"Ooh, a marshmallow!" And just like that, the day gets better! LOL. It cracks me up how you eat almost anything you find. Then again ... why not??? Really enjoyed today's video!!!!!
Naan bread recipe!!!
* 1 tsp sugar
* 1/4 oz active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
* 1/2 cup warm water
* 1/2 cup of sour cream or plain yogurt (either on works well)
*2 1/4 cups of flour (bread four works best. I’ve also used gluten free bread mix and it worked)
* 1 tbsp oil
* 1/2 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together and let dough rise for 1 hour. Comes out to between 550g to 600 g of dough that I split into 6 pieces. Roll out flat and cook on both sides in a cast iron pan until bubbly and lightly toasted. Delicious!!!

I had broke my glass bowl for my kitchenaid and called their customer service and they sent me a new one. It wasnt free but it was definitely reasonable. Comes with the nice lid for it to!

When you're out of eggs next time, you can always make a chia/flax egg with a tbsp of either chia or flax and 3 tbsp of water and then let it it sit for like 2 minutes to get gooey. I had to do this as an emergency recently in my banana bread recipe and it honesty tasted no different - maybe even better. Love your videos Kim! Been watching them for years!

I AM STRARTING TO PANIC ABOUT MY KIDS BEING OFF OF SCHOOL FOR THE SUMMER!! It’s gonna be eat and snack feast all day long! AHHHH! 👩🏼🍳With those upper corner cabinets, I bought Lazy Susan’s and put them in. It’s so much easier finding things now! And it utilizes space.

I love the reusable zip top bags but the disposable ones are FANTASTIC for freezing foods flat in the freezer…soups, sauces, anything more liquid is great in those bags and freeze wonderfully 😊

Kim I just wanted to say thank u for this video. I love how silly u can be but how u always get things done in ur videos. I needed my mood lifted today cause I've been stressed out of my mind taking care of my grandparents. I didnt get to bed until 4:30 am and had to get up at 9 to take my transplant medicine so I am super tired. Hope everyone in ur family are doing well Kim! Kim u need the expandable can stair storage things for your can shelf. U can see your canned goods so much better. They organize them very nicely. I got mine at Target. Love them.

I was just thinking, what gems these Around the house happenings videos are. Even though they seem to be just like " a little bit of cooking and baking and some cleaning.
My Oma is no longer able to do things in the kitchen,... after she had a stroke. But she rocked it all. When I moved out, I always called for recepies and such, but she just said:" You just have to look and taste, I eyeball. Don't stick to measurements".
Your kids and grandkids will always have this videos to see how you did all of it. Struggle sometimes, evolve recepies an so on.

I put a single beater on my hand mixer to combine the oil and the nut butter. It works best if you store the nut butter upside down before you mix.

if you have an immersion blender, it works wonders for the almond butter.

Try storing the almond butter upside down so the oil doesn't settle to the bottom, making it less " chunky" then a gentle stir usually works🙂
You are looking good. With my first baby, the Dr. said all a mother has to gain is 17# but they would allow 20#. I was fine with that because I like to be on the slim side. When I was going up in weight, the nurse said to watch it and at the next spot., I was on track again. My baby was nearly 7# and I felt great and went home in my prepregnant clothes and the nurses on the floor were raving about me. Next Dr. said the sky is the limit. He had 5 children and apparently his wife wore a little bit from all 5 afterwards. The nurse kept on telling me to eat and gain more at each checkup so I did because of the hounding and against my will but I did watch everything that I ate and I normally do. This time I gained 29 pounds and my baby was only 3 ounce’s bigger and still under7# so I was the one bearing the burden, but I lost it right away. I had elastic waist slacks then so I still went home in my street clothes but didn’t feel like my old self.
