Lumos! Constructing An OAK Harry Potter-Inspired Wand With Bright LED Wand Light

In which I demonstrate the techniques to build a functional wand inspired by the Harry Potter books and movies. The wand features a custom 8-LED array and provides a diffuse light that illuminates the entire room, similar to the "Lumos" spell effect seen in the Harry Potter movies. The wand is made of sturdy white oak and is powered by a replaceable 6-volt battery. I use my own at night in lieu of a flashlight or bedside lampstand.
