Kim I had a friend say to me,“ if your coming to see me ,Come any time, if your
coming to see the house, I need a month. Enjoy. Marlene 👍
I love that! 😂
Haha, that's a good one!! I gotta remember this...it's totally true for me too 😂😂
Your thouthfulness and consideration when explaining about bringing the food to the new mom actually brought a tear to my eye. You are so caring and kind.
As someone who recently had a baby, I applaud you for thinking of your neighbor. Only she will know how much this meant. God bless you
I can’t stop laughing😂..-I’ve haven’t even done anything
but trying to all day🌸
I had twins as my first pregnancy and would have loved a neighbour like you ❤❤❤
The fact that you were like "hey, no pressure, I'm not asking you to host or to even let us in the door. I'm not even the one delivering it, so we'll leave it at your doorstep. I just want you to be fed and have ONE evening where you don't have to think about dinner." I LOVE this. As someone who gets extreme anxiety with hosting, especially post partum (I can't imagine having twins), I would be so incredibly thankful for the gesture.
You are such a thoughtful person with your friend. Brownie points for you!!!!
Use those lemon Oreos as the crust for a cheesecake. Delicious!
Omg! 🤤
YES 🙌
A perfect morning is to lose myself watching 48 minutes of your 'around the house happenings'. Kitchen clean up was poetry in motion, everyone coming together to get the job done and I've adopted your timing trick too, it's amazing what you can get done in 10 minutes. You always make me laugh but I had a proper giggle when the camera fell and you asked if we were ok 😂🤣.
Woop woop 🥳
Edit: laughed so hard at the "the same rag as I used on the toilets". 🤣 Great clapback, Kim! 👌🏻
FrolleinMiez
🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 but 🤣
Me too lol 😂
🤭me too 😂😂😂
I love her sense of humor but I know not everyone gets it! 🤣
I had to pause you and go down and get my coffee. This is how I start my Saturday by putting some happy in my day. My daughter is expecting number 7. Her oldest was here yesterday watching your video with me bc she thinks you’re hilarious. She’s so excited you are having another baby. She told me that she’s not getting married and having babies. She said she’s going to have a bunny farm and raise bunnies. It cracked me up bc she still seems to be following mommy’s footsteps bc we all know how those bunnies reproduce.
7 kids omg.
Omg me too!! I paused the video to make coffee... love you kim ❤ you always but a little happy in my day 🥰
I really love and look forward to Kim's videos..7 children?! Omg!
I have 7 children and we have a blast! And what's so funny is that my daughter (#5) also tells me she's "never getting a husband." 🤣 She says she's going to live with her sister and they are going to put their dogs in the backseat of the car. I love all their personalities so much. Congrats to your daughter - enjoy that new grandbaby!
@@aimeelangan1625 Honestly in this economy, that might be a wise choice 😂 your kids sound adorable, definitely planning a fun future lol. My husband and I aren’t sure how many kids we want yet (we have a 15 month old, and I just found out I’m pregnant with another). But we’re planning to build several tiny homes instead of one larger home, that way our kids can live on our property and have housing stability. I feel a lot of instability coming up in the next 50 years or so, gotta keep my babies near. Generational living is the way of the past and the future 👍 more balanced workloads and more hands to help with kids/elderly people/pets/chores. I’m also planning to split the land with my mom, so she can have her house-bus or a tiny home near her grandkids ☺️. Would also make me feel much better as she gets older. She has a lot of weird allergies and is small, so I worry about her getting sick or something and not being checked on.
We've started doing brownie Friday to go along with our Friday family movie night. Pizza and brownies because mama is done by Friday night. Lol my kids think it's awesome but now I'm held to the standard of making brownies every Friday. 😆
OMG I did that years ago. I came up with the brilliant idea of having not 1..oh no...but 2 days of "special weekend breakfasts" Each child gets their special breakfast for Saturday and Sunday. Oh no...like 1 day a week isn't enough. So now ... YEARS LATER ... I'm making 3 DIFFERENT BREAKFASTS 2 TIMES A WEEK. But...sometimes, now that they're older, they make breakfast for me. And when they have their own families and are gone from my home, I will miss the chaos!!! LOL Melissa, take short cuts if you have a crazy week, Costco has great baked good...just stick them into a baking pan and say you worked hard making it from scratch :D
You’ve got to try brownie cookies! They’re so good and really easy to make.
I like the cookie idea! I can keep frozen cookie dough in the freezer ready to bake for the special Friday!!
Box mix is my saving grace for those busy Fridays!
