Denver over Green Bay in SB XXXII was the biggest SB upset since the AFL Jets in SB III. Denver went in as a 12 1/2 point underdog to the defending champion Packers at a time when oddsmakers never went beyond 8 points. That game certainly DOES belong in the top 5.
My Top 10 NFL Súper Bowls of All Time : 1. Super Bowl XLIII - Steelers vs Cardinals . 2. Super Bowl XXV - Bills vs Giants . 3. Súper Bowl XLII - Patriots vs Giants . 4. Super Bowl XII - Steelers vs Cowboys . 9. Super Bowl XXIII - 49ers vs Bengals . 10. Súper Bowl XXXVIII - Patriots vs Panthers .
His performance is one of the best of all time in the Super Bowl. Because of that great performance, the game itself was a rout that was over by halftime. Though interestingly, Washington did at the time set a record for largest deficit overcome to win a Super Bowl as Denver had jumped to a 10-0 lead before the 2nd quarter massacre
Super bowl 3 was the game that validated the NFL AFL merger. There was genuine talk about allowing an all nfc Superbowl which would have been horrible for the sport. The game itself was not particularly great. Low scoring ball control with excellent defense has never been exciting for me to watch. Might be others' idea of a good game but Unitas wasn't in until the end and the Jets let that excellent defense choke the Colts. It was good to watch once and definitely should be on the list. Thanks for sharing, these are great fun!
25:23 "Is that Stacy Keibler?" Rewind... "YEP!" I had to double check. She just made her WCW debut a few weeks earlier and was still a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader
SB3 should have been top 3. Its impact rippled for the entire 1970s. Shula probably doesn't leave Baltimore if he wins. Namath's star would have dimmed below HOF status. The 1969 Chiefs would have been the giant killers, and with Shula in Baltimore, would likely have won at least one more.
Fun Fact: Namath doesn't belong anywhere near the hall of fame. There are better QB's of his era that aren't in. If he loses that game then he never gets in.
I know it sounds like sour grapes but at 41:12 Kurt Warner nearly has his jersey ripped off by Deshea Townsand, no call. 41:18, Tim Hightower gets blasted right in his back, no call. But the worst part of that play was Steve Breaston and Larry Fitzgerald arrive at the same time and both hit Harrison at the same time keeping him upright long enough to be able to score even though still photos show Harrison's hand with the ball hits the ground before he scores. Then to cap it all off to this day Santonio Holmes never had both feet down(every conceivable angle shows he didn't have both feet down) then used the ball as a prop which was supposed to be a penalty. This is what happens when a team is in the officials pocket because no way in hell could they allow the Cardinals to be champions.

Sorry but SB 3, 47,23, 32 and 38(okay 38 would be on list lower end) made the list but an updated list wouldn't include them. SB 3- was more of the lead up and upset then actual game. 47- only remember it for the lights going off. It was a pure supernatural game. 23- remember it because of ending not the game itself. 32- They only put it on because Elway won the game. Now if you updated the list would have 51( number 1), 52( number 4) and 34( number 6) 51- Most heartbreaking blown lead and best comeback 52- over 1k yards, greatest play calling, philly special, Foles beating Brady. 10. Súper Bowl XXXVIII - Patriots vs Panthers .
I can’t believe the doug williams isn’t at least an honorable mention
That wasn’t a great game, that was an amazing one sided blowout
His performance is one of the best of all time in the Super Bowl. Because of that great performance, the game itself was a rout that was over by halftime. Though interestingly, Washington did at the time set a record for largest deficit overcome to win a Super Bowl as Denver had jumped to a 10-0 lead before the 2nd quarter massacre
Super Bowls 49 & 52 were damn good games
Two of the lowest paying teams going at it. Steelers vs Cardinals.
Oh this was updated
I don’t know what season but it’s cool to see super bowl 47 on there
Interestingly & quite diplomatic, the games are split 50•50 evenly between NFC/AFC
Years are the year when the reg. season began :
1 - SB 2014, 2 - SB 2007, 3 - SB 2017, 4 - SB 2016, 5 - SB 2008, 6 - SB 1978, 7 - SB 1999, 8 - SB 1988, 9 - SB 1990, 10 - SB 2012
Edited - I added 2016.
