Sometimes teens are overlooked when tragedy strikes. How do teens cope? How can we help them have a voice? How can we get them to speak when they feel they can't even speak to their friends? How can we help them? What do we say?

My mum passed away in February, I’ve been isolating myself too just because I really just don’t think my friends would get it, I’m 18 and I know very few people my age who have lost a parent. It feels so lonely. If you ever want to chat I would be more than happy to. Sending so much love your way

Here is how I deal with my grief I take it really hard I had no deaths recently but a few years ago my crush passed away it still hurts a lot sometimes but I was crying all the time I was so angry and I was pretty depressed it got to the point where I wanted to be with him so bad I've told my friends about this and they told me to go to the vigil and the funeral but it was jus going to traumatize me more :(
