  • This video shares the best 5 hiking trails in Menorca (Minorca). All 5 trails come from the Camí de Cavalls, an ancient path of +185 km (+115 miles) that encircles the island of Menorca, Spain. This long-distance walking route is the GR 223 of the Senderos de Gran Recorrido network in Spain. Reach some of the most inaccessible beaches of Menorca. This is one of the absolute best way to explore the island. This is also one of the best thru hikes as it is not too long, and a great way to jump into the fast growing sport.

In the middle of the mediterranean, awaits a gem so special that few ever get to step a foot on it’s shores.
A small island full of beautiful seaside villages, time tested gastronomy, and endless awe provoking landscapes.
    Minorca!
Different from it’s other Balearic siblings by being the only island designated by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. Creating a land preserved in a raw state of existence, free from the spoils of overdevelopment.
The best way to absorb all the island has to offer is by literally walking it’s entire coast. That’s right!
Each year avid explorers arrive here to complete a 185 kilometer thru hike, known as the Camí de Cavalls.
Here you will stumble across beaches that you only thought existed in your dreams, and awaiting those with a yearning for a real adventure.
So join me as I set out on foot to discover this diverse and rugged destination.

yep Cala Turqueta to Cala Saldana is a nice trip.
But if you really want the perfect day and see many more in easy steps you must start at Santo Tomas beach and walk to Cala Galdana.

Truly excellent video, thanks. Subjectively I think there are other sections of the cami that have equal claim to rank in the top 5 The cost is gorgeous and the stretches around Cala Pillar, Turqueta, Mitjana, Trebaluger, Algeriens etc are equally stunning IMO

Today I met this impressive exploring site of yours: I wanna follow the course you've taken mostly.
What would be the range of cost of room-staying a night: That information will be much helpful for my month-long plan.

Wonderful places! But I can't imagine hiking over there with such sandals ;-)

a lot of people told me that. The truth is I switched to sandals once my feet were getting uncomfortable in the shoes...to let them breath.

Hello. Thanks for the tips. I have one question. How did you get back to the startpoint or to wherever you went next? I want to rent a car so I need to get back to it 🙂.
