I love FFTCG and highly recommend it! Mechanics-wise, it's the strongest tcg out right now.

Grabbed the custom starters to try the game with my wife over the holidays. We’ve really enjoyed it so far! Such a fun game. I definitely need to pick this up and probably(?) the previous anniversary boxes.
We're going to be doing a "where to start" and "upgrading your starter deck" series in the next few weeks so keep an eye out for that! Glad you've been enjoying it!
Gonna be such a good box to get to get all the easily missable or hard to get cards for everyone and especially newer players.

I just started playing a few weeks ago. I built a deck around cait sith and sephiroth since those were my favs from ff7

Its pretty fun, iplayed a few games with my bro and we play MTG so its not too hard to play at all if you compare it with other popular games like yugioh as well. Just gotta get used to it @@nextdimensionhobby

as a yugioh player just looking into picking this up and maybe playing online locals (if they're a thing in this game, none close to me) the value in this would never be done by Konami
Right? Crazy value and such an easy competitive starting point. All 3 of the boxes have been really good for this. There are online locals around (we used to do them) but I think Slice & Dice are looking at picking that up

It was on the Japanese site. You can see everything that's in the set over on Materia Hunter

Oh yeah, definitely. This is almost the entire way to any meta deck.
The release schedule is about 3 sets a year so every four months
