Are you getting ready to do a backsplash yourself? If you make a jig it works really good whenever I do these patterns or even other types I’d like making a jig first.

In the near future, I will be installing my own backsplash in my kitchen, really like this technique using jig for cutting to get a straight cut. The finishing result is very good.

Great work, and pre planning saves a crap load of time. Jigs are the answer to lifes problems, they can be applied to any situation. Do you chaulk the bottom where the tile meets the counter? Thanks for the vid!

How much space can you leave between the top tile and the cabinets?
That’s why I use a jig I’m able to cut them so I can go right up to the cabinet or about a quarter of an inch down.

I have a dry cut tile and a circular saw. Can I make these cuts with those tools or I need the jig?
Thank you for your question and yes you can cut them with the circular saw. The jig I made is just to make the job go faster and every cut is going to be the same so if you don’t want to take time to make the jig you don’t have to it’s just the way I do mine. Good eye, That last row in that corner is in the wrong direction I didn’t see it then when I was installing it but it’s hard to notice when you look at the kitchen when it’s completed.

Just curious, but besides stacking the corner tile on the right countertop, why didn't you "fold" the inside corners?
Thank you for your comment, I’m not sure what you mean by fold I did fold it with the cuts, so it would appear that it was folded now on the one wall the I wound up putting the tile straight Not continuing the correct pattern. out of 11,500 views only two people of brought this up no one has really caught it you can see that it’s not very obvious once it’s completed but it was a mistake.

Do you not grout the trim where the cuts are?
I tried to cut them very tight so if you get any grout in there it’s minimal.

In the second corner you put your feet wrong, you didn't follow the herringbone design
