If you're new here, I bought a house, packed up nearly my whole life, and officially closed on my house and move ALL of my stuff. But it's still a tad empty... stock my house with me as I fill up my very empty pantry and fridge, buy some household essentials, and get a sofa!

This is such good advice but unfortunately anybody can find just about everything now. And it’s so unfortunate but it’s the reality of things. If someone really wants to find her they would.
I mean everyone in real like can view her plate. Not that big of a deal
I hope you did call the store about your door. I used to work for Lowe's and we used the utmost care not to damage anything when making deliveries. Also, we would have removed all the tape and packaging from your refrigerator. Seeing all that food is making me hungry.
Well they use a third party delivery service now.. it’s been over a month and I finallly have notice the check for the replacement door is on the way!! 🙌🏼

Btw Dollar General is the most expensive place to shop at between dollar tree, family dollar and dollar general. When I moved I went to buy all my miscellaneous stuff there and ended up spending $200 on about 18 things 😅 needless to say I was a bit confused with that amount, now I always stick to dollar tree 😂

also, anyone still prepping to get a house etc, a good thing that's very helpful is to buy stuff little by little so that when you move in you have a bunch of stuff instead of having to go out and worry about the hastle.

I’ve only moved 4 times in my life but each one was out of state. And running errands was my chore since I was 13 (to get out of dishes lol) so I’ve seen a lot of different prices for things and you had a very realistic expected budget!
I just wanted to mention it bc I love watching these types of vlogs and I always see people spending twice or 3x what they could’ve or expecting their whole grocery bill to only be 200-300 when they need a full fridge pantry and ALL new spices. And that last one is the biggest budget killer 😂

Buying store brand cleaning products from places like Walmart will save a lot of money! I just look for the same active ingredients as the name brand product I like and I’ve never had any problems.

@@SaySarah i’m brand new to your channel and I absolutely love your content! Honestly, both stores are kind of a hit or miss and same thing with Walmart. I usually purchase a lot of my things off of Amazon but a lot of times it’s a little bit more pricier, but sometimes the quality is much better! I will say, though, for the items that you got, I think you did absolutely amazing! For items like that, I usually get at Walmart though! your house is beautiful and your channel is amazing. Glad I came across it.

Adulting is definitely expensive. I remember when I first moved out way back when, food was definitely cheaper. I swear I was at Walmart all the time.

If you have a sams club near you I’d definitely recommend getting a membership with them. You can spend just as much of not a little more on groceries and it definitely would be a lot more food. Plus you get 2% back if you get the plus membership.

I would have had the service people bringing my kitchen stuff out come through my garage that way the main door was not banded up as if it where the garage door people wouldn't see it. Usually my parents use to do it that way.
Oof if they would’ve done that there was more of a chance my walls would’ve gotten all banged up too

Oh it is so weird seeing the Vileda bucket thing branded as O-Cedar, but if you compare the German pronunciation of Vileda with the English O-Cedar the melody is so close, so I see why they chose it.
Sometimes rebranding based on countries/continents can be so weird. Like, how Alpro is Belsoy in North America.
You can use the microwave for the totinos pizzas. You just cook them for about four to five minutes.
Something about putting the pizza in the oven makes it feel a tad more healthy lol and crispy!

But I wanted to separate the trips anyway and get us most as I could from Dollar General. Assuming it would be cheaper.

Make lowes pay for that if they did the damage they are responsible call and ask for the appliance specialist manager and if thats does not work ask for the store manager do not have your builder fix it when its on lowes i used to get calls all the time about damage done to people house when i work there and they had to fix it

Gurl, I cringed every time you returned from a shopping trip. Isn't there a Ikea, Target, Aldi or other store that has the same items that you purchased for a much lower price. Aldi is great for food if there is one where you live, and never go to Dollar General over Dollar Tree. The household items you purchases and storage you could have gotten double for less on Amazon and received the next day. I love to see young people doing something positive with themselves and you are doing the do!! What an example. Woowho🥳

Dollar general is not a good place to shop price wise unless it’s couponing and a Saturday. You would have been better off just getting that stuff at Walmart and subbing for store brand on certain items.

Hell no, You should have called LOWES as soon as they left. Honestly though I hate those doors. Anyone can bust out the glass and unlock your door. You should look into an iron screen door or even just a better main door.
well surprisingly with the door falling down super hard the glass didn't shatter so maybe a little stronger haha but definitely not impossible. And don't worry, they FINALLY sent me the check and I ordered and had my door installed!
