There are many storys on the internet where people, even workshops, lifted these vans wrongly and crushed some metal. Thats the main reason I made this video and why I created the channel in general. CZcams has helped me alot ever since and I want to give something back. Hope you enjoy.

It's actually mentioned on the jack itself. But great to see to avoid common mistakes. Hope garage technicians see this. We had our sill crimped by a garage using the wrong jacking points. And that was the garage owner!

Yep I heard about it. Workshops do stupid mistakes but honestly the Ford jacking points are weird.

Does it come with a Jack? And if so, where?

Need to upvote this more. Many videos are unclear don't offer this info. The instructions are very poor.
I knew the front point. Wasn't 100% sure on the rear points, it didn't look promising.
    But now I know.
P.S this obviously the same for a Transit Custom.
P.P.S yes definitely DO NOT use the indent point on the side of the vehicle at the back, as the commentator says you'll be in big trouble... In fact you'll buckle the side of the vehicle 😮 Not that I would know...

You have the jack points marked on the sizzor jack that is located in the step in the passinger compartment (steering wheel on the left side version.)

In my manual they mention to put the jack on the "leaf springs" itself, just "behind" the axle.

In my opinion the manual is not precise here. The surface is not as flat as I would put the jack under the leaf spring.

Urm, guys, as somebody that plans to buy a Tourneo in the near future: Where are you supposed to jack the van up, if you plan to do any work on the suspension, as it is blocked in front and back when using the points shown here.

Just make sure not to use the side panel 😂

@@bikedogtor1663 Haha, Roger that, but srsly, I'd tend to go for the engine carrier frame directly where they are bolted on in such a case, or is there anything else, specifically in the back?

Thanks it is good, but where can I get that adapter? The original “lifter” has, but that is too slow and hard to use winter-summer change.
So is that possible to buy an adapter for the front point? Thank you in advance.

I find the hydraulic jack is best here. The adapter is not needed in my opinion. You just need a flat surface for lifting.