The disrespect to Superbowl XXV is immense
Broncos vs Packers ya tool
Episode: Originally airs in 2011
Also Episode: Includes a 2015 superbowl
Imagine being a Jets fan. Haven't had a thing to cheer about for more than 50 years.
@@Rockhound6165 He's in as much for SB3 as his career, but for about 5 years, there was no one distinctly better.
#10 should be #1 because of it what it did for the game. Here's my list; 1. Super Bowl 3
2. Super Bowl 13(Battle of Champions Part 2/First Shootout)
3. Super Bowl 25(Wide Right)
4. Super Bowl 34(The Longest Yard)
5. Super Bowl 10(Battle of Champions Part 1)
6. Super Bowl 22( Doug Williams/The Quarter).
7. Super Bowl 47(Brother vs Brother).
8. Super Bowl 38.
9. Super Bowl 42(Patriots 18-1).
10. Super Bowl 11(Old Man Willie! He's going all the way).
That is a fantastic list and I agree on number one, a billion percent
Super bowl 22????? The 42-10 blowout that was over in the 2nd quarter??? Nah
NYG 42 and 46 are the best to me.
I swear they wear their rings on their middle fingers and flip off Brady with them
@@kyleshiflet9952 it's all they've got given they've done nothing noteworthy since
Superbowl 49 will haunt me until I die
I swear this category shows how petty people can be. "My local team was in this SB, therefore that's the best SB of all time!"
🤦🏽♂️ Watch the f----ng games! SB 43 was an awesome game and I didn't like either of those teams. So what?
Preach! I get it if fans acting like that but when "expert" does it, its annoying asf
Not so awesome for me. I'm a Cardinals fan.
My List
1. Super Bowl 42-Giants 17, Patriots 14
2. Super Bowl 49-Patriots 28, Seahawks 24
3. Super Bowl 43-Steelers 27, Cardinals 23
4. Super Bowl 34-Rams 23, Titans 16
5. Super Bowl 32-Broncos 31, Packers 24
6. Super Bowl 23-49ers 20, Bengals 16
7. Super Bowl 51-Patriots 34, Falcons 28
8. Super Bowl 38-Patriots 32, Panthers 29
9. Super Bowl 25-Giants 20, Bills 19
10. Super Bowl 13-Steelers 35, Cowboys 31
And the 41-33 of the Eagles - Patriots in 52 is not good enough?
@@msolec2000 It ain't better than those ten, but I for sure enjoyed the game
Super Bowl 10, 25, 32, 34, 36, 42, 44, 46, 49, and 51 are the best Super Bowls in NFL history⁉🏈💺🏟🏜🏙🌇🌃Nine of out those ten were decided by a touchdown or less..The Saints beat the Colts 31-17 in Super Bowl 44..It was a big deal to New Orleans..It happened four years after Hurricane Katrina..🤔

Yes
I’m in complete agreement about 43
My favorite Superbowl (XXIV) Joe Montana and the Niners blew out the Broncos 55-10
Blowouts don’t make it a great game, that just means you’re a fan of the dominant one.
Superbowl on right now. Im watching this instead 😂😂
No Super Bowl X invalidates the whole list. It was the first start to finish great game in Super Bowl history and considering how Mr. Swann was concussed a week prior (back then, no 2 weeks in between), his virtuoso performance deserves to be there
This should have an updated list with the more recent ones like Super Bowl 54.
54 isn't top ten material, but if you were to say 51, I'd agree.
@@yetz2291 51 was epic but hilarious
@@DestinyZX1 Tru
Sorry but SB 3, 47,23, 32 and 38(okay 38 would be on list lower end) made the list but an updated list wouldn't include them.
SB 3- was more of the lead up and upset then actual game.
47- only remember it for the lights going off. It was a pure supernatural game.
23- remember it because of ending not the game itself.
32- They only put it on because Elway won the game.
