It definitely was ! They are great people. One thing we have discovered since we bought Elixir is that boaters by and large are very friendly and helpful people!
That was a bonus!! What wonderful friends. Are you going to do any sightseeing in Sarasota? The Ringling Bros museum is there. It's a beautiful mansion with stunning artwork and then a museum of the history of the circus.

Just saw your comment (don’t know why but sometimes it doesn’t tell me someone commented). We did not get to visit Sarasota- just got some groceries. We were under a time deadline to get Marie to her ride to Georgia, so we had to keep moving. I try to get Marie in the videos more often but she is camera shy 😉
