So silly. Aliens wouln't even realize they are in a war with humans. When we decide to put up a house on a plot of land we dont 'go to war' with the ants. We just build. If they can cross space they are likely so advanced that they wont even recognise that we are resisting. We would just be mild natural contamination on the planet's surface. They probably wouldnt try to communicate either. These alien invasion stories are more about making the human audience feel good.