For months now, every Friday when I wake my son (11) up for school, I go in his room singing Kim's lil jingle..🎶🎵🎙🎤"IT'S BROWNIEEE FRIIIDAAYY!! FRIIIIDAAYY!! 😂😂Only difference is I don't make brownies, nor do we eat brownies on Friday!🤷♀️ 🤣 He's over me at this point!🤦♂️🙆♂️🙅♂️
Having 8 grandchildren soon to be 9 I keep those freeze dried marshmallows on hand as well. They drink as much hot chocolate in summer as in winter. They love it after they get out of the pool. I know, weird but true. Plus there is the fact I made them hot chocolate bombs a couple years ago and now apparently it’s a tradition for the holiday season.
We have a fire and ice bar it's hot chocolate stuff and we just got an industrial commercial size snow cone machine for actually super cheap on amazon. My kids love hot chocolate and it's so cheap. So fire and ice lol
Kim, I need you to know something. I'm from the UK and over here, only the mega, mega rich can afford big houses so I have quite a small house with NO storage which makes it so hard to keep things today. Anyway, shut up Colin... Get to the point!!
OK, so I've been struggling for about 5 years with my mental health and a big part of that is that I can't stand mess and chaos and my house is so untidy. I've cried at night because I don't know where to start. I can't take that first step and I certainly can't be cheerful when I do it. I wanted to reach out and tell you that since I found your channel, I've started to tidy. Today I did my kitchen and bedroom and I'm so proud but it's because of you. I'm so grateful to you and you're my hero, my inspiration and my motivation. Thank you so much for what you have done for me. I'm here for every single video and I hope I can become just 10% of the person you are! Loads and loads of love from the UK xxx
That clip with your family cleaning up with you was so beautiful🥰 I just loved how everyone was busy moving all around. It reminded me of my childhood with me and my 7 siblings. It’s just the flow of family life and it makes me so happy!!!
I really loved that too
Oooh, speaking of brownie Friday! My 13 year old son made brownies last night and they were delicious! He even added chocolate chips and I gotta say, brownies that I didn't have to make taste even better 😁 So remember fellow mommas, on those tough days when your kids are wee little, hang on! because someday they might make you brownies 😂
Food I don't have to make always tastes better! :)
@@ljatwood1972 so. Much. Better. Probably because it doesn’t happen often :)
Well that's best reason I've heard for having kids! Someday they make you brownies!!!
Kim here is the best (legit Mexican) beans recipe you'll ever find. Take your bag of dry pinto or black beans, check them for little rocks, rinse them, then out them in a crockpot with a bunch of water, at least half an onion, garlic (not powder), salon goya (flavor packet in Mexican food section), and the secret ingredient: at least a tbsp of bacon grease or more for 2+lbs of beans. When you cook bacon just save the grease in a container in the fridge. You won't ever have beans any other way. Another way I've seen it made is with the onion and garlic and cutting actual raw bacon into the crockpot, at least half a pack of bacon up to a full pack of bacon if you're making a lot of beans. Beans freeze great so you can portion out a family size side portion and not have to worry about cooking it for your next meal. Keep in the crockpot at least 6 hours or until soft. My crockpot is old so I keep it there all day, 10+ hours :)
I’m New Mexican and our food is very close to Mexican food and I love bacon in my beans. Leftover cooked bacon it’s great to freeze and use for cooking beans.
@@EJaramillo my mother in law is New Mexican and she does it the bacon way! Another family member who is Mexican does hers just with the bacon grease! It's a small world lol
@@Michelle-by9fp I love it with bacon grease as well! Yes very small world.
Oh my gosh 😁☕☀️ hi Kim!! 😘 hi everyone!! I am more than ready: I have my snacks and your company, let's do this!! around the house happenings here we go 😆
Hello! 🙂
Kim, always bringing the happy. It's a lazy "what am I doing up?" Saturday and you pop up at the perfect time cleaning, cooking, spinning those royalty free jams and tempting us with brownies and slo-mo juicing. Thank you, for bringing the sunshine & love to all of us. Be blessed & back to feeling better lil' mama! xoxo
No pressure food drop off is the ultimate gift 💝
Confession. When I watch your videos I use my headphones so when my kids come in I flip my phone over so they don't know I'm watching a video. They always seem to need something when I'm doing something for myself. Now they come in and walk back out because it just looks like I'm cleaning. Life hack.. lol I love your intros makes me giggle every time.
Lisa Glass thanks
Good morning Kim. Love your sweet spirit this beautiful morning. Tyfs and have a blessed day.
You always make my day brighter, so I hope this makes yours a little brighter. THANK YOU for being you.
