Great Vid, Choom!
Ha ha thanks! To quote Samurai, this game is a "thing of beauty - will never fade away!"
I'm a big fan of standees. These look really great.
Great video!! I got the game last night and already assembled the tiger claws and Malestrom!!🤣
Combat Zone is amazing. It’s nice to have some generic loot available this time.
bro brought out the becca figure and my depression XD
The standees on clear bases look awesome, so good there are different options for peoples different level of hobbying
The standees look great. I'm hyped for this to come out.
MFW I told you in discord I was jealous of you having "The Moment" mini without making the connection of already watching your videos LOL
Now we're talking!
Great video and overview. I love the acrylic standees... totally improves the "speed to game" or a tactical minis skirmish game. I see that Pre-Orders are open until May 15th. Any idea when those will ship? Can't wait to get my hands on this (I ordered the collector's edition straight away)!
Not sure on shipping - you'd have to reach out to MFC for that. Hope you enjoy it!
Wooooo im so stoked for this!
Now I'm jealous. Officially.
If it saves a few dollars, I’d go with the standees
I will definitely be doing the preorder!
Super interested in this game, good video sir Crab.
This game really wants to stay at my house.
Loved the anime, thanks for the info here!
I thought i wouldn't like the standees but they look really good
I'm a big mini fan and collector. I have many games and armies.
Also a big fan of the electronic game and the anime.
But
$250 + $90 shipping is a hefty price for the minis version (collectors) of the game. People complain about GW but you can get alot of minis for a game like Necromunda for that and free shipping because of there market saturation.
I'm probably gonna go in on it, but yeah I was like ... that's a few $.
I recently got the Cyberpunk Red: Combat Zone box set. The terrain in that is (very) thick cardboard. This looks like it might be MDF? Is that right, or is it the same thick cardboard from the first game? Thanks for the unboxing. Not sure if I'll get in on the pre-order, but I will likely pick this up at some point. :-)
Yeah I believe it's MDF. Harder than the Red Starter
As much as I like standees for the purposes of getting into the games quickly (without the need for painting your characters to make them stand out). I would've hoped for some miniatures to do and see some awesome paintjobs. Guess I'll find some 3d files to print out my own
Miniatures are an option. This is just the base game.
I love the use of shape to help color blind folks
I’m a fan of not painting, no time in my life. Would be cool if all passed gangs had that option. Looks like a fun game
I believe MFC are going to bring out the standeez for all existing gangs.
I would definitely add a couple more gangs if they did standez versions.
Any info on the faction specific cards in the collectors edition getting a separate release?
@@hivescumsteve6524 Really hope this is the case. Although I don't see it happening for the Borderlands game they have.

Honestly surprised nobody has tried to make this a mobile card game too. I think it would be a pretty cool concept. Except it would be done by an absolutely terrible mobile developer company and probably never get updated after being broken at release
Stupid thing to say
@@Pugggle don’t let my comment make ya panties crusty in the middle.
If they're going with standees, I'd much rather them be cardboard. Based on previous experience, Acrylic is a disaster waiting to happen.
Gonna be a hard pass on the acrylic alone. That and once again having to reiterate the disappointment of yet another cyberpunk game going dystopian/2077/Bladerunner. So desperate at this point for a good crime/corruption fighting GitS style game.
This is not the CMON 2077 board game. I've played over 3 dozens miniatures game for the last decade and this one during Kickstart by Monster Fight Club (MFC) Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone is absolutely exceptional. Easy rules, everything is streamlined with 3 colors to pay attention to. A full standard 100-150pt can be played within 60-90 mins depends on the objective. I highly recommend trying it out. You can see many channels and articles ranked it higher than a lot of "name brand games" like GW stuff or Killsteam
Why is acrylic a disaster?
@@MAstaKFC I suspect it's because acrylic is a somewhat brittle plastic so, it's not gonna be super forgiving if someone steps on it or drops something on it, or even just dropping it from table height on a hard floor might break it. But honestly I don't see how that's much different than minis in general, especially for those of us getting into resin 3d printed minis which are far more brittle so, it's a wash for me, but maybe it's a "DISASTER" for others?
