Undortunately that sort of thing is going to be far harder than anything else especially from examples from human history. It would take alot of work to do it, but it would take many magnitudes more in order to keep it that way.

I chastise myself to not have discovered this video sooner. This video pretty much represents and gratifies my fantasy for Humanity's Military going against Sci-Fi/Fantasy elements. You sir have brought back the childhood enthusiasm out of me, and I can't give you enough thanks for making this edit
It's fun to fantasize about it. But the truth is, almost any spacefaring race is going to be hundreds if not thousands of years ahead of us in technological ability. So our few flimsy space crafts (space station and a few hundred satellites), our warships, fighter jets, and missiles, should be about as useful as natives on canoes rowing out to meet a nuclear carrier. It wouldn't be a war. It would just be a matter of why the aliens are coming. If they want to exterminate us and take the planet, there's nothing we can do. All these TV shows and movies showing us fighting the aliens are silly. It wouldn't be our soldiers against theirs or our aircraft against theirs. Again, imagine us invading some aboriginal tribe. They bring blowguns, bows and arrows, and come out to meet us on a few dozen canoes. We don't even need our naval ships and fighter jets. A few powerboats with miniguns and 50 cal cannons will easily take the poor natives out. We can't even imagine how the aliens would kill us, but there wouldn't be any meaningful fighting at all.

Good shit bro, this gave me goosebumps. I think it's every sci-fi nerd's, not dream, but maybe something that they have thought about a lot, if aliens actually invaded and humanity somehow fought them off, and this encapsulates that idea perfectly.

I remember reading a book series where the aliens, who are parasitic slugs that take over the bodies of other species, flat out state that a direct invasion of Earth would be doomed to fail because we humans have such an ingrained prowess for warfare that we could overcome their technological weaponry advantage.

That's why they opted for a stealth invasion of Earth, even though they acknowledge that it would take years to infest our entire population.

@@gerardoruiz4969 which is why an alien invasion would probably never happen unless they wanted to obliterate Earth just for the fun of it, if they can get here then we arent a threat to them as their technology far outweighs ours, and a war between us would only result in the destruction of earth, so conquering it isnt very realistic. Nuclear Warfare poses a huge issue for any species which engages us in direct combat, as the US, Russia, and others are fully prepared to bring out everything in their arsenal to avoid losing.
imagine 10000 nuclear warheads heading in your direction, any species would probably want to avoid that; so theyd either retreat and come up with a better strategy, or blow up the earth with everything they have after seeing our weapons

1st one "CONTACT" with Jodie Foster, 2nd one , "Independence day, 3rd one, "Armegeddon" with Bruce Willis... This is a well put aggregation of invasions both artificial, and natural. Out of all of them, the predators was my favorite.

I love the idea that all these different alien species with technology somehow appearing together resembles alliances like the Coalition or the Allie powers, Different nations joining together and invading as one force. Here the aliens races invade together to split the benefits.
This was ****ing AWESOME!!! Basically a 25 minute alien invasion movie, of all the best science fiction invasion movies rolled into one montage that works as a single movie. I commend you, this was basically the best short-film thing I've scene of all the best footage. Started with Contact and The Arrival, then goes to Independence Day, Battleship, Transformers, Battle Los Angeles, Cloverfield, The Day the Earth Stood Still, War of the World's. Too many to list my man, nice work. 🪖🌎vs🛸👽

The part labeled Unite for Humanity , makes me think of seeing a Giant formation of naval Ships of every nation along with cargo ships with there decks packed to the brim with Main battle tanks , APCs, IFVs , AAA, Sams and troops of every nation, though each soldier wears the patch of there nation above it is a patch of earth or the UN ( if the UN is actually a functioning thing in this movie) and Fighters , transports, Bombers in the air along with Heli's of every nation.
Nice! Reminds me of the Naruto Shinobi headbands everyone wears in the final war. Also, .15:15 and 15:31. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!