Hi Kim!! I had to log on early to tell you I found the best DW candle ever! It’s called tropical nectar and has a FLAMINGO lid!! I was super exited when I found it. I had to tell you about it’s existence. 🤣🤣 I probably need to get a life 🤪🤪
You are the BEST! I'm certain Kim will now need it in her life 😉 Have a happy weekend.
You and me both! 😂
❤❤❤BTW my Grands (7 &12) are home schooled, and on their break time the say, "We want to watch the lady who made the video cutting her hair." I love watching you, you bring a smile to our faces every time!🧑🏼👧🏼👩🏻🦰
I love how you think about how you felt at that point in life and do what you wish people had done for you when you just had kids when you're sending dinner to other families. I wish everyone could have such a thoughtful friend as you. ❤
Wow - you are so thoughtful and kind (your reason for sending your husband with the food)... ❤
Good Saturday Morning energetic and beautiful Kim. I hope the nausea is improving with time.
Meredith is growing and is so cute. So are her sister's and brother as well.
The Oreo batter looks so delicious.
So thoughtful of you for sending a meal and desert to this new Mom. This family will appreciate and enjoy.
Thank You for happy in there day and mine too. You inspire, and motivate. Have a nice weekend Kim and family and party people💝
When you're cooking videos come out I get so excited to watch them. My Mom hated to cook and didn't teach me a thing. (She used to say that the next house we lived in wasn't going to have a kitchen!) I kind of have a negative attitude when it comes to cooking because I don't have confidence. You've made me branch out little and try new things. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
You are so kind to make food for that new mom when you arent feeling so great yourself. And having people over? My Gosh!
We line dry in Jamaica and use a literal tree branch with a notch like a y ..to hoist up the line when it does that thing yours did. It adds height and improves the slack problem. That brought me back to my childhood lol
was anyone else literally laughing out loud when she was all over the place in the kitchen before she even made anything??!! LOL 🤣 oh Kim!
Kim, I just love you. You make it all look easy. You have such a nice glow about you. With all that you have going on,you took the time to help someone else. You are such a thoughtful and kind person.
I literally chuckle every time you say "it's fine" then you crack the joke that you're cleaning the fridge with the rag that you cleaned the toilet with and I'm thinking, oh it's fine! 😂😂😂😂
Oh my gosh I used to do the advert break cleaning, long before sky TV and pause buttons. It's amazing what you can get done. Soak pans then go back to them after 10 minutes and wipe clean and get a drink and a snack. I think now in the UK you get more adverts than movie. Ha😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey Kim! I am a new subscriber. I’ve fallen in love with your silly yet honest approach to running a household. Thanks for the smiles and happy in my day!😁
You're advice about making her a meal and how you didn't want her to feel pressure was the nicest and sweetest sentiment. I honestly felt touched by that. I think sometimes people think oh I'll hold the baby but sometimes it's the mother that needs the meal :)
For me having other people hold the baby always gave me anxiety too like... I just got the baby to sleep, please don't wake them up - or whatever the case was lol could have been a million things but yes!
@@thewadsquad right. :) I'm glad you shared that with us.
I loved it when you where washing pots and your mom eye spotted a child to give something too to put away xx
I freeze rice all the time. I'm so damn hungry watching you cook. I love your channel and your new house. Much love from Australia.
I love your videos. I watched when you were line drying the clothes reminded me of my childhood. My mom would struggle having the clothes drag until she put a medium stick/wood in the middle that she could move around to hold up the line. It worked and the clothes never touched the floor in the middle again. Can't wait until you upload again. :)
Yes, I remember my mom doing the same with a long metal pole. I think you can still buy them. Not only does it keep laundry off the ground, it puts it higher up in the air to better catch the breeze. Moms DO know best!
Kim please record the sourdough starter with us! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and need guidance LOL
Glad your feeling better, you have such the sweetest heart to help others! Enjoy every single video 💖
Make a batch of fried rice and freeze - I just did that yesterday with my leftovers. The meal looked great!
I love the crosswave it worked great when my dog got sick for days
Kim, the food looked delicious!! You’re such a joy to watch. Have a good weekend 💛
I will take the tip of packing food for families this way now! I love the aluminum foil trick. I use to send tons of Tupperware 😂 it's been a nice slow coffee morning with you 🥰
Yes! All Pinterest! I used to do a casserole but hard to find casserole dishes that are gluten and dairy free haha
I have veryyyyy similar pregnancies and these videos intrigue me because I know how you’re really feeling inside; and I just wanna say you’re doing awesome. You’re keeping up with work and resting when you need to. Much love from Indiana!💕
I’m just doing my best… some days are harder than others but my past pregnancies have been much worse so I often remind myself of that. ♥️
@@thewadsquad Yes you are. 💕And that is good to hear . We want to try for #4 but are terrified it will be worse than the last. It’s always always worth it but it’s quite a journey when you’re in the throes of it.
