    Most Harry Potter fans think they know everything about these iconic books and the beloved movies that came after. But even the biggest die-hards might have missed a thing or two from their favourite movies, and seeing as how many incredible details they were able to squeeze into every frame, we don’t blame them! We’ve gone back and watched them all more than once, and we still keep finding exciting new hidden secrets in Harry Potter. From the first words that Snape ever said to Harry which actually mean so much more than they seem, to a shout out to Professor Mcgonagall’s glory days as a student hidden in the trophy case. There is a hilarious moment with Neville and his Remembrall that has a hidden layer, a secret message in Hermione’s hair during The Deathly Hallows, a visit to Borgin and Burkes that is packed with easter eggs, and a shout out to Daniel Radcliffe’s theatrical career on the wall of a London cafe. What Gilderoy Lockhart has in his office tells us a lot about who he is, Snape sends a subtle message about whose side he is on during his fight with Professor Mcgonagall, and a wizard in The Leaky Cauldron is reading a book that is way more significant than it may seem! And that is nowhere near all of them, check out the video to find out all of the incredible details that are hidden within all of the Harry Potter movies.

    There are a lot of details from the books that weren't included in the movies, but I'm still most upset with the fact that Voldemort evaporates in the films. In te books, he died as a human, with a body. It made Voldemort come full circle, showing that even the darkest wizard of all time can't escape the last human experience: death

We were waiting for the cartoon movie to begin, when a preview of the first Harry Potter movie came on…..Hermione in the bathroom with the ogre, was the scene. We were hooked. We got up, and went into the other theater to see the Sorcerer’s Stone, which was just starting. That event created a life long fascination with everything Harry Potter for my grandchildren and me. McGonagall played a role in Magical Beasts, making her older then what the plaque indicated.
      But at the time of the shooting Magical Beasts had not even been written as a movie, just a little booklet.
      So as like much of background evolved during writing this was one. I think the filmmakers with JKR's approval revered to professor MCgonagall as we got to know her in the HP movie serie.

    • @ChikSewp
      @ChikSewp Před 3 lety +14

      @@kamion53 Right but even in the movie timeline, McGonagall is shown as much older, even older than Snape and Snape is only supposed to be in his 30's when Harry first comes to Hogwarts if we follow the book timeline. Harry's parents were, what, 21-ish when he was born..? So Snape should only be, again... 33? Which would make Minerva atleast in her 50's, if not even older, meaning she would def not have been on that plaque. lol Also I think you meant Fantastic Beasts but we'll let it go :D

    • @andreasklindt7144
      @andreasklindt7144 Před 3 lety +2

      According to wikipedia Minerva McGonagall was born in 1935, which makes her 36 in 1971. Maybe she was teaching Quidditch in 1971 and won that price as the team's trainer? Or maybe time flows different in the wizzard world than in the muggle world and the numbers of the years are relative?

    • @kamion53
      @kamion53 Před 3 lety +3

      @@ChikSewp The HP timeline is a fan's pet and peeve. JKR originally did not had a clear timeline in mind. It was only after releasing Chamber of Secrets that a real time anker was provided in the 500th Deathday of Nearly Headless Nick, having died at Halloween 1492. And being it the year Columbus travelled to America I think even that was not so much mend as a time anker but just a familiar year.
      But the fans got on counting and beat each other over the head when discovering the presentation of Harry's parents was by people far too old as concluded from the timetime they constructed. Adrian Rawling who plays James Potter in the Mirror scene is 43 years old when filming, about double the age the character when he died. Alan Rickman is 55 a far cry from the character who is 31 when the saga starts
      JKR went along with the timeline that emerged from fandom and sealed the deal in the last book with the dates of live and death of the Potter couple. (27 March 1960-31 Oktober 1981 and 30 January 1960-31 Oktober 1981)
      To make a long story short, the "correct" timeline was not taken in account when shooting Philophers/Sorceres Stone.
      At the time of shooting there were no discrepancies in timeline, they only came after the 2nd or 3th movie. So when a McGonagall is showed on a plaque tagged 1971, one can assume its the McGonagall present in the movie. And it is just shown to show what a Quiddich-geek the present McGonagall is.
      And yess it has to be Fantastic Beast.

    Another funny detail in the movies is when Oliver wood is first teaching Harry about quidditch. When the golden snitch gets loose and flys around you can notice Wool turning around looking for it while Harry can see it all the time! It shows Harrys natural talent as a seeker!
    Also in the Golbet of Fire when Harry has his interview with Reeta Skeeter under the stairs in a scrub she mentions that he should feel right at home (because he used to sleep in a scrub at the Dursley’s, which he’s never mentioned). She knows that (it’s said in the book) because she could turn into a beetle to eavesdrop to get the best gossip, therefore she’s been at Harry’s house. Fun fact
