    La Fz300 es la bomba!!!!

The 300 was better to my eyes in most of the tests. The 1000 had better colour in other scenes. For the outro, the 1000 has focused on the background where the 3000 remained tack sharp. Cool comparison though.

The focusing is the main problem that is holding Panasonic cameras back. The focus box will be on your face blinking green and it looks in focus on the LCD but when you look at it on a monitor the background is in focus. You never know when you will lose video because of this on-again-off-again problem.

I think the 1000 had better metering/white balance, the 300 seemed to be in focus more consistently.

Thank you for watching! The focusing on the FZ300 is why I used it more over the 1000ii. The 1-inch sensor 1000ii is better in low light but if it will not focus what good is it.

@@georgeeharrison4293 Very well said. I am currently deciding between these cameras and I think I would prefer the more reliable focusing of the FZ300. The advantages of the FZ1000 seem to minor compared to accurate and fast focusing. Thanks for great review.

@@brianbr5388 The main advantage of the FZ1000ii over the FZ300 is in low light when I used it the most. The one I pick up first going out the door is the FZ300.

@@georgeeharrison4293 I was never a great fan of low light photography. Going back to my film days I was taught to shoot only in good light. That has never left me. I have made up my mind to go for the FZ300. The focus being more reliable and not having to worry about it is a big deal for me. Great video. Again thanks.

For me fz300 is must have - waterproof. - I am sad that the highest end Lumix don't have water sealing - I like bird photography

Hopefully, if they do make an update to the FZ2500 it will have weather sealing. I have taken my FZ300 out into some very heavy rain and it is still doing fine.

the 1000 had bad autofocus. I was thinking of buying it but maybe Iäll buy the 300 instead

Thank you for watching! The autofocus is the reason I have a love/hate feeling toward the FZ1000ii. When it works it is dead on, WHEN IT WORKS.

Agreed!!! The FZ1000 was really quite bad.
