Moving into your first apartment is so exciting but stocking it up with kitchen essentials can be difficult. This First Apartment Grocery haul helps you plan for everything you need in your new apartment kitchen.
For some reason, when I moved into my first apartment one of the things I was so excited about doing was going grocery shopping for all the kitchen essentials.
I moved in with no food so I needed everythingggg. I began thinking about all the different essentials I needed from spices to pantry items, to all the paper products.
I created this First Apartment Grocery List to keep me organized but realized it would also be helpful for anyone else moving into their own first apartment!!

Richard Young I packed up my stuff and decided to move 4 hours from home in like a two week period lmao. If I could I would definitely start investing in pieces for my apartment way before I moved. It’s expensive to completely decorate it.

The cheapest stores are definitely Aldi and for most things Walmart. Kroger has good sales and digital coupons, too! But in my opinion their brand is the best.
I just moved into my first apartment too! I’ve been here about a month and the first time I went grocery shopping I didn’t realize how quickly things go bad and that I’m the only one eating here. So the second time I was definitely a lot more selective.
I just wanted to let you know, for glass, vinegar, warm water and dish soap in a bottle is an amazing glass cleaner use paper towels to clean though.
I've heard that and definitely want to try that!!

My mom uses Trello for her cooking recipes and ingredients, it's like a shopping list with instructions. It is super useful, and not hard to make, highly recommend

omg my mom and i are in love with viva paper towels there were the cheapest (surprisingly) at SafeWay which was shocking to us as well.

Always look at different stores. Aldi, Walmart, Costco, Dollar Tree... all of them. First run through JUST browse and take notes on the list (different color pens for different stores) then go back and buy at each store according to cheapest price. Read labels - I refuse to buy anything made with certain ingredients that cause deforestation.
Omg ! I did that !!! Haha i shop at trader Joe's, sprouts and Costco but also have a Sam's club membership. So i have a small notebook and each store is under a different color with all the stuff i buy recording their prices . That way i know who has what cheaper .

I didn't even realize America had Aldi! I personally am more of a Lidl shopper but now I want to go and check out Aldi to see the price difference and if they have the items you are showing. I'm guessing that just like Lidle that Aldi mostly sells products that are more suitable to the country the store is in so I'm curious considering the fact that I live in The Netherlands! We'll see though!

See this is why I love CZcams. You can just get on CZcams and find a tutorial for literally anything 😂 my brother asks “how exactly do we grocery shop for first moving in?” I say put it on CZcams I guarantee there’s a video on it and voila 😭 gotta love it

Moved in March 6th so went shopping that weekend...I was SO LUCKY that I did because literally two days later everything shut down haha.
