Watch the BBC first on iPlayer đ bbc.in/iPlayer-Home Nigella delivers her final serving of feelgood food in this episode, sharing the origins of some of her latest recipe ideas and revealing just how and why they came into being.
There is a beautiful bowl of steamed clams with Thai basil - a recipe that was inspired by Nigella's recent holiday in Thailand.
Then there is Nigella's toasty olive oil granola, which is born out of a need to have a satisfying breakfast at the ready, even on the busiest of mornings. Hunger pangs at the other end of the day led to Nigella's griddled halloumi with a sweet chilli sauce.
Finally, Nigella's friends are treated to a 'bav and pav' feast for supper - griddled bavette steak for main course, followed by a luscious lemon pavlova for pud.

The ambiance and setting paired with Nigella and her seductive vocabulary, really takes cooking to a new level.
bee pot lol
Exactly. She lets us know that cooking (a usually tedious chore) should be just as enjoyable as eating :)
She comes off like an overheated phone sex operator.
it's called being super rich
The lighting and music create a really confusingly sexy atmosphere
Haven't you ever heard of the term, food porn? LOL
All Nigella recipes are sexy
@@raoucherania2530 shes sexy too!!!! great cook
I was about to say âdamn Nigella, thatâs the sexiest dessert Iâve ever seen.â And then this is the first comment I come across đđđ
This is soft core cooking.
Why do I always feel like I need a cigarette after watching a Nigella Lawson video?
That's all of us :3
Because itâs nice to smoke after dessert.
I'm sure it's not just a cigarette... đ€ź
Me too. And I don't even smoke.
@@gulmerton2758 Iâm not sure itâs dessert, even ...
She speaks English with elegant accent and an excellent vocabulary
She is a little chichi, too
Oh, well. She is English after all.

I never watch Ms Lawson for the recipes. Just her beautiful voice and the relaxed ambience of her lifestyle.
Drake Drones I watch her because the subtle sexiness fascinates me. Sheâs quite skilled at the slow seduction.
What would Nigella's show be without adjectives? :)
fattening! ;)
tara shaw with or without nigelas food is fattening hahahahah
Better
rubenmsk Oh pipe down you insignificant children and get back to your fattening ready meals đ
I was always a fan of Nigella. Her shows always made me so comfortable and relaxed. I love the lights and atmosphere and her lax way of cooking. Nigella makes me happy!
I can watch Nigella cook all the time. I love the connection she has with cooking. Itâs comforting and inspiring to watch.
I made this last year for Christmas. It's delicious, light and gooey inside, with a bit of a taste of lemon.
Opinion question, I'm looking to this recipe but including whipped topping and a blueberry compote. I was wondering if there was enough of a lemon flavor in the pavlova. Would it be overkill to add lemon extract to the whipped topping?
I was JUST thinking about how this needed to be a thing. You've got all those egg whites being used, and lemon curd is a brilliant way to use the yolks. Cheers!
I would just like everyone to know that i am currently watching this at 4:04 am and my stomach cant take it anymore...
I need this now!!!
i love watching her. she always makes me feel like itâs christmas at any time of the year (and i donât even celebrate christmas but i love the vibes)
Googled the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
Serves: 8-12
METRICCUPS
6 egg whites
1Ÿ cups superfine sugar
2œ teaspoons cornstarch
2 unwaxed lemons
œ cup slivered almonds
1Πcups heavy cream
1â cups jar lemon curd (see intro)
Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees, turn the temperature down to 300 degrees and bake for one hour. Remove and cool at room temperature, or in the oven with the door open if your kitchen is too cool.
I lovve nigella. Her shows are litterally foodporn
I can see passion in her eyes..as she cooks and speaks.. love her show !!
a woman of witty verbs and adjectives. she is my favorite to watch. her recipes are great and makes you think you can get in the kitchen and whip it up that way too. AMEN TO TALENT!!!!!
I was skeptical about this version of Pavlova because I really love the classical Pavlova. Then I tried it. Now itâs my favorite! Thank you!

She is very clear at explaining all the steps of the recipe , she is beautiful đđ
Your mesmerizing voice and descriptive narration make it sound as sumptuous as it looks!
she uses dim lighting like you are watching her cook in a cafe in the evening....totally different than the bright lights of many cooking shows...IMHO
Older women look better under dim lights...why nightclubs are dim also. Its all about appearance with that voice!
Absolutely love Nigella Lawson, very few people make me hungry enough by just watching the shows. Thank you so much Nigella, youâre the best :)))

Iâm making this for Easter today. I donât have lemon curd but I will put some strawberry jam on it and then follow the rest of the recipe. It looks amazing in the oven right now! Iâm really excited.
I made this lemon pavlova everything from scratch and it turned out very good. Thank you for a lovely recipe.

Queen of messy cooking!
Looks absolutely delicious. Still am surprised.... what have you done with the yolks Nigella? They were ideal for the lemon curd!
Once the video stops playing I discover I have a goofy smile on my face. All the while. And my day so far hasn't been great. But, well, it's Nigella (and I utter her name with the same amount of awe, wonder and reverence, as I say the word 'magic')!
I made this one! Absolutely scrumptious, simple and with loads of lemony tang! Highly recommend this one.

Sheâs amazing đđđŹđ§
To make it that wee bit more Aussie use passionfruit curd instead of lemon then drizzle the cream with passionfruit pulp.
Nic D Oh, yeah!! đđŒ
Oh that sounds unreal, thanks!
Are Aussies that big fans of passionfruit?
Aussie????? Im a Kiwi and we actually made the Pavlova here in NZ very early in history, why do Aussie have to steal our thunder?? Look up the facts 1927 in New Zealand
Lisa Chaney she didnât say that pavlovas were Aussie, said âto make it more Aussieâ, not sure if NZ use passion fruit on their pavs but Aussies generally do. And the Aussie/NZ debate has been around for decades.. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavlova_(cake)
Why use lemon đ curd from a jar after all that work? Use the leftover egg yolks from the meringue and make the lemon curd from âscratchâ! The flavor is superior to anything out of a âjarâ!
100% I made this last summer with real lemon curd....the people at the party were falling at my feet
She actually does include a recipe for lemon curd with this pav recipe in the Simply book and on her website...
HOW to?
I was looking for this comment!

I looooove anything lemon, and I looooove meringue. The two together is heaven. This is something I will definitely make. Iâve used lemon curd with puff pastry and whipped cream. Bake the pastry in squares. But top a few with sanding sugar before baking to use as tops. Layer the squares with curd mixed with some whipped cream. Then top the stack (usually 2-3 squares) with sweetened plain whipped cream. Yum!!
I love the way she talks about food. So sensual đ
I've made this pav twice already. Top stuff!
hydraeus I made it today, even going the extra step and making lemon curd too...it's absolutely amazing!
Nice to hear. Thanks for the positive feedback.
How long do you cook and at what temp? She never says..
How did you make the cream? I couldnât find the recipe. I made the meringue today.

This is obscenely delicious.
London looks wonderful in this new series, the funky music sounds like BB King and old Motown. I've read that some of the music is created specifically for the show. And lastly, I did hear some talking in the background.
Never has "foodporn" been a more apt moniker.
+MenwithHill exactly!
Lol, I was wondering if anyone else noticed the mutterings of the production team. Those mics pick up everything!
IIRC in this episode, she had a dinner party and itâs the guests that can be heard talking in the background.
