- The Orchestra at The Phantom Of The Opera in London saw a Tweet from Andrew Lloyd Webber playing “All I Ask Of You” from isolation. As a response to this, every member of the orchestra individually contributed a video, audio or photo from isolation to show their support and respect for Andrew.

Just a little proud of my mad brother at top left who pulled all this together.
Philip Bain GREAT BIG ❤️THANK YOU TO YOUR INSANELY CREATIVE BROTHER!!!!!!
Philip Bain you should be 😊
That's very sweet of you Philip! x
@@chrisbain3958 Hi Chris Bain. This is amazing!! I am very interested to understand how you managed the latency issues inherent in our network infrastructure. I am in a band and we would like to do this for our neibourhood. Do you have any advice on the apps or software required to pull this off on a much smaller scale? Thanks in advance.
And rightly so!
Can we just appreciate how an ENTIRE ORCHESTRA came together to create this? I love the performing arts community
I really love it what they have done
Truly amazing what we humans can do with ...talent and technology. We can overcome barriers. Thank you.
Love this! Are we not gonna talk about the trombonist dressed up as the Phantom?! High quality content right here. Beautifully played! Love this orchestra!
Glad somebody noticed!
This is exactly what I was thinking! I didn't have to scroll too far down to see someone mention it so that's good.
Lol. I was thinking the same thing.
I love the French horn player reading a book until half way through!
yes he slyed love trumpets so much!!!
The French horn reading the book omg
Why change the habit of brass pit life. 😁
Joey Chan at 0:40! At the very right hand corner
That cracked me up so much. I was waiting to see which instrument he played. Brass or percussion
OMG yes! He made my day.
he made my day XD
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen since the beginning of the quarantine. ❤️
Absolutely!!! Thank you to all you talented people. I wave back to you!👋
Its very special indeed...i think we were all touched by this Andrew's lovely initial contribution... And this was a lovely answer to say we are all thinking of him...
I agree with you 100%!!! ❤ to all from California!
I agree. Brought tears to my eyes, it’s so beautiful.
Wonderful, tears in my eyes!!!
You made me cry. Again. Stay home. Stay safe. All of you. Greetings from Greece.
Also from Greece. Also made me cry and whisper the lyrics.

From Florida USA too.💕
Hello from Ireland🇮🇪😊 stay safe
@@tinakyriazis4491 hello patrida! Stay safe!
About 18 months ago I was going through aggressive cancer treatment. Occasionally, we’d have a Clarinetist come into the cancer center and play for us while we were receiving out treatment. I never actually saw who was playing but the beautiful music filled the halls. They always started with All I Ask Of You. It’s such a beautiful memory from such a dark time in my life.
No more talk of darkness
Forget these wide-eyed fears
I'm here, nothing can harm you
My words will warm and calm you
Let me be your freedom
Let daylight dry your tears
I'm here, with you, beside you
To guard you and to guide you
Say you love me every waking moment
Turn my head with talk of summertime
Say you need me with you now and always
Promise me that all you say is true
That's all I ask of you
Let me be your shelter
Let me be your light
You're safe, no one will find you
Your fears are far behind you
All I want is freedom
A world with no more night
And you, always beside me
To hold me and to hide me
Then say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Let me lead you from your solitude
Say you need me with you, here beside you
Anywhere you go, let me go too
Christine, that's all I ask of you
Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime
Say the word and I will follow you.
Share each day with me
Each night, each morning
Say you love me!
Raoul
You know I do
Anywhere you go, let me go to
Love me, that's all I ask of you

They should get a pay raise...

