A great video, I love to see old cusses like me riding super bikes. I’m currently riding a Ducati Multistrada, thinking of trading for a KTM 1290 to lower the weight.
I'm torn between getting a 790 AdvR or the 890 Duke, but these look very appealing lol. This gonna be next year, to go with my little pocket rocket 800 cc Ducati cafe racer. Slight snag is, though, as I mentioned before in comments, no f***ing KTM dealers in the North East. Just abysmal, KTM UK! So, I'll, probably go used, so I don't have to ride bloody miles for servicing. It's a real pisser, though. Loving these vids, mate. Good riding from you and the boys, too....nothing fancy and nothing stupid, just good old letting it rip in the right places.
@@GMANS_BIKES_CARS No, I disagree. KTM still has a lot of competition, *good* competition lol, and it's up to them to have a reputable and thorough UK dealer network. Unless, of course, they only want to sell bikes south of Leeds lol. I'm not going to travel nearly 100 miles to demo, possibly buy, and return for servicing when I can get other excellent bikes on my doorstep. There's probably never been a better time to buy a motorcycle due to the choice and tech advances available. Fortunately, if I do get a KTM next year, there are plenty good, low mileage used bikes within a sensible travel distance.
Think it’s road legal in the uk, and yea it is loud but the police are not interested in my area, some countries like Germany have far stricter rules 😐
@@GMANS_BIKES_CARS yeah I had watched a CZcams doing a review recently with the db tester and he got 106DB so it would be illegal in Germany which was for the v3 mini can problem is I live in London and police are everywhere this is the bike I wanna get next but not sure what end can to get to avoid any stops by police
Hi mate, non homo, may try with baffle in but as I always wear ear plugs so it’s fine for me, but maybe a bit loud for other people but Atleast they hear me coming 😜

Hi! Lovely video. I’m getting my 2020 SDR next week. I want to buy a slip on exhaust and have been drooling over Austin racing quite a bit. Are all those on your bikes just slipons with or without decat or entire systems? Do you hear much difference between stock and aftermarket?
@@GMANS_BIKES_CARS oh really, is that so!? But if the sound is great and all you lack is some extra weight saving and a few extra horsepowers which comes with a full system. I'm definitely getting an Austin Racing Slipon pretty soon!
what is the displays on the 2017+ like? im looking to buy my dad a superduke but struggling with year as i think a 2016 SDR SE is a beautiful bike, and i seen videos where you go under trees on a sunny day, the display flashes light and dark mode, seems like that would get a bit annoying, but the 2020 looks drop dead gorgeous imo
My 2019 bike you see in the video has the older Tft which does go from dark to light in different conditions but I’m now used to it and didn’t annoy me, I also think the new 2020 bikes tft is a bit big and there’s not need to show the speedo in those giant numbers 😜
You say lighter turning, my 2017 was lowered quarter inch front and back for me when I bought it and dealer said it could create lighter turning, I don’t think it’s affected the geometry in any way.

Hi mate, I love my 2.0 as I find it way more comfy than the 3.0 as that hurts my wrists as you are leant forward more, but as a complete bike the 3.0 is way better is most ways, also I prefer the look of my 2.0 but that’s just my opinion 😉

What was that you said about your brakes ? Mine seem to rub too when I'm moving it about at home ? Bikes sound ace , you can't beat the Austin racing pipe 👌🏻
Yes mate after a while the brake pads start rubbing on the discs and you feel it at low speeds, I spray my Wurth brake and chain cleaner on the pads and it does the trick until the next time a few 100miles later 🙄

You will have to travel mate to find the right bike and to be fair you only need to go to that dealer once a year for a service 👍

Yea mate, all slip ons and way louder than standard, if you fit a full system in the uk you void your warranty 😬

Sounds a good idea, the front of the 2020 bike feels twice as sharp and light 😬

Never bothered to put the dB killer in so don’t know, it’s perfect without it and not silly loud 👍
