My favourite thing about Roswell is that "The wreckage was composed of sticks, tape, tinfoil, and some paper" is proof that it wasn't Project Mogul, but those are somehow still _viable materials for the construction of a spacecraft._

Guaranteed over half are lying, and most if not all are misremembering/mis-identifying things. There was an experiment in the 90's that mimics the Roswell incident nearly to a T with random people to see what they remember. The experiment was nothing more than fake MP's in the desert with a roped off area and junk scattered. Most of the people lied a year later stating there were bodies, threats, massive movement, etc.

How does a supposedly weightless unbreakable metal break apart on impact in sand? Low weight and incredible strength would mean the impact speed would have to be unbelievable and would likely result in a huge crater, never mentioned in the accounts.

@@superbuneary8819 there were also strange symbols found on the material of the crash, so the possibility isn't ruled out. The metal was thin, long, smooth with purple color and had strange markings on it which resembled Egyptian holographic symbols but not exactly.

What really bugs me out is that, if infact it was a weather ballon and that it was a top secret operation.
Why was it that a common civilian (rancher) was the one who discovered the crash site? Why didn't the Airforce took steps to recover the materials from the crash site before anybody else could? Which they most certainly would know of, because they had to be monitoring the ballons if they were operating those missions.
And if they claim that the rancher got there before they could, a good number days had passed after the crash took place. Which is clear enough to prove that the authorities didn't even bother to recover it, and the only reason behind it is that they didn't have a fucking clue about it.

What if... if was a foreign weather balloon that a foreign agent set up? I don’t get why people think this was aliens
There was an immense electrical storm the night before the crash. The ranch foreman Mac Brazel and a young man heard a loud boom during the night. So the next day they went out to see what damage was done to their ranch and that’s when they discovered the wreck. Brazel died of a heart attack only 9 years later.. without giving a proper interview. His obituary or any info on him is hard to find.
I saw an old doc on this, and they said that metallic cellophane wrap was not commonly known of at the time, but did exist. It's basically the stuff you see flowers wrapped in, and has pretty much the exact qualities the material described here has. It may have seemed otherworldy to them at the time since it was a new invention.
Then explain the strange symbols discovered on the material.

Like Shane, I believe extraterrestrials exist. However, humoring the skeptics, I will say that, despite there being many witnesses, I can definitely see a large majority of people hearing about something scary occurring in their town; something so important that the military got inolved and that it was being labeled as an encounter with extraterrestrials, lying and saying what they saw was an alien spacecraft with alien bodies just to sound important or be involved in the case.
Kind of like when you're in a crowd of kids surrounding a fight at school and you get questioned by other students because you were present. The issue is you don't know EXACTLY what happened or who were the ones fighting or why they were fighting, so you choose to piggyback off of the testimonies of those who claim the fight started because of [insert reasons] and that it was between [insert people].
Yeah that’s the thing. That’s too many witnesses to see the actual results. The crash, sure but the results? No.
Which is why I believe actual evidence over witness testimony any day

It's the most horrible nightmare for any government to see large amount of people causing chaos, going on wild protests and demanding stuff from them. In 1973 I was working at a general store in Texas. I was reading a sci-fi novel at the counter. A horse wrangler had stopped by to get a pack of cigarettes. He asked if I believed in that stuff, referring to the book I was reading. I said it was fun reading. He told me that aliens are real. He had been an MP corporal at an Army AF base in New Mexico after the war and that he had been at the site. He said that there were alien bodies that were recovered.
I've always been a skeptic but that's an interesting tidbit.

I actually live in Roswell and at the time this happened Roswell was a war prison to hold German soldiers as well as the location of a lab that built plains and other machines for Americans to fight the war with. The camp was notorious for torturing the German prisoners that were here. The war also resulted in a lot of technical advancement in the world. So my theory is that the ufo was actually a prototype for a new type of plane that crashed and that the aliens were actually Germans that were disfigured as a result of the torture. That also would explain why the military was in such a hurry to move everything and cover it all up. But that’s just my theory on this.
This is the most reasonable explanation I’ve read on CZcams comments about this certain crash. This is for sure most likely what happened.

It was a top secret balloon devised to try and spy on the Russians, basically there is a height hat frequencies will travel really far , the balloon was designed to transmit messages at that height but it fell and the military had to cover it up because the Russians would find out and obviously deploy countermeasures, when the Cold War was over all of this information was declassified search up project Mogul

It's ironic that Ryan mentions the idea of the special weather balloon being a cover up to divert attention from the real cover up because that's exactly what I think the alien story is. I think the government got sloppy, something got out, so to divert focus they made a story that's captured the imaginations of billions over decades: maybe aliens?

It’s positive aliens try covering it up because they know we will never reach time travel capability, and become extinct before that, but the future is changeable, so if we can save ourself we can likely live in a utopia soon.
I find this case very compelling, the battle of Los Angeles in ww2 is also something I find very intriguing, you should cover that one

I’m genuinely freaked out because of the headlines on the news recently. And a month ago my dad went to visit my grandfather who was passing away. And he went fishing and he sent me a video of what looks to be a UFO in the sky. My dad is a hard firm believer in Christianity, which is how I know he’s not lying because I think it’s absurd that he thinks humans are the only ones in this universe. But after he sent me that video, I was shocked to hear him say that he now believes because he saw something that doesn’t belong on this planet.
The part that doesn't make sense is the thin material could not be bent, cut, or burned yet at the crash site the material is bent and cut/torn as part of the wreckage. The amount of energy required to deform this super material would have turned the bodies inside as fleshy mist particles.
