- Speed is an action classic from the mid-'90s. good concept, good execution, charming actors... we LOVE it. And it cemented Keanu Reeves as a star. But you know that movie still has sins, right? So we counted them up, as we do. Enjoy!
Next week: Animal sins and heist sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

Did you know that speed didnt have a director because if speed had a direction it would be called velocity
Can we be friends?
My Physics professor would love this comment

No, if Speed had direction it would be called travel.
Velocity is exactly the same as speed.

“If they got onto a plane, there’d be pieces of sky missing”
Okay that’s a great line.
That one and the "hail to the bus driver" both had me bursting out loud, forced to pause the video because I could no longer hear it.
Given how there's holes in areas of the ozone layer, it's technically true.
Awesome line!
That was hilarious!
Definitely ..LOL
I would’ve taken 2525 sins off for Alan Ruck’s “oh darn.” I can’t watch this movie without laughing at that
It's so weird, he sounded like he was going to remove a sin for it, then didn't, because of a lame "wrong Alan" joke.
it's one of my favourite movie quotes of all time 😂
Wow funny
Enough c4 to put a hole in the world
No shit?
I always laugh at the part you can tell the shot of the police driving along the bus is at 2x “speed” from the look of the police swaying back and forth. That in its own should have received 10 Sins.
“Annie are you okay? Will tell us Annie?”
And there is likely the first joke he wrote for this episode
This should get more 👍
“It’s ok! All these kids are also full of cans!”🤣🤣🤣
Thats why they arent in school 🤣

Oh
Did he actually say that? I don’t remember that
Oh, the guy talking over the movie said that it was still pretty funny though
Speed is a classic action film even with a few sins. Speed 2: Cruise Control? Talking about its sins could take hours, or even days.
Really Now the sequel deserves a million sins
I went to the movies to see Speed 2 the only thing redeemable about that movie was William Defoe's over the top performance.

@@markjohnson4643 And, looking more closely at 1:45, it's a great call by CinemaSins. Maybe he's an engineer or had an engineer look at it (I'm a mechanical engineer), as the ring really does look like something quickly welded in place and clearly not capable of holding the weight of an elevator cab. Additionally, the metal plate the ring is welded to isn't bolted or otherwise fastened to the cab. It looks like it was simply set down in place and can be picked up and moved around by hand.
I’m going to watch Speed now. I forgot how good this movie was. Pure 90s cheese but in a good way. Plus... 90s Keanu was a beauty.

-Nothing. One of the best summer blockbusters ever. RIP Dennis Hopper.
I've always loved this movie and haven't seen it in years. Just finished watching it and the only thing wrong with this movie is that Harry died. For a movie with the right amount of balance in action, romance, and humor, it could have done without his death. But it was necessary for Jack to grow and solve the problem of getting them off the bus.