You can freeze rice. When you reheat the rice add a bit of water to rehydrate it like about 1/8 cup then microwave it.
Good morning. You put a smile on my face. I'm recovering from surgery and I need the laughter and the motivation. Thankyou.
Kim you need a prop to hold your washing line up if you don’t know what one is it’s a long piece of wood with a v cut out at the top that you hook the washing line Ito and it keeps your washing off the floor
The same rag I used on the toilet.....I'm wheezing! Too funny!!!!
I got a Bissell crosswave during the quarantine....I love it a year later!! It’s the best ever
That quick clip of you and Meredith in the beginning! She looks so much like you! Kim that meal was incredible, I bet your friend felt so grateful!
ah i love my Saturday mornings with the Party People and Miss Whisk. Hope the morning sickness is subsiding a little. It's so nice to see you hanging clothes out in the fresh air on that beautiful property...your dream house is a reality. Have a great day everyone. OMG how could you tease your people with the word 'brownies' How Kim? How??? lol
Love to hang out with you too Mel, have a great weekend 😘
@@brilliantbutblue You as well, stay blessed!
My mother would line dry a few times a week. Being the older daughter...wait...being the ONLY daughter...I learned early. She would put the heavy things on the ends, this way if the line goes low, the clothing won't touch the ground too much but if the heavy things are on the ends, it won't be too much weight in the middle to pull everything too low.
Mel S thank you
You are such a good friend. I'm sure you are very much appreciated by many. I hope you're feeling much better. Thank you for spending your day with me. God bless you, Kim!
I never had anyone come bring me dinner or anything after having a baby....Everyone wanted to come see the baby for the first few weeks but after that nada. I always wished people would have brought us a meal or came over just to play with my older boys 😕 my postpartum was super difficult all my babies were born via c-section. My husband took care of everything for me while I recovered before having to return overseas. Our last two babies were born during deployments.
That was so nice of you 💛💛
In Canada we have light golden brown sugar, and dark brown sugar. The dark contains more molasses and has a richer taste and makes cookies chewier. Not sure if it’s the same in the states, but maybe!!
I didn't see this til after I wrote the same comment about the sugar! Love the dark brown sugar!
Back in the day with clothesline we would use a pole/board in the middle for extra support.🙂
It sure is nice to wake up to one of Kim’s new videos. Me and my daughter love you!!
Hope you and your Daughter have a lovely weekend Kim.
@@brilliantbutblue Thanks! Same to you and your family!
Hi Kim! How thoughtful of you to send over that great meal to your old neighbor who just had twins. I’m sure she really appreciated it! Have a wonderful weekend! 😘
Tip for the clothes line, always hang things like towels, blankets, and sheets towards the trees and the small light things in the center where it says the most!
That was soooo wonderful that you sent a meal to your friend, especially considering how you feel. I do hope you're feeling LOTS better!
If you keep the blue cleaner out of the toilette tank, you can use water out of there in an emergency situation. Also, get the Battery Daddy at Costco for $14.99 or elsewhere to organize your batteries & keep them safe too.
Watch her last video and see why she has no plans to drink the water from her toilet tanks. 😂
love your channel always great content Blessed be your journey
You should try to find/make one of those clothespin aprons!! So you could reduce the need to bend over to grab a pin so often.
I love reading comments on your videos. You have the kindest subscribers!
You remind me so much of myself going over every surface even though the girls and dad helped clean already nothing is done as good as a mother's touch
Yes freeze rice. I do it all the time. . First thing I did during the one warm day Michigan has had so far is wash and line dry all my bedding.
Kim you need a prop!!! You need a piece of wood or pole of some description to put in the middle of your line to hold the clothes up, trust me in Ireland it's the norm🤣 - Oh how I wish I had your space AND the weather lol. You are doing an amazing job, you actually give me hope that "I'll get to it myself!" - Looking forward to the next one x
Woman you are a rockstar. I am also extremely sick when pregnant, I can’t even imagine taking care of that house! It’s coming really along nicely, loved that pretty rug In the hallway. Meredith looks so stinkin cute in her green jumper 💕 be well 🙂
Put the rice in the fridge, good for a week. Add some water to it and microwave it to bring it back to life. Also, day old rice is great for fried rice 😁
Add a capful of vinegar to those beans. It's amazing what a dash of vinegar will do for so many recipes! The acidity helps balance other heavy flavors.
