  • Todd Tuckey shows you a space theme pinball machine that was the first machine he piurchased brand new on "closeout" for $1295 because Gorgar just got released and the Williams Distributor wanted to get rid of the remaining stock! Lots of things to do in this fun game!

Cool. I bet Todd didn't even know this was the sample game of tri zone. The cab is a different color and the playfield art is 100% different

Yes...someone mentioned it earlier...if I had realized it, I would have brought over the OTHER Tri Zone in warehouse and done a comparison!

I bought this from a local man for $400 but in not so great shape. It boots up but constantly resets during POST so I have lots of electronic work do it looks like. I'm not sure exactly where to start but a lot of your videos have a lot of great tips on the electronics on these early solid state Williams games. In the mean time I've been acquiring cosmetic pieces like new repro pop bumper caps and drop target stickers. I was miraculously able to find an ad on craigslist for a NOS playfield that had been used as a piece of wall art. It has some screw holes unfortunately but it's in otherwise perfect shape. The playfield on mine was pretty worn and color faded. I really liked the look of this game because it reminded me a lot of Flash's layout and sounds. I kind of like the color scheme on this prototype version though. Great work! I like the color changing led in the middle. Can't wait till I get mine running just like yours!

I wasn't able to find Tri-Zone in your understanding pinball series that you've uploaded here on youtube. Is that because you haven't uploaded it yet? I would love to see it.

Was that an early production game or something?. It looks like the cabinet colours are reversed?. Red where it is usually black?.

I have a Tri-Zone machine. But the ZONE bonus does not work as it should. If you hit all four. They stay down and does not give you anything. The next time it is your turn they will come up again. Any idea what might be the issue?

That means that one of the target "Horseshoe" switches is broken (one side of the horseshoe breaks off) or the contacts are filthy.
