This video is pretty accurate except the Xbox One never caught up once they dropped the Kinect and probably never will and PS4 never slowed down.. They are still outpacing the PS2

True, but still moble gaming is getting more popular. Plus even PC gaming is becoming obsolete since the games are needing constant updates and expensive hardware upgrades to even play them without any major issues. Plus with the upcoming release of the PS VR, Sony's only major competitors are the moble gaming industry and muckrosoft (and Nintendo, can't forget their 22 year old rivalry)
+Mars Olive Mobile Gaming isn't all that bad. It can be thought to be a gateway gaming platform. People who are ready for commitment to gaming but haven't played a lot in their lives will find themselves wanting to play on other platforms (consoles and PC) when they play with phones. Only problem is that publishers and developers are being influenced by shitty practices done by mobile gaming companies. Because when a company like Konami sees the money games like Clash of Clans are bringing, they'd think to change their policies, which we've seen happen before time and time again. In the end Konami settled for pachinco machinces, so, #FuckKonami

Also, gotta hate that "free to play, buy to win" policy mobile games became infamous for and now the console market is adapting to. I love my PS4 but Steam is better than any console at treating the consumer with such things.

While you may think them childish, do not forget they are the childhood of many many generations of gamers. Don't bash them for sticking with what has worked for 30 years