also please check my video singing the part on this video
czcams.com/video/EDSX1Fg4UUY/video.html
They're not getting paid now.
I love the grandiose cymbal crash🤣 So pretty, I love this song
My brother and I sing this song together from our fence down the street, and it echoes in a super fun way, sometimes we get people in the apartment complex across from us to look out on their balconies at us😂
Hey Ashley! I’m the bro she mentioned lel
Please video that😂
scream fanatic, I’m gunna
Ashley McCutcheon totally the best bit!! Love this to bits tho!! Can’t stop playing it! Keep singing!
Well keep up the good work 🇮🇪😊
If you've seen Andrew's original video all the way to the end, he confesses that he can't play this in the original D♭ anymore, so he transposed it to C. So I assume the orchestra had to do the same. Not easy.
These musicians are incredibly skilled. They could probably transpose it in their head with relative ease.
@@adam4757 It depends on the musicians and their instruments. It depends on the way they were taught as well.
Depends on how much theory you know. :)
This might come off as ignorant, but why can't he play it in Db anymore if it's on piano?
It’s a half step down lmao that’s not hard at all
I want to summon the whole of the planet to see this! ENCORE!
This song always makes me cry.. without fail!!
I choked up listening to it, but I was also humming along! I love Phantom, and this song as well!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I read "Phantom of the Opera" for the first time late last year and recently had the privilege of discovering this song... I fell in love with it immediately. All I Ask of You has and continues to profoundly move me; for this I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for allowing beauty to inspire you to make this wonderful work of art. Through this piece-- the words, the instruments, even the silence of it-- I, in my early teenage years, have experienced in some small way what true, pure and unconditional love looks like. Thank you 💕
Same, only I’ve been exploring it all since reading the book two weeks ago
Julia Martin Watch the 25th Anniversary production of Phantom of The Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, it’s the greatest cast ever assembled. You’ll love it.
Julia Martin I would love to read the book! I know there are a lot of different versions, any recommendations?
@@thatperformer3879 Thank you so much! It was the first recording that I ever watched and I absolutely loved it. The colours, vocals, acting... it's so perfect.
@@purplebrownie5175 Hi there! I don't own any copies of the book, so I can't say that I'm able to suggest the best version, but I did listen to a really wonderful audio recording of Phantom by Libravox. You can find the one with the readers I listened to at the CZcams channel "Full Audiobooks". I believe there is a alternate recording from Libravox with different readers at the channel "Greatest Audiobooks". I hope this helps! Enjoy 😁
This was so beautiful, to see all of the phantom orchestra come together to make such beautiful music. So beautiful ot made me cry.❤❤
I just sent this video to my friends. I don't know who could listen to it and not believe that the world will survive. Thank you all for the courage and hope your gifts bring to us.
"MUSIC -- the only art of Heaven we bring to earth and the only art of earth we take back"
This what I need in these quarantine :")
Completely MASTERPIECE
@@m0ronicfr3ak Seria mil vezes melhor se fosse o Erik, e não tivesse a frase "No more talk of darkness", e sim "No more talk of sadness" ou "solitude"...
Não tô falando da sua obra prima Solitude, mas sim no significado da palavra kkk ❤

Thank you so much Andrew and to everyone who took part, a real delight, and well done for the joy you are giving in these difficult times.
I was really touched beyond words.. In view of corona virus, musicians still can play together. Music does not only transpire all language, but transpire all barriers , like viruses. It also transpire a heart of a psychosis patient once is part of them. Some say being a doctor can save lives, but being musicians actually save more hearts. Hope everyone around the world can stay strong can continue to have the endeavour to fight our battle of corona virus.Since young, I love phantom of the opera , Les Merisable , , Sunset Boulevard, Evita, cats. The songs are not only remarkable but sensational with different kind blogging storyline. How I wish to have a chance to see them in Broadway.
Isabella Lee very well said!
This brightened my day after my show got cancelled. :)
Ahh i'm in tears ;; this is wonderful💜
That brought tears to my eyes. We're all in this together...❤
Even in quarantine, the power of music can bring us all together. This made me cry. 😭 Wonderful performance. ❤️❤️
This made my day so much better, thank you to everybody for this, you’re amazing amazing people
I cried so hard, this was absolutely beautiful, well done Sir Andrew and company.
I'm watching this over and over so I can see each live performer. And I am still tearing up each time. So wonderful. Thank you for making and sharing this with the world ❤
This was so beautiful! You can really tell how much work they put into their art! Please stay safe too!
The way music connects us is so beautiful ♥️. People, we are in this together!!! Love from Greece 🇬🇷
This is exactly what I needed thank you so much
This brought a tear to my eye, it's such a beautiful gesture and performance. This shows us how we can be together while being apart.
This is the best piece of music I have heard during this incredible time. I have listened to and watched this clip over and over today. I don't see what else can surpass this beautiful 2020 rendition...
I got to see Phantom Of The Opera and the West End Broadway in London for my 18th Birthday present 2 years ago and I loved it! Ever since then I can’t get Phantom Of The Opera out of my mind. The music is amazing, the show is amazing. My favourite song is All I Ask Of You and Music Of The Night. I would often sing Phantom Of The Opera songs with my Step Grandad while he plays the Piano. I got to see the Show with my Grandad, Dad and my Dads friend and also my Sister.
I am tearing when listening to this in this hard time. Thank you very much, we all need good music.
💖 Thank You to the Maestro's Magical Musical Universe !!! 💫🎆
👏 Congratulations ! 🌹💞💕

