I think the Cloud on the Nacht list is literally S fodder for LB Cloud. He is over fixing for lightning with stuff like the moogle to have access to at least 2 lightning from backups to pay the LLLL cost.
That might be the case. I think I’d run pod cloud for that - can turn into a Diana or a Alba if needed while demanding removal but I don’t hate the idea.
I think you are missing that the lightning back up shantotto kills Cid Randell off a T1 Larsa/Sarah (FFL) into it T2 if your opponent T1 Cid Randell. Makes it so you are not having to use Little Leela or Cuch to get out of that situation. And given they are not running LL, who needs to survive a turn in the first place, it makes sense... granted still a 1-of that is non-searchable.
That’s true. It does do that. I still feel like Mootie with a Bahamut of choice does the job better while adding utility to the deck but Shantotto does help there.
i think top NA players, just don't enjoy aggro, but most recognize how good it is, but in general there are a lot of players who still play aggro. Esp 13, ice lightning etc
I suppose. It’s hard to call a place the “land of aggro” when the entirety of top cut isn’t on the premiere aggro deck and basically didn’t experiment at all with 14 OTK prior to this.
The Shinryu split was very helpful for the Giga WoL matchups on day one!