There are 2 types of brown sugar: light (golden) and dark. Some recipes only call for dark brown sugar.
Good morning Kim!!! Great video 😁. That was so sweet of you to make dinner for your friend. I’m sure she really appreciated it 👍🏻. Enjoy the weekend ❤️😊.
Hello mama, starting my day off with you and coffee. Those cookie bars can we just say yummy! Smiling all the way through this video. Thank you so much for putting a little happy in my day ! 🙂💕
Thank you for being real.
My mum has th cordless bissel and it's fantastic, she treated herself to one couple years ago... I'm going to treat myself to one similar to urs this year... I think they're fantastic, save so much time and there cleaning sulotion smells so nice
Whenever your videos pop up, I love to get something to drink (non alcoholic) and sit on my sofa with my feet propped up! There’s nothing like “putting a little happy in my day” with Kim😘!
I LOVE my bissell crosswave! I agree… not enough people talk about it! It’s amazing and makes my life so much easier. I have 5 boys a dog and a cat. Our back door leads right into our dining room - the mess is real! I couldn’t manage without my crosswave. I’d go crazy with the amount of time I would spend cleaning the floors otherwise.
Also, I love how you always show real life - the mess the silliness. I love it. ❤️
I forgot to comment on your last voice over but I love when you talk and not play music I pop 1 earbud in(so I can still hear my kids) and listen to you while I cook and do dishes. You're hilarious and I love listening to you. I also prop my phone up so I can look up and watch what your doing in between cooking and dishes.
My favorite 😊
Much love❤️from South Africa
Discovery mzansi
Kim and family have a great weekend hopefully your feeling better thanks from Oklahoma
You can definitely freeze cooked rice. Or just simply keep it in the fridge. It’s good for at least 2 weeks.
Thank you for taking the time to film, edit and upload on top of all your daily duties! 🙏🏻💕I enjoy your videos a lot!
I enjoyed watching this and cleaning along with you my own house. Watching you do it gives me the motivation I need. I hope you are feeling better today. I am still keeping you in my prayers! Have a great weekend!
That's beautiful!
They'll get so excited when they see what you brought!
I love your around the house videos! Glad you are starting to feel better❤️
Good morning! That was so sweet of you to make all that food for your neighbor friend, I’m sure they appreciated it! It all looked so yummy too! Enjoy the weekend!
I think that’s wonderful that you just had Alex drop off the food. I always feel the same was postpartum. No company, please! Inevitably, when somebody stops by with food, and they want to stay, I always have to breastfeed the baby (who is new and doesn’t know what the heck to do), the other kids are screaming and hungry, the house is a mess, I look like death, etc Lol.
Everything looks so good 🙂
So excited when I saw you posted a new video today!! Did not sleep at all last night and have so much to do so thank you for giving me smiles and motivation for the rest of my day. You did an outstanding job and timing yourself is a great idea. You work really quickly and efficiently as well. Also, dinner and dessert looked amazing and so sweet of you to send food to your friend. Much love to you from Louisiana------Tressa Daigle
I could watch you all day you always put a smile on my face
you & your family are wonderful. you do bring happy to my day !
You always bring memories from days ago when my sons were young. Thanks for that
and for everything you do on your amazing channel. Sending you love, peace & blessings.
DEFINITELY BUYING ONE OF THOSE BISSEL CROSS WAVES!!!
I NEED QUICK AND EASY BEING DISABLED.
Now, if I could get a washer/dryer up here on the main floor...now, laundry is in basement and I can't use stairs.
If you have a Costco membership it is on sale until 3/31! ($200) I just got one. 😁
“The same rag i used on the toilet” made me lol.😂😂😂
Kim this video was full of laughs and wonderful recipes! Loved the brownies! Thanks for the happy in my day! 💚💜🧡💃🏻
Kim the way you get excited about the bissell sparks joy in me! I love it too! Love all that you do ❤️
Kim, you need a clothes prop! A long piece of narrow wood with a v shape in the top to hold your line up in the middle. You really inspire me to cook and look after my family. Thank you for all your wonderful videos x
Love around the house happenings!
Hey Kim!!!! Happy Saturday gurl!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
If your grapes start to get mushy place them
In the freezer! A nice cold treat.
A tip for drying line. We have just a random wooden stick, that has a y on top and is a bit longer than an average human. We push the clothing line up from the middle with it and leave the stick there until clothes are taken off.
