The votes are in! In part 1 the FZ300 was the winner in focusing and exposure, can the FZ1000ii make a comeback? Leave your vote in the comment section below.
I have just ordered the FZ300 based on your videos. I was a little concerned about the small sensor but your videos show that there is nothing to worry about in that regard. That more reliable autofocus is just a deal-maker. Thanks for the videos. They are a great help.
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. The 1/2.3 sensor is better than some people would like to give it credit. Panasonic and Canon used it in some of their 1000.00 dollar plus video cameras.
Thank you so much for doing this. I just discovered your channel, but you helped me save a lot of money and time by showing that the FZ300 can hold its own and even outclass the FX1000ii in the kind of video most people would do most of the time. Great channel!!
Thank you for watching! For a camera that is half the price of the FZ1000ii the one on the right the FZ300, I will pick it up first when I am going out the door.
Both cameras take very good pictures, for Facebook, CZcams, Instagram are anywhere you want to post your photos. You can also print them you can get very good prints up to 30x40 inches are 76x102cm

The FZ300 was almost always right and produced the better images in this mode. On the test bench it may fare not so good. In the real world however the FZ300 is good. The slight lesser sharpness in some situation as a result of the much smaller sensor is bearable.
Hi George, thanks great job great reviews. i was about to buy a use fz1000 ii when i watched your tests. On this this video i'm not clear which side of the screen is the fz300 vs fz1000 ii ? what right left are we talking about ? can you write it on the video like you did on the other test ? overall on this one the fz300 looks far better than the fz1000 ii. How can this be possible since the fz1000 ii is more recent, has better specs on the paper and costs much higher ? Lastly how does these two Lumix compare to a Nikon P1000 with its super mega zoom. I have a Canon SX540 HS that i want to replace with an incredible 50X optical zoom + 200X numeric zoom. Incredible for shooting the moon for instance. The Lumix looks very poor for zooming. Greatings from France :-)
When it comes to zooming no camera can compare to the P1000 it is also more than just a zoom camera you can get very good video and pictures out of it. In this video the FZ1000ii is on the left the FZ300 is on the right with you facing the screen. I do not know if it is the smaller sensor on the FZ300 but even with both cameras set up the same, I think it gives better images. The advantage the FZ1000ii has is in low light.
У меня сложилось впечатление, что камеру слева (FZ10002) случайно или сознательно поставили вне фокуса. У меня есть эта камера (10002) ,она дает очень четкое изображение. На мой взгляд данный тест некорректен.
The autofocus is why I have a love/hate relationship with Panasonic cameras. I do not think they are going to give up on contrast-based autofocus any time soon.

Except in low light, I used the FZ300, too me it is better in autofocus and easier to manual focus
Thank you for the video sir. The one on the right looks better in my opinion.
Thank you for watching. The one on the right the FZ300 is getting most of the votes.
Definitely the one on the right! Very revealing tests.
George, I liked the one on my right, better color and seemed to focus better.
Good video Georg FZ300 better focus I have the FZ300 and use it only on IA mode.
Another vote for the one on the right. Footage is a little darker but crisper image and better color.
The camera on the viewers right was sharper. The contrast was also more pleasing,
to my eye at least.

I own both cameras value for money the 300 is the better all round choice
Thank you for watching. Most of the time when I am walking out the door, I will pick up the FZ300 over the FZ1000ii
This camera can take pictures, what can be put on facebook? And how well do they look? Thanks.
