Blood Mist can be used by a Tank to approach a target to apply Puncture while healing from the surrounding mobs that it's currently aggroing. Plus, being Magic Damage AoE, means that the Magicka is easier to be replenished via inflicting Overcharged status per mob on the AoE.
@@rayray0987 tried Charged weapon + Resilient Yokeda and the set inflicted almost 40% of the mobs with Overcharged per proc, which gave me almost perpetual Magicka sustain (couldn't give me infinite cuz I was using Ice Staff to brace). So yea, it's possible. edit: ....what if I combine both? 🤔
What they would help it out is if since the distance is low is it a actually made you disappear during the teleportation phase. And for the second morph why don't they make a swarm of bats around to siphon health I said that funky aura.
I really like the idea of a universal streak. I love hyper-mobile playstyles, but my main is also a necromancer... this would be a perfect fit into my current "greased lightning" build (super fast base walk speed, auto-break free, and Snow Treaders as an extra "screw you" to anything that tries to slow me down).
in my oppinion they made mist for largely useless,i would have done it diffirent make it an ability thats active for 8 seconds and while in that form have an 80% increased chance to be missed or dodge and youre travel speed is increased by 10,the problem is then that this ability wil be exploited by people so everyone would be a vamp and use it so thats why they cant do that because we have to manny uppertunistic people that run things for others instead of playing what they like.
Gotta see if it is competitive with other DoT options or fits in a rotation well enough. Maybe survival add clear for solo application? It could be a step in the right direction may not be the ultimate destination for the Endgame Vampire fantasy.
You mentioned we couldn't be CCed while using it, but will we still be able to use it to ESCAPE CC? I currently only use vampire on my thief build, and use mist form to escape the guards' claw ability.
it looks cool yeah but for an escape it is way to slow. It also needs to tick every second not 2 seconds to be worth anything. Seems like its gonne be another dead skill
I do agree it should be reduced to one second particular rather than 2 but I also feel it actually could be pretty useful especially if you were just going down a full vampire build and where is stage three vampire on Breton and sorc as well as perhaps using Robes of alteration because at that point the ridiculous reduction to the cost of elusive mist and blood mist means you can basically just Spam that until you're out of danger
Beyond that there's already a shit ton of lifesteal you can get with certain AOE builds like bleed builds or Dragon Knight fire builds. Really it's just another nice AOE DOT that comes with its own innate lifesteal on top of whatever lifesteal you have going on around him whether that be pale order ring or minor lifesteal
Can this be used to go through death walls like sorc blink in places like the meridia dungeon or the 1 with the undead dragon? Sorry cant remember the names lol
Probably not the most meta thing but I'm getting some happy ideas about bomb/ aoe focused builds with bloodmist. I feel like builds that spec heavy into skills like magicka detonation or pulsar could get a bit of use out of it. That's my hope anyway.
I mention this as I'm doing a little silly with dark convergence, prior thierric and overwhelming sets with bombden, it's my first time trying a build of sorts and it's a pretty fun combo. And we'll the aoe on that morph looks tasty
That is horrible. The range is shit, you're still well within the range of most gap closers. Changing to a pure teleport is a horrible idea. If anything it should put you into stealth like state where you gain major expedition for around 8 seconds or so and cc immunity for half that time(keep the teleporting aspect limited to the morphs). Then one of the morphs focusing on escaping could have you go invisible after you teleport and also give you another flat speed buff of 10-15%. Then the attack focused morph could stagger the target and proc major vulnerability for around 3 seconds. I think something like that could really fit into a vampire kit.
havent used so much of vampire skills but the toggle was cool curious on ho the differ from streak as it kinda looked sluggish but it may be differ from watching to using it it could be a cool change or some might even miss the misty travelform
Streak is much faster and you always travel maximum distance, not to mention the damage and unblockable stun or CC immunity from 3 projectiles on the Ball of Lightning morph. While it sounds like the BoL copy, BoL prevents the projectile entirely with whatever secondary effect it would be (Scatter shot knockback, Snipe defile and poison, Flame Clench cc, etc) so its inferior to it. From the other hand you have another small healing source on the ability you would use for mobility anyway, and the dash goes over gaps and crevises in the terrain like Streak does + the 300 weapon/spell damage passive each time you use it.
