If people are killing each other, it should be the children killing the parents or everyone killing themselves. Parents make kids feel obligated to care for them when they didn't need to have the kids to begin with. Parents are obligated to care for their kids not the other way around. parents shouldn't resent their children, if it applies it should be the other way around but parents use their authority &other people's authority or the excuse of love to get what it is that they want. Not all children hate or have a reason to hate/resent their parents &you can't really determine what it takes to hate/resent someone, some people do it over the simplest things. Something simple to you may be complicated to someone else. It's pretty sad that GG ended up over dosing on heroin sometime after this recording, he's mentioned in a song of his own how he didn't want to see anyone &wanted to od. Hindsight that no one really learns from, mostly because it's entertaining& you have a lot of people still living trying to convince everyone else of things that may not be fully true. Plenty of artists& people still do this, but again you never know what's genuine or for "clout" until "oops, too late". 9/10 it's clout. It'd be interesting to know how many suicides in the industry are genuine suicides.
Anyone know what year this was from? (I need to form a mental picture of what GG looked like while playing this.)
All said, I've always envisioned the late 70's GG images associated with the 1980 ”Always Was, Is and Always Shall Be" album as pretty on-point with the stage of life Allin was visually at during this recording (especially that iconic North Station photo of GG leaning against a car, with a dressed up gal smoking in the foreground).
I still would love to know more about the meeting, development, and [lack of] continued collab. between these two.
