T-fal are one of the best brands for pots and pans. My grandparents had a dark green set of them for literally 30 years until they recently replaced them a couple years ago. If you take care of them, the nonstick will last for a LONG time.

😂😂😂 honestly tho that was me when I was younger! It gives you ideas for the future! Nothing wrong with that! PS. Start saving early- you’ll have a nice amount built up so you can get everything you need + the cute stuff 💕💕 best advice I heard!

So I have the measuring cups from Walmart, we’ve had them for like a year. Now saying that putting them in the dishwasher over and over has made the paint or whatever rub off. We have to guess what size it is, I love baking and it sucks. The metal are engraved so they don’t rub off so I recommend that
For the shower curtain i prefer the plastic hooks because the metal ones can rust and they scrape against the bar which makes a really screechy noise

yup me too.. i liked the metal ones with the fake diamond on it because they were pretty but i just bought them over the summer and they are already rusted and screech so much :/ definitely getting plastic when i move
omg I loved this video! I also loved how you got a lot of stuff that reminded you of your old home!! after shopping for my first apartment, I realized that a majority of my kitchen items I got were the same items my parents had at home and it reminded me of my parent's house too!
I’m move into my own condo at 20 on the first of next month! I’m so excited, my house is filled with stuff for my apartment. I’m so proud of myself for taking the next step in my life. You have great advice about saving money! What I’ve been doing is creating wish lists on Amazon divided out in purchases. Love your vid!

I’m so excited to get my own place eventually too! I’m 17 at the moment so it’ll be a few years most likely but I’ve been buying things for my room and such that I can take with me when the time comes; I also think that’s a good idea too if you’re planning on getting your own place within the next few years to get things for your room and such that you can bring because it will help :)

OMG, Huge haul! My daughter is moving off compus in to her first apartment. I’m helping her buy her kitchen essentials …she is a minimalist so its easy. I found the large items at costco and the small things at TJ Max. We still need all the cleaning product. Love your video, so helpful!!!!

The metal ones are gonna be better because I have plastic ones from walmart too and the labels wear out over time and I have to guess what size they are

I would keep all the bowls. You will use them, esp the glass one if you need to do something in the microwave, and the large one for popcorn or making Chex mix

a good tip for yall who are wanting to move out: buy used furniture from fb market place!!!! people will be selling their really nice used couches for $200 or less sometimes! they also sell rugs, dining sets, decor, etc and it's really cheap and really nice stuff. In my area theres a biiiig sectional that would usually cost $2000 being sold for $300 and a pullout couch selling for $175. Most of these people just want to get rid of their things its super affordable.
i live with roommates rn but me and my bf are planning to move out on our own so im buying a ton of stuff and keeping it at my moms until i need it lol
yes! i love doing this plus you can often customize things to however you want it when you’re buying it off of someone instead of brand new from the store :) also walmart is having a big sale so i always look after the new year because you can find things cheap :)