Now if you updated the list would have 51( number 1), 52( number 4) and 34( number 6)
51- Most heartbreaking blown lead and best comeback
52- over 1k yards, greatest play calling, philly special, Foles beating Brady. Honestly cried tears of joy after that game in my Mcnabb jersey.
34-come on that game cam as promised. Rams and Titans came one yard short of the first OT in a SB.
I'm sorry, but until OT is fixed once and for all, no OT game with just one drive can be called a top 10.
@@msolec2000 Trust me after the 2018 AFC championship and this year Bills vs Chiefs game the OY rules need to be fixed. But SB 51 belong because it was 28-3 with a quarter and a half left and when to OT.
SB 51 is nowhere near No. 1. It was just a terrible choke by Atlanta to the point where it almost feels like they threw the game.
@@gbrow1604 when you have a 28-3 lead late in the third quarter and blow it that number 1. They didn't throw it they choked
Ahh the era before 28-3
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I love being a pats fan
Super Bowl XLVII 47 was a good one
“This is a classic case of our memories being really short”
And yet you were just arguing that the Super Bowl just the year before it was the greatest of all time. “No, it wasn’t the 2008 one! Recency bias! It was the one in 2007 I tell you!”
Super Bowl 25 is the GOAT! FACT'S! LEGENDARY!
4th quarter, 4th and 1.. after being down the entire game.. a 33 year old FB scores the game winning TD on a 43 yard run. Should have been on the list.
21:40: 2023 season update: The Bills' Super Bowl hopes were crushed again by a missed field goal. Guess where it went? Wide right. Deja vu
Top 10:
10. Superbowl XXXII
9. Superbowl XLII
8. Superbowl XXIII
7. Superbowl LI
6. Superbowl XLIII
5. Superbowl XIII
4. Superbowl XXXVIII
3. Superbowl LII
2. Superbowl XLIX
1. Superbowl XXV
Come on, guys! You can't talk about Super Bowl 43 without mentioning Kurt Warner's journey to make the Cardinals winners!
20:31 Rex Ryan goes nuts
Too many of these games make the list for how they finished. I’d put 25 and 32 up at the top. They were great from start to finish.
Super Bowl 52 is Top 10 MAYBE, not Top 5
20:31 for 10-6
What about Super Bowl XXXVI? It's one of the best and most important Super Bowls of all time.
Rams Titans is my pick for #1.
Now we know why kappernick took the knee
How tf was Superbowl IV and Superbowl XXIX both honorable mentions. Like wtf???
Super Bowl 13
Should have been
Number 1!
Super Bowl XIII is the best game ever.
Period.
It was basically the Pro Bowl of Hall of Fame players and coaches.
Landry
Noll
Bradshaw
Webster
Swann
Harris
Stallworth
Greene
Lambert
Ham
Blount
Shell
Staubach
Dorsett
Harris
Pearson
White
Wright
Smith.
Case and point…
43 is the best and will always be
28-3
Rank these Super Bowls first to last: 44, 46, 47, 54, 56. Then rank these first to last: 42, 43, 49, 51, 52.
2 words falcons patriots. Mic drop
Super Bowl 34 belongs on this list.
#1: 28-3
Yeah, Ms Wolf pintical isn’t a word, I’m guessing the word you wanted was pinnacle.
Without sb3, there wouldn't be patriots steelers or the merger
The merger was made in 1966 2 and a half years before SB III they didn't play games with each other until 1970
Super Bowl 47 being on this list is insanity haha. That’s one of the most forgettable super bowls in recent history, even with the lights going out
I hit another even likes number.
32 is my favorite. It features 2 of my favorite QBs of all-time in Elway & Favre. Also Leroy Butler is so underrated, he should be in the H.O.F. for inventing the Lambeau Leap alone. NE shouldn't be on this for their first 3 wins, since they cheated
@Harry Engel It wouldn't have been exciting, if they hadn't cheated though
@Harry Engel They only "Cheated" because the opposing 3 NFC Teams didn't end up winning but when the Pats lose they're quiet
It's SB13 and then there's everything else.
What year was this list made? Super Bowl 51 was “the best Super Bowl the Patriots have ever been in.” Or Super Bowl 49…
