Nitrile gloves. Protects No more hand washing Protects Prevents cuts, prevents toxic fluids exposure. Great filming 👍👍🐮 Google and order the Owner's Manual for your new planter. Greasing, settings, trouble shooting.... Always read your Manuals and get so much more enjoyment from a good working implement. 💚
Hi, congratulations on your new toy, looks like a good one and RYOBI makes a really good product, and the milk house looks really nice and clean, well injoy your new toy and have a grate day 😊 Verne
It is always nice to get something new like the power washer and be very happy with it and it’s always a bummer when you are a bit disappointed. We drink Colombian coffee over here in Ireland for the most part ( I mean in our house, I have no idea what the rest of the country drinks). Glad you’re happy with the planter too.
Congratulations on the new toys. You can’t beat an electric pressure washer. No fumes inside, no engine maintenance and easy to use. I see a lot of corn coming at home lol. Stay well.
Hey Taylor, from Iowa. Congrats on the planter would try to find plates ASAP. They will be hard to find. If you are only planting corn just need those plates. If planting sweet corn would plant 40,000 pop emergence is poor and also germination. Will need a good seed rep to help most are not familiar with plates any more. Good luck!!!! Stan.
Impressive video Tay!! Paint job is top-notch. The planter looks like the one my dad had except it's a little newer. Dad's had all steel packer wheels. In case you don't know about "seed plates" they go in the bottom of the hoppers and depend on what size seed you have. If your plate is wrong, your seed might not fit through or it might over plant the seed. It's one of those things people don't think about because they don't know about it. I remember seeing sets of these hanging on shop walls of various farms I had visited. Good luck with it!!
It's good to see your excitement about getting a corn plant to help your folks. That's very kind of you. It's good to see you laugh and smile about that. Good luck with it. You all be safe out there❤
How often will the “Milk Inspector” show up where you are? Cool planter!!! If I didn’t have “OLD” equipment, I wouldn’t have anything. 😀 Another great video thanks!
miss Taylor those 56 IH planters ARE very good planters.....they never skip and are very easy to work on.....I've owned two of then a 2 row ....hill drop planter and a four row planter like the one you purchased.....good choice.....although I'm partial to IH equipment......
Hopefully the farmer sent the seed plates with it so you don’t have to locate them. I’m sure Brent will help you with the correct plates based on your seed purchase. Good luck with the planter.
Congratulations on your new planter. That's way cool. i hope it works out well for you without having to sink much into it in repairs and maintenance. I'd kind of like to find one myself for food plots.
Hello Taylor good to see you again. I just got a new phone so it's kind of starting all over again LOL. You look amazing as usual I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year
Awesome you will get alot of different uses with that pressure washer. Where ever you buy paint ask them to shake the can in there paint shaker you won't have to worry about mixing it up 😅
A 56 planter is what I grew up with. The seed corn dealers actually gave free seed discs of the right size fir the seed we bought each year. The seed spacing and depth control left much to be desired but it should be fine for a garden.
Nice to have a new toy as you call it. Very good job painting looks real nice. Taylor you are precious young lady being so excited about an old corn planter. Family will be done quick planting next year.
Wow for it's age that planter is in very good clean condition. Keep it inside and cleaned up it'll last a long time. I think there is a company that makes custom plates for if you want to plant things pumpkins or cucumbers green beans and other similar seeded crops. That would be something to look into if you're interested
Another fine episode, Thank you Cowgirl. That sprayer is a game changer. You will have to let us see that planter when its all cleaned up. Merry Christmas to you, Brent and your family.
Good morning Taylor. That milk room looks great. You and Brent have really spent a lot of time repairing the walls, adding windows, and now painting. The corn planter will go a long way in speeding up your planting process. I hope we get to see you use it. With Christmas only a week away are you planning on giving your girls anything special for Christmas? Another interesting video. Keep smiling, stay warm, keep farming so that we can keep watching your great videos. 🐄🚜🎄😉
Hi Taylor been binge watching your videos here in the uk you say your family has a dairy farm would you do a video on your home farm, love your videos ❤
Merry Christmas Taylor. Congrats on finding that corn planter. I am wondering what you are going to be attaching it to? You might be able to use the new pressure washer on your new corn planter to free up the sticky parts, cheers.
I'm a fan of older equipment as well. It seems to be better built and is more likely the right size for my small operation. Some of the new stuff is just to big for me. A few of my hayfields have a ten foot barway. Keep up the good work and have fun with your new toy.
Thanks Tay for showing us your new planter first of many pieces of equipment I hope don’t forget to show it working when you put it to work all you need now is a nice John Deere lol daddy of all tractors stay safe and thanks 👍
You enthusiasm on buying a piece of equipment knows no bounds. Wish you luck with your purchase. You will have to update us when you start using it. I am looking forward to seeing it in action. Your milk room looks good with the new paint on the doors and walls. Stay safe and God Bless.
We used to lime wash everything periodically ( for the co-op inspection). The lime was super cheap but kind of tricky to lay down. Watching the cobweb abatment with the broom I thought it might be faster with a cordless blower. They can be messy, but for blowing down equipment before maintance and after use they are pretty handy too. Good score on the planter and a solid winter project to do in your "spare" time.
Cool planter! My grandpa used a ih 56 planter and an ih 10 drill back in the day to do all his crops in the 80s and early 90s and in those years he and my late dad did up to a 1000 acres of crops with those 2 machines
56 is a good planter but remember to look back every once in while whilst planting and making sure the shafts and chains are spinning. I had to plant a field twice cuz a chain jumped off once
Nice new to you toys for farm and your family. Hope they both meet your expectations. Good old 4 row corn planters are hard to find these days. Most everyone in ME. NH, and VT now wants 6, 9, and 12 rows corn planters.
Hey Taylor, I just came across your channel and it’s great stuff. My neighbor told me You dropped off the planter when I was working up North for a few weeks and when I came back it wasn’t there. We’ll have to get it in before planting next spring.
😅hi!! I’m glad ya think so! Yeah we dropped it off but then we didn’t want it to be in the way and figured your were pretty busy anyway. So we figured we’d try to take it apart ourselves and then bring the part to you. Hopefully the weather will get warmer soon and we can start tinkering on it 🙂
Congratulations on the new purchase it should be quite a asset to the farm out there pressure washer looks like a lotta really good stuff no gas engine to deal with good pressure so should do the trick and not having to restart and restart it all the time that is really nice
Im happy to see your new toys. Still have a gas powered pressure washer here but the electric one is worth its weight in gold. Nice planter too, those old IH 56 planters were the best, it will outlast anything made today. Now as an excuse for another toy youll find yourself looking for an older IH to hook it to, Farmall 560 maybe?
Lovely and interesting video as always Taylor. Wishing you all the best with your new corn planter and hope it goes well for you 😊. Say hello to Brent for us. Wishing you well and all the best regards from pat Brazil 😊.
Congrats on the new pressure washer and the 'new corn planter'!! Will be expecting a video of the corn planter in action!! lol The paint job looks good!
The door u say that u kick open u could nail a thin aluminum plat across to the bottom of the door then all u have to do is wipe it off to clean it. Also u could put a handle up where u push with your hand so u don't touch the door. just saying
Nitrile gloves.

