Good job Mitch. That is a fly by wire system consisting of a Throttle actuator control (TAC) and Throttle position sensor (TPS).By removing it and cycling the key, you were able to have it re calibrate itself. Most automobiles do it every time you cycle the key. Some need a scan tool. The ECM calibrates it by feeling the load of increased amperage when plate stops all the way open then it cycles closed and detects the same. The number one issue causing that is sticky dirt holding plate closed so it grabs during key cycle and goes haywire. 2nd is internal issues or slightly loose connector terminals. Keep up the great work. I have 2013 PCX 150 but I want a Burgman and a Helix. I am watching all your videos.
    Thank You

Thank you for this one! Finally got my '07 back on the road. Had to park her because of this miserable C28 code, then some major surgery kept me off the road for a couple of years. Sucked out the old gas, put fresh in, and she started up like a champ, but of course... the FI light. Spent an hour yesterday afternoon, followed your steps, and FI is gone! The hardest part was getting the air hose off of the thing! Looking forward to spending time in the Burgie again.

I have a 2008 an400 and when I used the screwdriver like you did to turn the actuator it’s spring loaded so it doesn’t adjust so I just opened the valve all the way like you did and reinstalled the actuator a little off the paint marking alignment like you did at the end of the video and it worked!!! FI code is off and throttle power is back to full power!!! Thanks so much Mitch .... you da man!

I just repaired my 08' B-man as-per your vid. When I turned the screwdriver clockwise the stva's spring made it return to the same position. I did everything else you did and moved it until the "noise", backed off a hair, then tightened it. After a couple tries I finally got it working properly.

Thats a good fix, I was thinking that there was some dirt on the flap stopping it from moving. I'm guessing that the ECU re-learns the positions for the flap so putting the actuator back at a different position won't affect it too much.

Najbliższy to 110 km w Szczecinie. Pozdrawiam : Adam.

Przeczyścili całą instalację elektryczną i to miało pomóc ?

Hi Mitch, I have suzuki burgman 200, year 2015. I have a problem with overcharge problem. My I know, where the regtifier position is? And is it possible replace the original regtifier with other brand with the same load, such as regtifier of honda tiger or kawasaki? Thank you Mitch.. GBU
