- A high-profile New York real estate lawyer - whose law license was once suspended - said he approached the judge presiding over Donald Trump's civil fraud case to offer unsolicited advice about a law at issue in the case. The state's judicial oversight body has launched an investigation into the supposed interaction. The I-Team's Melissa Russo has the exclusive story. NBC New York's Melissa Russo reports.

The case was fraudulent. The judge took it on himself to "apprais" the Trump property in Florida. With no knowledge of or counsel on property values in Florida on property of this type he appraised the the property at the value of the 1800s less than 1/2 what the place is worth today an empty lot that needs developed in that area is worth more than the 18 million he said the fully functional resort is worth more than that in historical value as the Southern White House. Also since the judge ignored the advice of the lawyer.

The part of this story that needs to be investigated is the revelation by the lawyer that during the conversation the judge was interested in facts from other cases and how they related to the Trump case.

The fines are exceptionally excessive and reek of vindictiveness, targeting, and considering the defendant, there's a pall of political persecution. Coupled with the loosely interpreted and antiquated statue of law that the prosecution used and the prejudicial judge and Attorney General with no jury there's an overly obvious violation of the defendant's rights. Both the judge and the AG should be dismissed, disbarred, given jail time and forced to pay Mr . Trump's Court costs and legal fees. Civil damages are also due the Fmr President and as well the damages done to the State of New York and NYC.

This case seems to carry “an odor of mendacity” as one other judge recently wrote in his case judgement. Rom the ethical point of view it may have some merit in seeking further legal intervention to at least explore and to be able to put to rest the transactional jurisprudence that applies and the limits of a casual academic exchange during ex parte interaction.