I absolutely Love the Change. But i don't really use(d) it to really fight with it, just for my Vampire Theme Guy for RP Shit. Now it's way cooler for me personally.
Love the costume on that character. I play ESO in 3D with VR glasses, it would look truly awsome in 3D! I love checking out people's appearance in 3D. Flat screen does not do them justice.
This basicly indirectly nerfs templar and jabs yet again as everyone will now have major evasion as I bet this will be more popular than race against time especially if your using coil
The animation could be bit faster to look more like in greymoor trailer and range of the ability could also be increased tiny bit just seems slow and short range to me. maybe bloodmist can be used in PvE trash builds? but in PvP it probably will kill the opponent in laughter!
There was nothing wrong with the 2 2 iterations of the skill. Vampires don't need a movement mode skill. They need a defensive or offensive skill because there kit is totally lackluster in both of those departments.
That's just it, the change simply makes it so the elusive missed now has a Teleport before you get the expedition and blood missed is now Leaps and Bounds more useful for not just damage but for more primarily, survivability. After the teleport you'll get the AOE lifesteal and a lot of people tend to think lifesteal doesn't mean much but it can do a hell of a fucking lot with just think about the ring of the pale order and how life's deal with it was good enough that even with the drawback of not being able to be healed by your group members, they still felt it needed to be nerfed by how many group members you actually had in your group because flat-out the mere Act of having it means you probably are Solo build anyways so giving a unkillable solo build the ability to have a bunch of people helping them just makes it all the more broken.
Pair that with the undeath passive and the benefits of the dark elves fire resistance to make up for some amount of the flame damage increase and suddenly undeath also means that you can't be easily killed at least buy a flurry of attacks so long as you keep your lifesteal up meaning the only thing you need to worry about is getting one shot and depending on what build you're trying to do, it's more than possible to get enough mitigation to protect yourself from being one shot
Beyond that as it stands the current blood mist fucking sucks dick because it forces you to not be able to do anyting and constantly drains your Magicka so pairing that with the increase already to normal ability costs and the pretty noticeably increased cost of abilities once you get to stage 3 for the undeath passive means that it actually is pretty damn notable especially since any action that you try to do we'll throw you out of mist form and more than that, the ridiculous amount they reduced in terms of medication against NPCs means while you're stuck not even being able to block or Dodge, you're more than open to be one shot or a minimum burst down. Truly right now only elusiveness has any use for its Expedition boost that can let you get in or out of situations or get from one place to another fast and even then, only when you don't have access to your mount
Idk why eso players always get excited about underwelming stuff.....makes vamp bad to begin with, we love it..changes the mistform to a dash and *gwak*gwak*gwak* thank you zos, its exactly what we needed what a awesome addition, its like this community is desprete for crumbs of change no matter what it is......this is a downgrade from the orginal even imo
Elusive mist seem’s fine I guess. But I think the blood mist should remove the forward dash and make the skill just mitigate 50% of damage for ~ 2 seconds. Keep the ramp up cost to prevent PVP cheese. And change the AoE dot/hot to last ~10 secs and tick every second. Imma need to mist way before that 20 sec timer goes off to keep the damage passive up anyway. Thanks for the review Nefas!
Oh boy. Sorcs can run elusive mist + hurricane + streak + wild hunt to have major+minor expedition up all time and alternating mist, streak and roll to hug around pillar forever kiting entire zergs.
I see that change as ZOS' way of covering their ass when the Arcanist comes out with it's teleport to not get acused of pay to win...even though the game has been pay to win for a long time.
The range should go up much more as you go up in vampirism stages imo 🤔
Loot the chest!!!
New streak? That actually will make me make vamps again. It looks like a great mobility

Bloodmist looks good for pvp, specially for DKs for additional offensive healing and mobility
If they would just make PVE and PVP separate, we wouldn't need so many reworks

Yes exactly
I will go vamp on my sorc and abuse streak + this only to troll in pvp

You could already do that by dpsing the boss
Sorc streak already does it as well