Wow, a girl who gets so excited about buying a corn planter, your one of a kind that’s for sure, and I mean that in a good way!!
Excited for you Taylor. Hoping you'll include us when the planting starts. Some new content for the channel. Best wishes as always, Deb
Very very cool power washer

What a great job of painting, it looks so much better. As for the planter it's not green but I love it!!!! You did good youngin 👍👍👍🙋♂️🙏🐄🐄🐄🚜
Hope the corn planter ends up working well for you

Two new early Christmas presents for you and you your family Tay!

Good luck with the planter! It should work good once you get it cleaned up and gone-through.
We had this planter growing up. Planted a lot of ground with it. Should serve you well
She is the cutest
Congratulations on your new planter. That's way cool. i hope it works out well for you without having to sink much into it in repairs and maintenance. I'd kind of like to find one myself for food plots.
We had a no. 56 for years around here. They're a pretty good ol planter, never had much trouble with it. Should be a good one for you.
Hello Taylor good to see you again. I just got a new phone so it's kind of starting all over again LOL. You look amazing as usual I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year
Looks like that planter just needs a good cleaning. But seems to be in good shape. Good buy.
All the best with you new planter. I hope it give you joy working it and makes life easier
Awesome you will get alot of different uses with that pressure washer. Where ever you buy paint ask them to shake the can in there paint shaker you won't have to worry about mixing it up 😅
Have almost the identical RYOBI pressure washer. It does a fantastic job and is very lightweight.
A 56 planter is what I grew up with. The seed corn dealers actually gave free seed discs of the right size fir the seed we bought each year. The seed spacing and depth control left much to be desired but it should be fine for a garden.
Older equipment is easier to work on. Will make your garden planting easier.
Nice looking corn planter Taylor congratulations 🎉
Thank you!😀 I am excited to try it
Lovely video, best of luck with the planter.
IF YOU COULD FIND A 2 ROW MOUNTED PLANTER THEY WORK GREAT FOR GARDENS! BETTER COVER EVERYTHING ON THAT PLANTER TO KEEP IT FROM GETTING WORSE
Yea I like old equipment as well. Love old cars, trucks, pretty much anything. Have a great Christmas.
Nice to have a new toy as you call it. Very good job painting looks real nice.
Taylor you are precious young lady being so excited about an old corn planter.

We used a planter like that. It is in good shape. That IH planter never had any problems. You got a good deal I think.
Wow for it's age that planter is in very good clean condition. Keep it inside and cleaned up it'll last a long time.
