Your 1st kiddo is driving!! Oh how nerve racking I remember feeling when it was my oldest too! It is actually awesome to have teen drivers though. "Hey darling, after work could you pop over to the store for me?" Great stuff seriously!😂❤

Oh my word... your oldest is driving already? Time is surely slipping by, Mel! I remember being too nervous when my son started to drive. My hubby took him to Route 66 in California to practice. He is an awesome driver now at 32.. It's that first time of asking your daughter to go to the market for you, that it will hit you how grown up she is.... and how much faith you have in her. You have had a busy busy week girl! Not that you asked for advice.... but I would have the kids do a ten minute tidy before they go to bed so you don't have to wake up to a disaster the next day, Yup if they leave it out.. it goes to the charity bin. Maybe? Perhaps? Nah? LOL.. whatever you do it's your choice. But remember it's your home too.

Yes, I have had four kids through the Qld licence system so far. 100 hours, 12 months then you can do your test. Red "P's" for one year then Green "P's" for 2 years, then Open Licence. One more child for me to go, she'll get her learner's at the end of April next year. We're doing manual lessons, so have to own a manual car... will be so happy when I can let that go and replace it with an automatic - I am so over driving a manual, done it for 30 years haha!

I was nervous when my twins started driving but honestly it’s so amazing. It relieves the pressure from having to drive them everywhere. I love the idea of saving money to be able to take a day off each Friday.
What? 4:55 and it’s basically full sun already?! Here, in Indiana, the sun doesn’t come out like that until about 8:30.
Is there anything you could take off your plate to make Fridays easier? Or that you could do ahead? Like you used to do meal prep sometimes, so could you do Friday's meals on Wednesday or Thursday?
I'm like you each day ok i'll just do this and come back and then ... oh woops it's the next day ....
Christmas is making me sad. Why????
Dang. 14.5 years old for a learner permit in Idaho and then 60 hours supervised driving. Older is better, though.
