leg day.
No swing to it. Sounds like more like a drum line routine than something people would dance too
People aren't too fond of DNB anymore, I guess? In any case, I thought it sounded great!
Maybe you could do something completely different for a change... For example, something with a slower tempo but with more variation...🙂
Too aggressive sounding?
People suck.
if he's soo good why is he on streets then?
The reason could be they took the Fauci ouchie and have lost their cognition 🤣🤣🤣
Nice drumming Mate
to repetitive at he start and honestly that area sucks lol. So many looking stuck up people.
Its too fast, too much beats per second.
I know why, because you don't respond to your comment section, or acknowledge them. Lol
wrong area i think. gotta think of cultural influence by music in the areas you preform.
why dont you try got talents?
first
I know... 'cause it's annoying. can't latch on to anything, no groove. also... bucket drumming is inherently fucking annoying