Literally crying watching this.... Everyone is just amazing
Power to the people' coming together thank you, Lord Webber.
I wipe the tears from my eyes and imagine I was there again in London watching Sarah and Micheal sing.
This is a beautiful, piece. Truly a wonderful collaboration of skilled musicians. thank you for inspiring us during this time of loneliness & isolation. Sending love and prayers to the performers & all read this from C.C., in Westbury, NY
Thank you. Thanks a lot for bringing such a gorgeous clip in such a difficult time. We will all get through this and meet with your music in the theatre.
I’m literally at work crying at how beautiful this is. This is my favorite song in the musical too. Oh my goodness!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

👏👏👏👏👏 Bravíssimi!!! That's why I ❤️ Phantom of the Opera!! Thanks for this beautiful video, be strong and stay healthy everybody! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
I listen to phantom of the opera 3 times a week in various online media areas. 💖💖💖
That was incredible and brought a tear to my eye. WOW! Thank you all.
Well done everybody. This is wonderful, life affirming and spirits-raising in dark times. Thank you.
Bravo!!! Thank you for bringing great music and joy to us! Andrew's dog is a star too! We live in NYC and wonder when we will be able to see the Phantom again on Broadway.
Would you please play "Music of The Night"? Let the dream begin! Stay safe! God bless you all!
Simply the MOST beautiful thing I watched since this social distancing or self- isolating time! Thank you!
I was scheduled to fly to London yesterday and watch Phantom of the Opera with my girls tonight in West End - this is as good!
Best musical ever conceived. It will never be replaced.
Beautiful from South Africa.
My give my greatest respect to all the orchestra members! I am over-powered by all of your hearts. Can you see? This is like the most powerful collective prayer during isolation!
What a beautiful, touching gesture! Well done everybody! We, the public, are the privileged benefactors of this wonderful result. Thank you.
Beautiful ❤
This is Beautiful!
My husband played this (piano) for our daughter's wedding. This virtual version makes me cry even more because as I watched I wasn't even nervous that he would a mistake....not a professional musician, but plays the most beautiful versions of the songs I love. He's a keeper and so is this video.
This song is one of my favorite song from the movie. So glad I found this. This is so beautiful🥰
Simply beautiful job everyone! I honestly don't like operas but this one has been my favorite since I was a kid! Absolutely love the music in it!
I totally agree with you - beautiful! But, sorry, the Phantom is not an opera. It's a musical. But it really comes close to opera due to ALW's stunning musical genius.
Greetings from Germany!
Angelauska Yes, April probably still doesn't like operas!
13 of these people just lost their jobs as the UK Phantom orchestra will be reduced by almost half upon its return. This was incredibly beautiful, and UK audiences will no longer be able to enjoy the gorgeous harp, the oboe, the percussion, the trumpets, the horns, or the lush string section, and the West End will be a darker, less joyful place for it.
This made me cry. Thank you for sharing and to all the musicians for making this beautiful music during this difficult time. Stay safe everyone, take care.
That was abolotely fantastic. Loved every moment of it. Please more like this. Thank you so much.
this is absolutely beautiful 💖 stay safe everyone
This is beautiful 😍❤️❤️😍❤️
Once everything settles, I will definitely watch this again! 🌹
Burst into tears. So beautiful
Beautiful. Only pray they can make a living again soon.
Omg this is perfect
Couldn't help but tear up and sing along. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.
Something magical about how music lifts the soul....I love this musical!
love that the guy playing the french horn was reading a book before his part came in lmao
I love the creative ways some people are coping and how they're spreading a little uplifting cheer. Don't know why anyone would downvote this.
I wish I could like this a million times! Just beautiful, thankyou so much for the Joy. 🥰🙏🏻
Wow this is so beautiful...I love the unique collaboration just proving how wonderful and creative humanity can be!!!
